I love Wendy's chili! However, the Wendy's in Springboro, OH does not make it correctly. There is very little meat in their chili. They are supposed to be known for their meaty chili, but the Springboro location is ripping their customers off. It's happened several times to me at this location. I think they may put a few more beans in, but they put very little hamburger in their chili. I used to work at a Wendy's and know how it is made. Also, when I get chili at other Wendy's locations, their chili is nice and meaty like it should be. I hope Springboro Wendy's sees this complaint and corrects their error and starts making chili the correct way, nice and meaty. read more

This location has been disappointing the last few times we have came here. The employees seem uninterested in quality and work ethic is not being monitored. The drive thru attendant was polite, the other employee (I could only see the 2) was openly scrolling on his phone moments before handling the food. The food we ordered was sloppy, 45 dollars (8 gallons of gas) worth of food drenched in mayonnaise was just thrown together and plopped in a bag, the fries were lukewarm and soggy. Understaffed. Placing an order took forever. Soda fountain had no ice and ran out of beverages. The staff said there was nothing they could do. There was only one cashier taking orders who seemed new and he kept making mistakes that had to be corrected by other staff. This is a very busy Wendy's off the freeway. This locations blows. Burger tasted old as shit, it was actually hard and dry. I could understand if I came in super late, but it was 7:50pm. My drink never taste like what I order, I get they use the coke freestyle but damn, rinse it out in between uses. They were also only accepting cash, which happens a lot here. I've been eating at Wendy's for 50 years and the Springboro location is a joke. They stopped in the middle of my order and said they can't take drive thru orders during shift change. I don't think shift changes at 8:08 pm on Tuesday. There is NO WAY that this is corporate policy. After all other restaurants opened the dining area after COVID the Springboro location did not open the dining room. Now they close the drive thru at arbitrary times. I refuse to come here ever again I go to the drive through and ask for my DoorDash order and the worker says come inside and grab it and then turns the microphone off so I walk in and wait 5 minutes before the worker even acknowledges me I go up and say I have an order and she says "pc" and I said what and she says it again and I said "I don't understand what you mean" and she gets an attitude and goes it's the initials on the order and I go oh sorry it's hc and she goes we don't have it and then walks away and I'm just standing there trying to figure out what is happening and she comes back and says we don't have it and I show her and she goes "ok?" They can't get simple things right, they only help one car at a time in the drive through which means you're waiting at least 20 min just to order. They finally open inside, but wait until you're in there to tell you, cash only, even though the register at the drive through takes card. No sign on the door, no common sense to ring you up at the other register. So by the time you get back to your car, the drive through lane is 20 cars long! I'll give them credit for consistency! They are ALWAYS rude and ALWAYS seem inconvenienced by providing service to their customers. I've lived near this location for 11 years and have NEVER received polite service. They literally throw the food out the window when you pull up. Don't dare ask them for ketchup, because the window is closed before you speak, which typically results in me honking the horn so they'll come back. I've never been told to 'have a nice day' or even been greeted with a 'hello.' Apparently, THEY are doing YOU a favor when they give you the wrong order.
