Let me start by praising my amazing waitress, Rachel, who was able to handle the whole place by herself, and srill was timely, funny, and gave great advice on their menu. And speaking of the menu, what a treat: diner food that you would expect, but done perfectly, and plenty of other choices, especially for dinner. "DON'T EVER DO THAT," is what Ryan told us when we sat down for dinner on 08/12/25. He was high AF as he scolded us for calling in a pizza order prior to arrival, something we've done countless times in the past 20 years. We shrug it off & add a salad and drinks to the order, to start. The salad was great, even though the dressing was wrong, and when we're done with the salad, we get the bill. I reminded Ryan of the pizza we called in & mentioned when we arrived. He scolded us again that we can't ever do that, but that he would go get our pizza started. We didn't have time for the pizza to be started after waiting so long, so I asked for the check. On our way out, I saw a pizza on top of the oven and asked a cook if it was an "Old Combo pizza, minus mushroom," and the cook confirmed it was. Ryan was next to me at the moment, and I pointed to our pizza, revealing that our pizza was ready the whole time, then thanking Ryan for the great work. The most interesting part, was seeing the cook rush to reassure Ryan that it's okay, and it's not his fault, as we left. Lord knows this place doesn't need my money, as their location is ideal across from the hospital, and the place is often busy. Hopefully this a fluke, but I'd bet there's a pattern. Old school since 1932. I had to pay a visit to the oldest bar in Spokane and just to have a drink. They had the baseball game on so we enjoyed a beer and a soda while watching the big screen televisions. My friends and I have driven past this place for the past 4 years and finally summoned the courage to come in. From the outside, it looks like a dive bar next to the hospital but now I understand why there's street lights at this intersection. So it can direct you straight to the Park Inn. They have a variety of food options and a decent selection of your typical beers. Your WA beers such as Mac & Jack and Manny's are here too. It's super spacious inside and there are some games lined up against the wall for when you're feeling like you can beat that high score. The appetizers are fairly standard but loaded with cheese. They use corn batter for their jalapeño poppers which was unique and makes it a lot crunchier. The pizza has so much cheese it's insane. If you're lactose intolerant, order something else. It comes out looking small but after a few squares you'll start feeling full. The food here compliments a beer nicely and with the kitchen closing at 1 am, it's a nice option if you're trying to just hang out with friends. With the appetizer sampler, 5 beers, and a 12 in pizza (which is still a lot of pizza), all four of us were full for ~$50. Not bad imo read more

The bar is old school and really fun for 40-plus folks. The servers and bartenders are great too. But I agree with some other reviewers that the food is mediocre. We dined with our oldest son and DIL, and they absolutely love this place. They ordered wings and they were obviously a product from frozen. A sample of one was mostly breading, but the sauce was okay. My hubby ordered a pizza sub, and enjoyed the flavor, but was very disappointed in the size of the sub for the price. My taco pizza was not close to good ones I've had, and that might be because of the over done thin crust. I'll give them this rating for the great atmosphere and people. read more

Got one of those appetizers that was a little of everything, mozz sticks, fried mushrooms and mini corn dogs- the servings were small (about 3 pieces per) and tasted like the frozen pre-made ones that were just deep fried. The mozz sticks (all 3 of them) were rubbery and came with the same awful sauce that was on the pizza. We were really bummed about the poor quality, and small portions in relation to the cost. Park Inn is located next to Sacred Heart hospital on the way up the S. Hill. From my first impressions it was very clean with a dose of old-school and Chris Bovey Vintage Spokane posters. This restaurant maintains the goodness inside instead of trying to be all trendy (kind of like my old man). I tried the Old Combo pizza (Pepperoni, sausage, green peppers, olives, and mushrooms)and it ran me $18 for a medium size. (As the waitress advised, the medium was a good amount of pizza for two people). I would recommend getting a pizza with sausage on it, as that seemed to be the source of the most flavor. Also, side note, the cheese was on point. I had a nice dining experience here of the no-frills variety. I would come here again. The bar is actually open until 2am every night! read more
