We've been coming to Fiesta Veracruz since we parked our camper at Pine Cove campground in 2024. We…read moreliterally come every weekend during camping season. The service is always outstanding. You will have the freshest chips and yummy salsa on your table seconds after being seated. The guacamole is always fresh and delicious and everything entree we've tried has been fantastic. We especially love El Tapatio and often order that. Grilled chicken with chorizo sausage and cheese sauce - SO yummy! Our favorite thing is probably the frozen margaritas. The best we've had anywhere, by far. Excellent flavor and the perfect amount of alcohol. It's a big restaurant with a lot of seating, so even when it looks crowded (we've had to park a street away sometimes), the wait is never long. The decor is well done on the inside, but we especially love the patio which is enclosed from all sides. We absolutely love Fiesta Veracruz and can't wait to go back every week. Ole!

I was in Wilmington for a tour at the college and only had one day to explore. After our…read moreperformance, we needed a place to eat after 9 PM, and Fiesta Veracruz was recommended by some of the students. The interior really lived up to the name--it was festive with lots of blue and brown tones, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The space was much larger than I expected, divided into three main areas. I was with a group of eight, and we had no trouble getting seated. Keep in mind, their kitchen stops serving the main menu after 10 PM, so plan accordingly. Our waitress was very helpful and sweet. I wasn't super hungry, so I ordered tostadas from the menu. While it said they only came with ground beef, the waitress happily substituted steak for one of them at my request. I was curious about the ground beef, so I ended up getting one steak and one ground beef tostada, along with a side of fries and a strawberry kiwi margarita to drink. Before I get into the details, I'll mention that I'm from Chicago, where there's no shortage of excellent Mexican cuisine, so I might be a little biased. That said, the steak tostada was good, though I felt the shell could've been a bit thicker to better support the toppings. The fries were standard, and the margarita was delicious. If you're choosing between the steak and ground beef, I'd recommend the steak--it had better flavor in my opinion. Overall, I understand why Fiesta Veracruz is popular. It's probably one of the tastier spots in the area. If you're looking for some decent food in Wilmington, it's not a bad choice. For the area and a first-time experience, I'd give Fiesta Veracruz a 3 out of 5.

Stopped here for a quick bite while staying in town to camp for the weekend…read more Immediately I was intrigued by the diversity of the menu; they had a wide range of Mediterranean cuisines and all looked delicious. The interior was quant and personal, with the walls covered with old celebrities, European landmarks, and historical events that give it a storied feel. The service was very inviting; we got there 40 min before close (I know I'd hate me too) and they were just as kind as could be. I ended up trying the chicken soup of the day and their crab stuffed cannelloni, which were both pretty good. My only note for not giving 5/5 was I didn't taste any crab in the dish I got, just lots of cheesy goodness (which was still delicious). Definitely a hidden gem that is worth the stop!

I had the Mediterranean salad with chicken. Juicy delicious chicken with fresh romaine, tomatoes, cherry peppers, red cabbage, Kalamata olives and a great dressing. Yum again! My son had the Mediterranean gyro. Lamb & beef piled high on a pita with tzatziki, hummus, red onion, lettuce, jalapeño and feta. He said is was one of the best gyros he's ever had. Service was fast and friendly, a nice guy. As Arnold said, 'I'll be back!'

This place is not worth putting a star, they got my order wrong after asking for my name to make…read moresure order is correct. Had to park to wait on ortder which is not a problem, then when guy brought it out did not have fries with it and I told him this and he stated I should have told person at window. person at window handed me my water and nothing else on order. I would have thought he would have made sure order was correct befor e he brought it out. When he brought fries back out had a really bad attitude like it was my fault that the order was wrong, then started be littiling me after I told him I was not the one that got order wrong they were. Started trying to provoke me into confrontation, as I was leaving parking lot he was filming me with his phone like I had done something wrong. Definitely was not me that caused the situation. I feel that this person was management and there is no way this person should be training employees to act like total jerks to customers. Last time I will go to this establishment

What can you say about any Burger King location. If they were all the same, either good or bad,…read morethat would be a positive thing. I have never owned a franchise, but I thought it was all designed to ensure a standard of performance/product across the chain worldwide? Silly me. I do want to get one thing out front early though. Praise for the young lady running the front counter on 27 July prior to 0800. There were a few things wrong with our order, that happens. We were not that far away in our hotel so we ran back down to sort it all out. She was calm, reasonable and even offered to refresh the hash rounds. So what goes wrong at a Burger King, this one in particular on this specific day, nothing tragic, but you do get what you pay for. Breakfast for two people for $11 is bound to have some limitations. I do wonder how sandwiches built from; bin o' egg patties, bin o' meat, pile o' buns/biscuits ever have a chance of looking like the non-flattened, non-soggy, appetizing food on the commercials. I don't blame the young people working in these settings, it is the fault of the corporate masters who want the food out fast, at a price point that provides a profit for them and the franchise owner. I would call this location average, it was clean (not busy and early in the day). They seemed to be overall effective at getting orders out. We went inside to order but we did see the drive through operating with a decent flow (again, not super busy yet). One last thing is Barry that unusual of a name, I mean there has been a hot comic series on in this decade. Whatever would possess someone to think an adult male's name could be B-E-R-R-Y...thanks "Apple" Paltrow.
