We were asked to leave. We had our EMS cocker spaniel with us. We have done this many times. Went in and set down. Lil (dog) went under the table as she is trained to do. Two employee very loudly came over and told us to leave as dogs weren't allowed! We told her she was registered as an emotional support animal and I had papers. They just said take her and get out! How embarrassing. We have never been asked to leave ANY restaurant before. The are in violating of federal rule's allowing an ESA animal to accompany their owner. Does anyone know if this store is a corporate store or a franchise store? I noticed that you never see a manager online at this store at all. Stopped by last night, only three employees online, and they were getting hammered. No manager in sight. Asked for the manager, and he was too busy to come out front, he was doing his "Manager duties." I thought running the store and assisting customer is part of his dues. According to the updated Google hours AND the app, the lobby at the Sterling Wendy's is supposed to close at midnight. We went there between 9:30 and 9:40 and the doors were locked. I attempted to call, but it rang and rang, and then I was just automatically hung up on without having been given the chance to speak with anyone. We're very disappointed in the unprofessionalism shown by not following posted times and being ignored by phone when trying to clarify the situation. read more

This was the most disgusting Wendy's I ever seen ever. The counter at the register was disgusting dirty. The restaurant was dirty, I seen flies in the milkshake machine and the cooking area floor had food all on the floor. I ordered a Big Bacon Classic and low and behold NO Bacon, they had no lettuce and I ordered a combo but got no fries. Just really a dump but if we was in California they'd shut it down!! I went to Wendy's today at about 640 we sat in line for approximately 30 minutes then when we got our drinks they were all half full I am very disappointed in the service that I got today and I hope that not everyone was treated this way. Went here for lunch and was "assisted"(if you can call it that) by a woman(if you can call it that) with the crappiest attitude. The food was alright but the soda machine was dirty as literal dirt came into my cup when I was filling it up. Also, the dining room was filthy. The tables were obviously not cleaned, probably in days. This particular Wendy's is especially gross. Do yourself a favor and avoid it. read more

My husband and I like Wendy's breakfast's but in the last month we have had 3 bad experiences here. This store also needs to train the staff on how to use the Wendy's App ( use of rewards and offers). It is now time to share these as it is un excusable for the management to keep allowing these issues to continue. One early morning we pull up to the drive through to order the Honey Chicken Biscuits we get told that they are out of the chicken for them. Another day we Mobil ordered breakfast for a drive through pickup. When we arrived there was a hand written sign on the drive through order speaker not serving breakfast for the next 2 weeks. The sign has no date indicating when it was posted nor a re opening date. WT!. Today we pull into the drive through for a quick and yummy breakfast for the road just to be told " Sorry we are out of the seasoned potatoes." We ask if we could just get fries then. We were told "no, we do not substitute." We seriously believe that all restaurants need to be flexible and learn how to please their small town customers if they are wanting us to return. How many chances do you get to make things right? Shame on the management for letting these issues play out the way they did. If things do run out items can easy be substituted if explained to customers the right way most would not mind paying for the differences. Chicken upgrades or fries for potatoes. I know a little about working in restaurants and it's about pleasing the customers for return business. This business has some learning to do. Hoping for a better experience next time. But it could be a long while before we return. read more

Whoever was at the window at 11:11 am on 1/26/21 was very rude and gave us a pretty hard time. Older aged women blonde/white hair declined a gift card because it "wouldn't work" and after giving her a new debt card to pay with proceeded to ask for an ID to assure the card holder name was who was paying with it. Which is none of their business. It was my friends moms card and they don't have the same last name so she gave us dirty looks and didn't believe what we had to say. Just because its April 1st doesn't mean you can make the meals into a joke when someones paying you for it. Went here today to get my mom and grandma a quick lunch, ordered 2 DOUBLE bacon cheeseburgers, with 2 small frys. What they got was 2 SINGLE bacon cheeseburgers, and 1 small fry. Slow service, they had to check to be sure our $50 was real. Then we waited forever for the fries. Not sure why because they were only warm. My burger was smooshed and looked as if it had been sitting a while. We picked a table that looked less dirty than the others, they were all pretty dirty. It was about 5:30 and there was only 2 other people in the place so not like they couldn't clean. As we are eating a couple came in and tried to order frostys only to be told they were out of chocolate ice cream. We won't be coming back to this chain. Wendy's is getting pretty bad. appears clean and remodeled, so disappointing to discover it was twilight-zoney to the max and a hostile environment for dine-in customers! imagine this: 95 degree (F) summer day, and while you would assume it would be cool and comfortable inside the restaurant, you get WAY more than you bargained for with freezing and uncomfortable.. seriously probably not even 50 degrees (F) at the dine-in tables. multiple customers were shivering and complaining and having to disrupt their lunches to hopefully find jackets in their cars. rather than get freeze-dried, we decided to go sit in the blazing sun at the outdoor tables. it was JUST TOO COLD indoors. their 3-4 outdoor tables are poorly placed next to street traffic, and while there are holes in the tables for sun umbrellas... no umbrellas in sight. in a gentle and friendly way, i voiced my complaints (restaurant "suggestions" rather), to a young man working there.. he stared at me blankly. i almost have to question if the freeze-out is intentional to keep people from eating there. read more
