I'm so happy there is a Wendy's in SFO now. They're my "go to" fast food restaurant. SFO airport has had a Burger King for a little while now but their prices are high. This Wendy's has very fair prices for an airport restaurant. 3 or 4 good entree salads to choose from including my favorite Power Mediterranean. Only thing I don't like on it is the red onion & I wish it had cucumbers on it. 40g of protein and probably a good amount of fiber too. They also have the small side salads you can have with a baked potato or cup of chili for a healthy & filling meal. And of course for those of you who don't want to eat healthy there is always the Baconator, fries & frosty.

A mirage. But not a mirage

So I discovered this like an oasis in the desert. Tucked in the back pre-security area is this Wendys. The line moves fast and you'll notice half of it is airport staff. This place is a game changer. I swing by for a sandwich to take through security and much on while I wait for my plane. I swing by after getting off the flight and post customs as my welcome to America snack to eat while I wait for my ride home. Game. Changer.

One more Wendy's place I visited last week. You can find them on the 3rd floor of San Francisco International Airport. I think I don't need to describe parking opportunities and drive-trough options:) Wendy's is a part of the big food court on the floor. So you can sit wherever you want but I prefer soft banks in the area around. More of this, you can sit near the charging spot and charge your phone while you are eating. You have to understand that it is a very noisy and busy place. It is not a place for the comfortable chill, but for regenerating your energy. I was surprised, but the service was ok. No smiles, no friendly conversation but very fast and professional. I was a little disappointed with the food. The salad was nice because they make it in advance. But the burger was not so good. It tastes like freshly reheated food in a microwave. One more thing, there is not soda mixer and you can't refill your soda for free. So I would say this is a nice place if you drank too many cups of coffee and want to eat, but don't wanna spend too much money in the high-class restaurants or airport lounges.

Ordered a Bacon, Egg & Cheese Biscuit combo. The biscuit tastes awful. Coffee tastes awful. And found a piece of egg shell.

Service was great and burgers/fries were well made. For an airport fast food spot, a good call.

As Good Friday approaches I am craven some chicken. I can't put my finger on it but I enjoy some good chicken fingers. I first heard the term Chicken Fingers from Canadians and it is commonly known as chicken tenders in San Francisco. So when I saw Raising Canes Chicken fingers was coming to Stonestown in SF I was excited but then it hasn't opened yet. So I decided to go to the nearest Raising Cane's in Colma. Although there are more dead people in Colma than living the inside Raising Canes felt alive with decor which represents the nearby schools and local sports teams. I ordered the box combo from their minimalist menu which has all the essentials except onion rings . I enjoyed the lightly batter chicken fingers which was not too crunchy and was tasty dipped in the Canes signature sauce and the tangy with the honey mustard sauce and a bit spicy with their Louisiana hot sauce . It came with crispy not soggy crinkle cut fries which were a good way to pair the chicken fingers along with Texas toast which was not too flakey like some in SF. This is one of my favorite fast food places to get chicken fingers. They also do catering so you can give others the finger. You can get to Colma by feet , car , or BART "train" , to grab the chicken fingers which has flavor which are not bland or "too plain " it's a national "fast food chain" who got its namesake from the owners yellow Labrador Retriever, "Raising Cane" It's worth the "trekking" and worth "checking" they have a finger discount and it's not the fingers I was "expecting" its chicken fingers you can do some "hand pecking"

The chicken is delicious. But the size of each piece is small, who ya kidding? Texas toast…read moreincluded to 'make-up' for the thinly size strips. Amount of fries with the meal (on the menu board looks small) so I ordered an extra side of fries and even the side amount was stin-gee. NOT a very nice presentation when you open the carton to see what little food you get for the amount of money they charge. I paid $ 17.00 for a 3-piece w/ soda, and extra side of fries. These kids working here can 'easily' be generous with the servings to match the 'wanna-be' nice & pleasant smiles they exude. C'mon. Guaranteed you wont come back a second time; or even a first time after reading my review.

Add all those tourists and transit people you also have people from the whole peninsula, you can understand how crowded it gets here. The parking lot is probably the worst part of the experience here because it's always congested so I do not recommend coming here is you are short of time. It shares the parking lot with the carwash and several other restaurants so you'll likely be stuck here for a long while regardless whether you are going through drive thru or parking. The food is standard in n out which means something if you either are local or tourist. In n out intentionally goes old school so there is no app no order ahead and everything is pretty much all hand made including fries. If you never had their fries you may be surprised at the difference in texture but you'll like it the more you try. The burger is fresh and my only complaint is that I don't like their buns especially if you do grilled onions or animal style because the buns get soggy and breaks apart. That's one part shake shack had the upper hand.

Ordered the Double-Double animal style, and yeah... it lives up to the hype. The patties taste fresh, not frozen, and you can tell they're made to order. The melted cheese, grilled onions, pickles, that sauce -- it's messy but balanced. Nothing feels overdone. It's just a really well-built burger. Fries get mixed opinions, but straight out of the fryer they're solid. Light, a little crispy, not overly greasy. Add a bit of salt and they're gone fast. Shake was thick, classic, no shortcuts there either. What stands out most is how consistent everything feels. The menu is simple, but that's the point -- they focus on doing a few things really well instead of trying to do everything. Service is quick, staff actually seem organized, and the place stays clean even when it's busy. It's one of those spots where you don't feel like you overpaid or got rushed through a line. You just get good food, made right, every time. Came in expecting fast food, left feeling like it's in its own category. Easy 5 stars -- and yeah, I'd go back without thinking twice.

Even though this isn't the most convenient location for me, whenever I'm craving McDonald's this is the one I go out of my way for because every time I've ordered here, the fries are piping hot and the quality of mcdoubles and spicy mcChickens are top tier. Last weekend we stopped by in the morning to grab a quick breakfast before a round of golf and this gave me hope in McD's breakfast again. The biscuit on the sandwich was soft and buttery. The hash brown was super crispy. And the sausage mcmuffin was tasty. I got the biscuit sandwich free from points on the McD's app, which honestly is the only way to order at any McDonald's. From the customization, picking your correct amount of sauces, it's a must because they always got deals. If you are craving McDonald's and in the area (probably after a costco run), definitely not a bad location to check out.
