They also run daily specials and I lucked into their Tuesday Burger special, which was any burger and any draft beer (or cider) for $15. I have been going to Moore for over 20 years. On Tuesday I went in and I have a 6 pound registered service dog. I understanding as they have a new manager and he said they don't allow dogs. I told him this is a registered service dog and I would own the paper. He said well the dog has to be on the floor so we left some friends wanted to go there so I went there on Thursday last night my dog was in a bag told me my dog could not be close to the table. He came twice to complain to me about the dog, which no one could see the dog. I'm told that people complain. The dog didn't make a sound he was in his bag maybe popped his head out. It was no problem to anyone and basically he was illegally refusing a service dog. I have been in there before and seeing a big dog sitting at the bar with his owner. Not a service friendly place. read more

such a shame of once an awesome place. I had the OG burger and fries with bacon last night and the beef patty was such a joke. the beef patty looked like it came out of a Walmart beef box we get when planning a backyard bbq for the fam. and the fries seemed to be the leftovers of a previous batch with a bunch of small pieces and very few good length pieces. atleast the Coors light tasted good. read more

Me my mom and sister have been going there for yrs and Mathew was the best Bartender/server we have ever had and the food was to die for but last time we went in everything has changed, Mathew was gone and my steak bits i order medium were very well done and very salty i couldn't even eat them and lunch was horrible. Definitely has to be new cook cause we have NEVER had a bad meal there ever. so we went back later to give it another chance and needless to say it was still bad and sadly we will never go back. Before I sat down and ordered anything, I specifically asked if the Gonzaga game would be on with volume and was told yes. When it came time for the game to start, I was told by Zach " nobody wants to listen to that." Had I not already ordered a drink and food I would've left. By the time I got my poorly made drink and food half the TVs in the bar had been switched to show the game and you could barely hear it. So, apparently "someone" besides me wanted to watch AND hear the Gonzaga game... Not a smart thing to say to the local wearing a Gonzaga shirt and hat... Great food, great beer/drinks, great servers! What else could you ask for? The only drawback is that it's a metal sided building and it severely hinders cell service. But, that may be a good thing if you're playing hookie from work or avoiding someone. read more

Terrible service!!!! Food sat in window 7 minutes. Only 3 tables including us. 2 people working bar with 3 people at bar. Pull tabs coming from a tote below counter??? Food cold!!! This used to be a favorite spot to meet friends, eat, & drink. Not anymore!! The service, quality, & management sucks! On my last visit, I ordered the new over-priced barbacoa taco salad. How this left the kitchen with 1oz of meat on a plate of lettuce is anyone's guess. My complaints to owners/ management have been ignored. (Also, our server attempted to bring me the wrong meal 3 times, maybe I should have chosen one of those!) At least there are some other excellent restaurants in the neighborhood because I won't be back. read more

Such an amazing place hidden within that imposing exterior! The patio is a nice spot to sit in the shade during the spring and summer months. The interior has plenty of bar, booth, high, and low table seating. A couple pool tables off to the side are on our list to try out soon. The food my wife and I have had here has all been good. Steak bites with terrific natural flavor enhanced by a light rub of salt and pepper come with a thin gravy dipping sauce which is a great if you want to add a bit more zazz. Blueberry infused egg-bread is available in French Toast form. Breakfast is served until 1 PM. In a word: Hooray! read more

This place pretty much checks every box for me and is a well deserved five star review. I had delivered one of their cooks to work several time in my Uber, each time he encouraged me to try their breakfast so we made it a point to get there. To start with, they have fantastic coffee. Too many times this simplest of things is overlooked but they nailed it and they kept the cup full. I ordered the Country Skillet and it was amazing. Plenty of food there and it was a good value which is getting more rare these days. So much here to love and I'm not an easy guy to please. Gonna make it back to check out the dinner menu. read more

A+ food and service. We love Morty's. The food is amazing. Great hamburgers and steaks. They split a dinner for no extra charge. Lance, our server, was fantastic. He may have been the only server tonight and he greeted us right away. It was a Tuesday, but restaurant got busy, and Lance continued to work hard to take care of us and, I think, everyone else, too. He upsold the Chile soup of the day to me also and it was delicious. Lance is an A+ server. The ambiance is awesome also. read more

I will be giving them four stars because we did wait over an hour for our food. Other than that, our food was hot, full of flavor and filling. The gravy was so yummy, would kill for the recipe. Decided to bring friends without having vetted the place myself first! Mistake!! The bar is very cozy with a couple pool tables, good seating at the bar itself, and a selection of high and low chair tables, as well as patio seating. The service is friendly and one feels at home from the first visit. The dinner menu was a big disappointment. Like Park Inn and Wild Dawgs, this is a bar-first, food-third kind of place. Our table ordered the fish and chips and meatloaf plates. They were pedestrian, at best. We also had the hot wings and deep fried mozzarella, same story. I would not hesitate to return for drinks and laughs but when four people run up a bill in excess of $200 for drinks and dinner the food should at least be satisfying! read more

