I don't usually leave reviews, but this experience at Wendy's pushed me over the edge. First of all, the customer service was horrible -- the employee taking my order had a nasty attitude like I was bothering them just by walking in. Zero professionalism. To make matters worse, I couldn't help but notice their fingernails were FILTHY -- like visibly dirty. How is that even allowed in food service? But what really made me lose it? The lettuce. I opened my salad and nearly gagged. The lettuce was black. Not wilted. BLACK. straight-up ROTTEN. It's disgusting that Wendy's would let something like that go out the window. Do y'all even check your ingredients before you serve them? This wasn't just a bad day -- this was a total health hazard. I rarely write a negative review, but I have to this time. We were traveling and stopped at Wendy's for an early dinner. I ordered the single burger and a small chili. The burger looked and tasted like it was cooked days before and sat around. I normally like Wendy's chili, but not this time. I hate Wendys (when these) places get good reviews and people are like "omg, Wendy's." Well omg, another little mom and pop place just boarded up the doors, nice work America. This is located out in the north suburbs of Detroit, and this is a typical Wendy's and the girl that I was driving back from her community college class decided that we were going to stop and get Wendy's. She often does. I often would rather lick a toilet seat. But all she got was a chili and a salad. I certainly wasn't going to touch those ugly burgers and awful fries which make McDonald's look like the best food in the world, and I was starving, and she had to pick up her kid, so I had some Chili of my own. But here's the thing. They really don't make very good chili! I mean is it really hard to make a really good Chili? This one tastes like a sort of weak watered-down bolognese sauce and it's just bad and it just really annoyed me. But what are you going to do about it. Rarely is a fast food restaurant deserving a review, but this place does. I went in for a carry out lunch. They were out of bbq sauce for the nuggets. I was pleased someone went out of their way to pour some out into a little container for me. I was also getting a small frosty. Being they didn't have the right lid, someone went to the effort to pour some into the small cup and setting it inside another larger cup with a lid. It is this concern for the customer that is deserving of my gratitude. read more

Always out of everything. It's a 10 minute minimum wait in the drive through even if there's only 2 cars in line. The heavier set African American male cashier at the drive through window is always rude, never responds when you say "thank you" or "have a good day." Just slams the window closed. Today I ordered an Asiago ranch chicken club meal, requested for them to make it spicy. Got a plain crispy chicken sandwich with some ranch and two tomato slices on it. No bacon. No Asiago cheese. No lettuce. Chicken was plain, not spicy. Had to add a slice of American cheese on it when I got home. Paid almost $10 for what I could have gotten at McDonald's for less than $5. What a mess this restaurant is and poorly managed. I ordered and on board it says $4 for 4,limited time $2.99 buy when I pointed out, they said you want to talk to a manager and never did one appear. Poor management. Then they have water all over the floor near soda dispenser, creating a slick floor. Lucky no one fell. I wish I had seen all these one and two star ratings before I stopped there. First the wait was long at the speaker but the girl kept assuring me she hadn't forgotten me and had a large order ahead. Finally after about a 10 minute wait a different voice abruptly asked for my order. I gave it to her and when I got to the window she stood there with her back to me not saying a word. Every-time I've been to this specific location, the employees are always in a rush to get you in and out of the drive thru line; I just placed a order and they forgot a couple items that I ordered. They always take long when you try to even place your order they never understand what you're trying to order, so another person will take over and try taking the order instead. The food is usually freshly made, so that's the only upside. I had to turn around and go to the drive thru again so I can get the items they missed the first time around which took FOREVER because the line was wrapped around the building. Fries tasted like dirt. I would've rated lower, except that the staff is very friendly and pleasant.
