I had an amazing experience with this Moe's. Stopped off on a road trip. Excellent food, clean facilities, great service. They truly went above and beyond. I was in a hurry to get back on the road and I left my wallet by the salsa bar. 4 hrs later into my drive I realized my mistake. The whole staff was so helpful and caring. They made sure to secure my personal information and return it to me safely. I cannot thank them enough! There's service, and then there's SERVICE. 11/10 experience with this location. This is typical Moe's and delivers the brand you expect. With every entree comes a complimentary generous portion of chips. There is a self serving salsa bar, with mild to hot choices. I had a salad dished up my way--white meat chicken black beans and seven other topping choices you don't really want listed. Just know you can customize salads and bowLs and really anything. Your order is made while you stand at the counter. The guys had stacks, surprisingly not as messy as most hand held choices. The steak stack was okay, according to 18 year old. Lots of drink choices from real brewed iced tea, sweet southern and unsweetened northern, and the soda fountain with hundreds of combinations. Serve yourself. Beer is also offered for sale. I'm very familiar with Moe's but my first time at this particular location. I was in the area for work and ended up coming here for dinner two nights in a row! I ordered my usual: the Moo Moo Mr. Cow kid's burrito with no tortilla. It was served in a bigger container than I'm normally used to but no complaints there--more room for veggies! :) I got steak and it was hot and fresh. Always love the selection of veggies and topping it off with one or two salsas from the self-serve salsa bar. They also have a Coca-cola Freestyle machine for drinks which always gives extra points in my book--love all the drink options in those things! The service was good. Staff was friendly yet still quick and efficient. I had a good experience both visits and will be back if I'm staying in the area again. read more

Had the fucking door locked past opening time so I called to ask about it. They said the doors not locked and told them yes it is. She said well if you came before opening time then it probably was I told her no I came at 11:00 am. Idk the employees name but she said I've already taken care of 4 customers so I can assure you it's not locked. I like the food at Moe's, for what it is. It seems fresh and I appreciate being able to customize my order. But, they are often very skimpy with the portions, and have become even skimpier with the "free" chips. At around $10 a meal, I hardly call the chips free... so please give me more than 7 if you're going to bother giving me any at all. It's a chain. I get it. It is what it is... I just wish it were a better value. A bowl of rice, beans, lettuce, and a few pieces of grilled chicken hiding throughout shouldn't set me back so much. read more

I just visited Moe's for the first time Im pregnant and I was craving Chipotle but unfortunately there isn't one in Wilson or remotely close. So someone told me to go to Moe's. When I walked in I was welcomed and I told the workers I had never been there before. That didn't mean anything to them I told them I wanted a bowl and the young man started to prepare the steak bowl I was a bit confused because no one asked what I wanted out side of the boy asking if I wanted beans their menu reads like the bowls are already made up so I didn't know if I could ask for more or less and customize to my liking or if I would be charged for customizations . Once he added my rice and steak immediately I was disappointed and I wanted to ask for more rice but no one was telling how they operate. I didn't know if I could ask for more rice so he passes my bowl to the next person and I ask the girl is the normal amount of meat they put on the bowl she said yes it was so little meat I was shocked given Chipotle doesnt give you a lot of meat either unless you pay extra but their portions of meat was so small it was pointless and extra meat was $2 more on top of a bowl that's already very close to $10 before tax once the girl gets my bowl I told her again that I'd never been here before how does it work and she's just standing there looking at me like I'm crazy so I just started picking toppings with no clue how much it was going to turn out to the works were so dead and unpleasant I just wanted to say forget it and leave with out food but my pregnant self was hungry so I just suffered it and paid and rushed out I had to ask my husband to go back in and he ordered me a side of rice and sour cream read more