WOW, has this place gone down hill. Just walked out. Apparently the sports bar refuses to buy the NFL package from YOUTUBE so they are only showing 1 NFL game....ON A SUNDAY MORNING!!! To be fair, I COMPLETELY blame the NFL for what they have done by now requiring you to order services from 3!!!!!!! different prov to watch all the games, but that's the cost of doing business. My wife and I were invited to meet som friends here on a Monday night. I saw the reviews and was concerned, boy was I glad we went! The service was great! The food was excellent, and, for a sports bar, you could watch the game but still have a conversation. I strongly recommend this place...$3 beers, the steak salad and chicken wrap were great! We look forward to making this outlet go-to place on the South Hill. Much better than Twigs and Poole's. read more

We live nearby and have tried Morty's two times recently. The atmosphere is warm and comfortable which I appreciate during Spokane's long cold winters. Morty's is a sports bar with televisions everywhere. The service is good and the drinks are very reasonably priced. We ate dinner both times we visited and the food was disappointing. A friend who joined us is vegetarian and the only option is fish and chips. The salads all have meat on them. My hamburger was dry and tasteless and I believe I had a chicken sandwich the next time which was the same. I can't recommend the food but will probably go back to watch a game and see friends. read more

This spot is awesome and a tad underrated imo. They serve breakfast till 1p which is awesome for anyone doing the intermittent fasting thing. I love having my CA Benedict at noon here, and the Blueberry French toast is SO good. If you're not feeling the dark bar vibe, hang out on their back patio. It's a great spot to chill out and have a beer or some food. Service is decent, the vibe is unpretentious, what's not to love? read more

This bar has the most disrespectful bar tenders I have ever seen at a bar. I don't expect over the top service. All I expect is for them not to be rude. These bartenders are beyond rude and will deliberately make you wait if you're not a regular. They're dry and sarcastic. It is not a welcoming environment at all. From 20-person fights in the parking lot while everyone was wasted to people trying to fight people inside for simply putting their legs on the leg rest at the bar. AVOID AT ALL COSTS. read more

We are never been to Morty's before but we will never go back. We came in about 10:15 and went to order food and the witness who was extremely short and rude was us "well the kitchen closes at 10 pm" when I asked her why on there menu it says menu available from 11 to close, she said well it closed at 10 pm and walked away. Such rude service and no to mention most of the people in there where not wearing masks. I would not recommend this place. read more

This is my Pub, my place and I'm reluctant to write this rave because often the place is too busy. My only beef. Other than that, you won't find more competent service on the South Hill. Especially Joseph, who is the second-best bartender who has ever served me only second to Drew at Old Town Alexandria's Southside 815, a great eatery catering to Federal Workers. Morty's opens at 7 a.m. and quiet retirees patronize; great when you get one of these guys to talk because they are to a man Old School Wisdom Fonts with much to tell a younger man still going after it. That Value is one thing. At night there's a younger crowd with money and divorcees looking for a New Man. read more

Typically I like this place, however lately their service has been subpar. Today we went for lunch and they had 3 staff walking around with check lists or on their phones, with one guy working the whole place on his own (and he was hustling). It's too bad that they choose to staff it this way during lunchtime. Edit: I had to come back to add to this. There was a nun eating with a few older folks and the to employees mentioned above waited for her to leave and started mocking her loud enough for us to rear them from across the restaurant...pretty ridiculous. My son and I stopped here. I had the prime dip sandwich it was pretty good, a few fatty pieces I don't love and sweet potatoe waffle fries were good too. My son had fish n chips he liked it said it was crisp, cooked well just slightly over... but all in all good. Our waiter was on it, super friendly guy. I love this place because you can actually hear the sports game without having the music too loud. I had the fish and chips. Great thin crispy fries and fish had a thick beer batter. Very good. I almost laughed when I found the tiniest little plastic cup on the edge of the plate with less than 2oz of cole slaw. The tarter was in a much bigger plastic cup. Is there a shortage of cabbage now? Don't even mention the cole slaw on the menu. A joke. read more

Have been going to Morty's for a few months. Generally has been reasonably good. Food not bad but not great. If you stop for a beer they shove a menu at you. My most recent experiences (twice now) is that most of the staff (bar or table) has been good. The two recent are really bad. You have a bar person (male) that has no personality, almost ignores you, and constantly hangs out with what I would call regulars. That's fine to a degree, but to the point you almost have to stand to leave to get his attention. He should be terminated. Its not helping your business other than the regulars. That's good, but not in the long run. read more

Great pub designed for folks looking for a great tasty meal on a budget. I stopped in today & had the house special Steak & Bake for 10 bucks-you can't beat that with a stick! I've read a couple rather negative reviews, & I can honestly report outstanding service and great eats.
