It's just a Wendy's and rather identical to all the other Wendy's with nothing of particular note. However the warm greeting I received along with the speedy service was better than most. I had their Asiago Club which I found not only to be tasty but for $5.19 a rather good bang for the buck. The area around this Wendy's has plenty of parking. The kitchen, dining area and restrooms were all spotless clean and free of any foul odors. read more

I don't know what has happened to this Wendy's. After the remodel it turned into a pretty good place, but now they just can't seem to get anything right. I ordered the chili, which is common for me, I get it at least once a week, but this past week it was so hot I couldn't eat it. I don't know why it was so hot with spice. They also seem to have a problem with whatever sandwich I order, as it is never correct. If I order a grilled chicken with bacon and asiago cheese, I will get a plain grilled chicken sandwich. This has happened three times now. I do not understand why this is happening, as this used to be my favorite fast food place in Tarboro. I will now drive to Rocky Mount if I want anything from Wendy's. So sad to say I can no longer recommend this Wendy's. read more

Are you freaking kidding me (kid being the key word)! Came to town on business, got in late, hungry. Sat in line 20 minutes prior to ordering but it's Wendy's and worth it right? Ordered the single small w/ coke. Got to the window and a girl with so much wig took my card meanwhile all I was thinking is "this wig hair is going to be all over my food". 3 kids kept arguing about what I ordered and I told them 3 times again, nothing fancy. Walked in only to get eyes rolled at us, liked we had walked into their homes. Dining room filthy, nothing stocked. Food disgusting, biggie size fries small, looked as if they were picked up off thr floor. No chili. Looked as of the staff were to move any faster or have to do anything at all they would just break into pieces. 1 inch of lettuce on sandwich, tomato size of a pepper flake. So MUCH mayo, looked like just dumped the entire gallon bucket onto sandwich. I chose to do the curbside pick up today. I avoid going in places as much as possible. I ordered the grilled chicken apple pecan salad. I was very pleased with the wait time, maybe 3-4 minutes. Considering the line at the drive-through, that was great! My salad was very fresh. I will definitely consider this option in the future. read more

I'm not sure what's up with the other reviews. We stopped here on our way to the Outer Banks. The inside was pretty nice. I actually go so far as to say the nicest Wendy's I've been to. Waited 30 minutes to have our order taken and food served due to slow moving staff. Head cashier got something wrong on each of our orders. She didn't understand half of what we told her and then we couldn't understand half of what she said. Customers before us were coming back to the counter with messed up orders too. Went to the Wendy's is Tarboro last night and there was a manager in there that went by the name Clay. She was so rude. Not only to us but to the employee working the front counter. If that was my child working under her supervision I would make her quite. No one should have to put up with being treated like that in the day and time. The girl at the front was young and I felt the entire time she was on the edge of tears because of the way that supervisor was speaking and derating her. On my lunch break send to Wendy's for an apple pecan salad. When he return with the salad it was so disappointing. This salad looks as if it was rush and put together, a piece of apple where the blue cheese, two Cranberries a hot mess!!!!! Tried to call the store the phone rings as if no-one is home. Some one is there I'm so dissatisfied I have to take the remaining of my break to go back to the restaurant. I never post reviews but I just had to because the rating is sooooo off. This Wendy's is recently remodeled, looks great, is super clean, and staff were really nice. Bathrooms are clean as a whistle, with signs everywhere reminding staff to take cleanliness seriously. There's literally a modern fireplace and some lounge chairs. Great Wendy's. read more