My first time dining at Moe's was at this location in my hometown. I was back in the area to visit family and friends, and my boyfriend at the time took me here. I'm a vegetarian, and it is ridiculously challenging to find anything remotely vegetarian in this town. Even harder is finding tasty food that is affordable, not Taco Bell and sort-of nutritious. Enter Moe's. I was so excited by all of the amazing options for my burrito. I can't even remember what I put on it, but I know it was full of delicious vegetable ingredients, rice, beans and tofu. Cheese and sour cream were obligatory. Okay, maybe that part isn't so healthy. Still! The possibilities are endless at Moe's. I love that there are tons of combinations you can make. The food is prepared quickly, the staff is there smiling at you, and it tastes so good. My only real complaint is that there just isn't a great salsa. Salsa is important to me, and I am very picky about my salsa! Their salsa passes, but it's a little too much on the chipotle flavoring for me, and I just prefer straight-up spice and burn. I also really loved that you could buy a beer to go with your meal. They had a nice and affordable selection, and as long as you are over 21, you are good to go! The only other thing I would change about this place is the presence of Fox News on their television. C'mon folks, really? I would rather watch sports, and I hate sports. This awful establishment gave us the smallest proportions ever. It was like they were feeding a newborn infant with these scoops. I was extremely disappointed with the quality as well. They were more interested in feeding the next customer than what I actually wanted on my burrito and then they told me in order to get what I actually wanted I had to pay extra so they had to completely remake my burrito. They legit gave me a spoon full of guacamole but it was the tiny plastic spoons you give your children when they want Mac and cheese. I think 70% of my burrito was rice. Anyways to end my review if there was a chipotle in the area moes would have no chance but unfortunately there seem to be no chipotle in the area. Definitely the place to go for a good, oversized burrito. I love the Ques. The chips are good as well as the salsa. If you are looking for a chunky salsa, they don't have it. However they do have many different kinds. The kids love coming with me and enjoy the food. It's fresh and I can put anything on there I want... made Heather's way. I need to First mention that I have been going to Moe's since they opened and have frequented Moe's in Connecticut for several years. The Moe's in Wilson NC definitely needs work. Upon entering there are no real differences except you notice that the booths were generally not clean. When I got in line the person serving seemed more interested in how fast he was filling up my burrito bowl than what I actually wanted in the bowl. He was very skimpy on the chicken and guacamole. LOVE Moe's! Great food fresh and Organic!! The vegetarian is not forgotten here. They offer legumes tofu and lots of fresh veggies for meal. I did notice that it needed a bit of "something" to the Art Vandalay (which is HUGE) I can split it with my hubby. I added the Southwest Vinaigrette and WOW ... so much better.. I've not been overly impressed with this particular location as of yet. The few times that I've been forced into eating here, I'm always amazed at how much food you actually DON'T get. For my wife and I, it's usually around $18 which is outrageous considering we're talking about fast-food. I much rather eat down the street for the same price and be waited on. My last visit afforded me the opportunity of having an employee sweep a rug's worth of dirt all over my feet and pants while I tried to get salsa. Who trains these people? Decent food, though it lacks flavor. Perhaps if I ordered something loaded up with cheese or meat, it would be better, but I don't eat all that. It is nice that they have vegetarian options, even if they are mediocre--there aren't very many places in Wilson that have options aside from a bowl of lettuce with not-ripe tomatoes which they call "salads." When I'm too tired to cook, and want something cheap-ish I go to Moe's and get the Art Vandalay burrito, adding grilled peppers and mushrooms to the included rice, beans, lettuce, guacamole and pico de gallo. They also have other add-ons (cheese, sour cream, olives, jalapenos, etc), that you can get if you want, free of additional charges. Like I said, it's decent. Been going there for a while and never had an issue. Staff is friendly and prompt! And their soda machine is possibly the greatest thing in the universe. Rumor has it that if you select all the flavors of diet Coke on the drink selection wheel, a secret door will open allowing you to climb inside. I've been to this location on three different visits and I noticed each time that customers entering before me and afterwards got what I guess is the customary greeting for white clientele. A big boisterous welcome to Moe's. I HAVE never been greeted in this manner. The food was basic, certainly nothing to write home about. The last visit did it for me though. My food was hastily thrown together and requests for extra cheese was met with a smidgen more. Unfortunately, this restaurant has consistently gone down in quality and service over the years. As someone who enjoys fresh, healthy food options, I am willing to pay for quality. However, the kind of service that sets a great restaurant apart from average is in part, not having to ask for more of "the basics." When the server is sparse with the basics, that's an indication to me that my business is not really wanted or appreciated. When I can whip up mexican dishes in my own kitchen that outshine your options, then what's the incentive for me to visit your establishment? We ordered taco salads and burritos to included both beans and ground beef among other things. Where was the beef? The guy continued to load black beans in spite of us attempting to stop him.
