The woman who owns this shop also owns Periwinkle Station next door and PS Winkles across the street. She was very friendly and was happy to provide help when I needed, but also didn't breathe down my neck as I was perusing the store. I was on the Florence Charm Trail, but earlier when I was on Bay Street I hadn't stopped into this shop and I'm glad I did the second time around. I was trying to be quick on my trip through this store because my mom and I had planned to head back to Eugene much earlier... so I didn't get a chance to wander leisurely, but there were a few things that caught my eye and I had to keep myself from looking and buying. Had I had more time, I don't think I would have gotten out that easily.

While I was in the store several people picked up something for someone they knew because it was somehow the perfect thing. Whether it was the name of the socks or the right saying on a mug... It's like the store has some kind of Charisma that helps you find the thing that you were looking for that you didn't even know you were looking for or forgot you had been looking for... And it reminds you that gifts are not just for you but forgiving to others. There's everything from locally made jewelry to uniquely scented candles to jewelry that includes height, formed during the Mount Saint Helen explosion, and turned into glass like gems. They're also crystals and bronze and brass. Very helpful owner or manager I'm not quite sure but she was friendly and great and intelligent and curious. And the value is fantastic, there is a price range for everyone. Hope you discover a treasure the way so many others did this afternoon.

Would not recommend!! First off the waitress we had was…read morevery rilide and not helpful. Her attitude was of a person who did not want to be there. When we sat, she brought us some menus which turned out to be the wrong menu. The menu she brought was way different in serving sizes, prices and descriptions of what was on it. When we asked about allergies she shrugged and said she didn't know and didn't offer to check. Second we notified her that the cups she gave us were dirty and asked if we could have new ones. She save us a silent attitude and took them, the strainers she gave us were dirty also and a little stickey. She brought the EXACT same one back. We caught the attention of another server, the manger I have no idea no one introduced themselves. We gave him the dirty dishes and strainers and he at least had the sens to act like it was a problem and switched them. The window sill, salt and pepper shakers were also firy and we had a few fruit fly buzzing around. Secondly the menu is incorrect, I got the "Royal High tea" and it says on the me I soup AND salad. We told her she just shrugged and gave us a look that said "I dont care". So we did not get everything listed on the menu for this $48.00 meal. The soup we did get was cold. There are NO listing of teas that are available anywhere on the menu or that I could see from our seat. So we had to ask her if they had is or that and she didn't. So we took her recommendation for a tea, which was fine. I would NOT recommend you go here. Try one of the fun resturants by the water instead. They are cheaper by far and have way better food.

The shop had a wide variety of what my daughter would call hippie clothing, jewelry, novelty gifts and Art in the upstairs (all proceeds are donated, she doesn't take a cut). I found a couple of cute Cross handcrafted pieces by an artist out of San Francisco. I don't have a pic of them because she asked me if they were GIFTS and when I told her yes, she wrapped them, put them in a craft colored gift bag complete with curled ribbon and a flashy sticker with her boutique name. The owner is very kind. If you plan on making this a regular stop make sure to get a punch card and when the punchcard is full it's $20 toward merchandise!!!
