The woman who owns this shop also owns Periwinkle Station next door and PS Winkles across the street. She was very friendly and was happy to provide help when I needed, but also didn't breathe down my neck as I was perusing the store. I was on the Florence Charm Trail, but earlier when I was on Bay Street I hadn't stopped into this shop and I'm glad I did the second time around. I was trying to be quick on my trip through this store because my mom and I had planned to head back to Eugene much earlier... so I didn't get a chance to wander leisurely, but there were a few things that caught my eye and I had to keep myself from looking and buying. Had I had more time, I don't think I would have gotten out that easily.

To top it all off, they make their own homemade whipped cream, which was amazing. I only had a couple minor issues during my visits. One time, the barista seemed a little distracted and left the espresso shot sitting on top of the milk a bit too long, so it tasted slightly burnt. It was still enjoyable though. Another small thing was that one of the employees who rang me up a few times wasn't especially friendly. Neither issue was enough to dock any stars because overall this place was wonderful. The coffee, atmosphere, and view made it one of the highlights of my trip and honestly one of the reasons I don't want to leave!

I was forced to go to Starbucks which was the typical boring overpriced experience. I felt my craving was not quenched. My punch card was sad. I hope they reopen soon with the same great employees, food, coffee, and atmosphere.
