I can't say enough good things about this Wendy's!! They have the BEST customer service, better than some sit down restaurants. We come here regularly so I could have written this review many times. Deborah one of managers is always super accommodating! All of the people who work there are kind and super helpful! The food is always hot and fresh and usually fast. If something isn't correct they always fix it right away and the majority of time things come out as intended. The little ketchup cups are perfect size for splitting up a frosty after dinner. I just called ahead to Wendy's to order a kids meal for my son because it's his 8th birthday today. I said I was running a little behind so I was wondering if I could make the order and then pay for it when I get there. I happened to get a hold of the general manager, Joe, and he took my order and then met me outside and handed me a frosty and the kids meal and said he bought it and tell Liam happy birthday! I was so touched! What a kind gesture; it gave me a lump in my throat. There was a line in the drive-through and I realized that Joe is the only reason I was able to do this fun thing for my son on his birthday in time for his lunch. Thanks so much, Joe! They whisper over the intercom, or won't greet properly most times. None of the employees know how to use the mobile app. I understand they don't own or are in charge of the app, but they don't know how to apply the coupons at all. It's such a difficult time in the food industry. Can't hire anyone and trying to run on staff... like two people.... sucks. So bad. Today we ordered on the mobile app. Before we got there we clicked make food. We sat in the shop-ko parking lot for about 10 minutes and the app told us to come in and pick up our food, it's ready. So we walk over and try to open The door. It's locked and there is a sign saying they are too short staffed to answer the door. The line for the drive through is stretching around to the road. Crap... it's at least another 45 min to wait in line. I called and explained to the manager. Who very, very, very kindly brought it to the door. This used to be a very quick drive thru. I was VERY disappointed this time. I stopped by Friday a few minutes after 5 PM to pick up an online order. There was quite a line and moving very slowly. Several people gave up and left, guessing they went down the street to McD's. Anyway, I finally got to the pick up window 40 Minutes later!! No explanation, no thank you for your patience. I was under the impression that drive through was intended for quick on the go service. I came here on a Saturday. Literally waited in the drive through for 20 minutes before one car even got served. Wasted my whole lunch at the drive through without even getting my food because I ran out of time. Very disappointed. Great food. Terrible service.
