I have never really gotten anything bad at Huey's ad the service is always good. I absolutely love their spinach and artichoke. Dip. I also love their soups. My wife and I stopped in before a show. I started out with the soup of the day. It was a white bean with chicken and chili. I know that don't sound great....lol...But let me tell you that was a very good soup. It had a very unique flavor. My wife got her usual steak on a stick. She said it was very tender and flavorful. She also got a order of The Onion rings. If you like the big onion rings, you can't go wrong. I got the Reuben sandwich and onion straws. It was hands down one of the best Reuben's I've had in quite some time. I highly recommend Southaven Huey's. if you want a good meal for a good price you can't go wrong here. Oh, and be sure to try the soup of the day you won't be disappointed. The inside is always very nice and clean. They have lived music occasionally and a full bar. It's just an all around fun place to go in my opinion.

I figured I'd give them a try especially after reading about their hamburgers on their website. I am so glad I did. The hamburger was absolutely fantastic. Hot fresh and you could tell it was actually meat not filler. Since it was my first time and I don't eat a lot anyway, I opted to get the kids wimpy burger meal with a small shake. The fries were hot and seasoned good. Not like seasoned fries -which I don't like but cooked with a flavorful seasoning making them crispy and tasteful. Sweet tea rounded out my meal. I got the chocolate shake to take home with me but it almost didn't make it. The shake was thick and good. The service was excellent. The young people were friendly and attentive to customers. I was greeted when I walked in the door and the young man patiently walked me through my options when I had questions or needed to take my time to decide. The place was clean. Lots of seating room inside with a great casual vibe. Perfect for family night, dates and groups. Hidden gem located on the side street (by Kroger's) off Goodman rd in Southaven Ms. I will definitely be back. They do have outdoor patio seating in the parking lot.

I ordered the A1 Steakhouse burger and chili cheese tots. I got fries instead. And the burger I received looked NOTHING at all like the picture on the menu. There were three of us and 2 got Coke Zero and one got fully leaded Coke. Then the girl who got the drinks did a damn three card Monty with them and of course didn't click the little buttons on the lid so you can tell which is regular and which is diet and which is Sprite (). My burger patties were right on the edge of done. The crispy onion strings and A1 sauce were there, I think, but as sparse as the leaves on a tree in December.

This 3-star rating is strictly for this location in Southaven, MS…read more While Five Guys is worthy of 5 stars in the majority of locations I've visited across this fair country, this location was a whole other experience. The decor is like any other Five Guys but the tables and booths and some of the chairs were just a mess. Well, they hadn't been wiped of crumbs, sauces, peanut shells, nor other remnants. It was gross. The floors weren't much better. They felt like they had never even had a one-night-stand with a degreaser, never mind a whole relationship, at any time in their existence. We all know it's expensive but I like this occasional splurge. At the counter, I ordered a little cheeseburger all the way excluding raw onions, mushrooms, and lettuce, a regular order of fries to share, a regular hamburger all the way, no exclusions, a chocolate milkshake and a Coke. All from a sullen teenager who had to be urged to speak audibly and clearly. I was polite but irritated at having to feel like an old biddy. The teen remained sullen but at least I could hear the questions. I had never seen a Five Guys kitchen crew so quiet, perhaps sullen as well? The whole place just felt... wrong. We asked for a booth to be wiped. Once it was wiped down, we sat to wait. Wait we did. The place wasn't very busy. Maybe 2-3 other groups of 2-4 people ahead of us. Still, we waited. Others got their orders and new people came in and got theirs. After asking about our order, it had mysteriously been lost in the queue. Certainly no apology from the sullen order-taker. We got a refund and left. Perhaps I shouldn't have asked the order taker to please raise his voice? I'm not sure what happened, but it was just a downer. We went to Huey's nearby where we shook off the experience, enjoyed drinks and a steak and returned to our hotel nearby. I will never update this review as I have NO intention of returning to this one.
