Placed an order in the Seekonk drive thru - which they did not get right. Two burgers with lots and lots of pickles (don't judge). Got home and opened the bag 1/2 later - not a single pickle to be seen... on either burger. So we called. The manager (Hubert or Herbert) told us the AI order taker did not have it correct. He had the audacity to suggest that should have checked the screen. (Should we just do their jobs?) Then he asked what we would like him to do. (Say what?) When I replied that it was up to him to decide the level of customer service we were due, he had no answers. So I suggested he ask for our address and send the missing items... or offer a freebie for the next time we came in. He said - and I quote, "not for two $7 sandwiches." Yikes at the other reviews. But my review is different. I came here on my lunch break, so you know what that means tons of people doing the exact same thing. Well right off the bat a little creepy but they have like this robot machine that takes your order, which is very precise might I add. The line moves quick and the associates were sweet and accommodating to make sure I got what I needed. The young lady thought the young man forgot to give me my drink so she double checked and asked me and I appreciated that but he did give it to me. The food was absolutely fresh, hot and the best Wendy's I've ever had, not being dramatic. And I wasted minimal time in the drive thru allowing me to enjoy my whole lunch not just half. read more

PREFACE: This review isn't meant to slam this particular location, nor the people who work here. It's about the franchise as a whole. Because clearly what I'm about to talk about is a corporate decision that reflects the mindset of all the executives, and likely impacts every individual location. Anyway... So, here's the deal. As a fast food customer, I know in the back of my mind that corporations like Wendy's don't really care about people or the planet or anything really. They only care about creating a business model that allows the CEOs at the top to financially screw over their employees as much as they can legally get away with, all so that the executives can buy that 10th mansion. But the unspoken social contract we engage in as customers every time we decide to pull through the drive-through to buy overpriced, unhealthy garbage food - is that we're willing to put that stark reality in the back of our minds. Just so long as the company in question at least goes through the half-assed motions that they care about people. Just give us the barest, most superficial indication that you're all about warm hugs and families and fun... and the customers can turn a blind eye to the capitalist dystopia we're all engaging in. That brings me to today, as I went to the Wendy's in Seekonk, the first time I've gone here in a couple months. What did I find as I pulled in? Where once was a human asking me what I wanted, I was now greeted with an uncanny A.I. voice, and a CHAT GPT-run menu screen, with its speech-to-text display. No more human employee to talk to. Damnit, you had ONE JOB, Wendy's CEOs. You just had to make those perfunctory attempts to make it seem like you're a people-first organization, so that we could all just go about pretending that this country isn't being run by evil parasites. But with this CHAT GPT nonsense greeting people at the drive through - it's hard to maintain the fantasy. That A.I. station at the drive-through is a sleek monument to the fact that Wendy's doesn't want to pay another human employee a salary, all so that the stock holders (who have never done an ounce of labor in their lives) can buy that fifth Cybertruck. It's also a reminder that Wendy's doesn't care about the customer experience at all. Gone is the pretense that this is a company about people and families and yadda, yadda, yadda. "We don't want you to have ANY human interaction at all, customer," they seem to be saying. "We just want to take your money, give you your poison, and get you out of here." I won't be coming back to Wendy's. Not this location, or any other location. And that's fine. As I said, I knew it was bad. Bad for me, bad for my wallet, and bad for the world. This was a wake-up call, actually, to finally acknowledge what I've always known. In a way, these corporations are doing us a favor by going full mask-off the last couple years. was happily enjoying my meal with my girlfriend. i felt something crawling up my leg, so i go to check, and it is a bunch of ants. i look under my chair, and there is an old fry COVERED with a swarm of ants. this wendy's is obviously not cleaned throughly. who knows how long this fry has been there. ants were crawling all over the floor near our table. i wouldn't be surprised if all the other ones were like that. read more

10:44 am. Drivethru Ordered nuggets. Waited at window for a while. Jason asked us to pull forward as not yet ready. He waited on five cars and still no food. Waited a few more minutes until I backed up to the window. Jasón handed me the food. I said I had begun to give up hope. He mumbled something about yeah sorry the nuggets took a while. I said it would have been nice to acknowledge that I waited more than 10 minutes and that often restaurants will offer something for the customer's time. He said he would think about that for next time. I asked him his name for this review at which point he became super snarky and dismissive. It's too bad customer service is no longer valued. I ordered a Dave's single at the drive thru and it as soon as I exited the parking area. It wad barely room temperature and the bun felt slightly hard, i.e., stale. It obviously was made long before they filled my order. Just horrible. I had to wait until I got to the office so I could microwave it to make it somewhat palatable. I was very pleased when I walked in the door. The people were friendly and patient, and not to mention the establishment was exceptionally clean. My food came out hot and fresh and I was very satisfied . The only thing slightly disappointing thing was that the fries seemed to be soggy. read more

Never have I experienced more poor customer service at a fast food chain than I have at this this Wendy's location. I stop by this location from time to time under various circumstances: 1. It 1:30 am, I'm starving, and the thought of drunkenly making a sandwich or frozen chicken and fries is too much to bear. 2. I have a coupon of some sort. 3. It's an awkward time between lunch and dinner, but food is so far away that I need a small snack to get me through. 4. There the rare occasion I actually want to try something here, like the newer-ish sea salt fries. It was #3 and #4 that brought me here recently. Deciding to go through the drive-thru, I pulled up to the menu. Before I could even stop my car and begin glancing over my choices, the crackly voice asks "Can I help you?". I utter an "umm" and before I can even get out a "one second!", I'm met with an annoyed and even louder "Uhhh, can I help you??" Well. . . .excuse me for not having your menu memorized and quickly spouting out my order to your standards. It takes more than a few seconds to even locate the value menu, nevermind decide on what I'll be eating with my fries. It's not like it was a busy lunch hour with a long line. . . I was the only car there! Perturbed, I drove up to the first window to pay. As I approached the second window to pick up my food, a hand juts out holding my bag of food. Mind you, I'm just leaving the first window. I'm sorry. . . do you want me to take your arm off as I drive my car into it? As soon as I grab my food blowing in the wind, the arm disappears back through the window. Thankfully, I didn't need any extra napkins or dipping sauces or I would have had to wait, awkwardly distant from the window, for someone to notice me and ask if I needed anything else. I understand that fast food is not designed to be an all-over gourmet experience, but basic customer service is something I expect. Standing in line to get my food I witnessed one of the workers using her phone with gloves on and when she was done texting she put her phone in her back pocket and continued to grab handfuls of tomato to move them from one bin to another. The boys at work are hungry. Ravenous, even. So I hop in the jalop and take the drive down to Wendy's. Young woman at the mike takes my order: five Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers, five fries. I pay, get the bag of food, and get back to the office. No bacon. Not on ANY of the sandwiches. I call Wendy's and ask for the manager. I tell him what happened and he offers to replace the sandwiches. "They're eaten," I tell him. "I'd just appreciate it if you ask your people to pay attention to customers' orders." It's super quick on the go. Always hot, sometimes it takes 5-10min in line before ordering like today but food comes out pretty quick after and hot. My favorite is the potato with broccoli/cheese, #1 with a coke and chicken nuggets is a big hit with my 2yr old. I've pretty much have had it all off Wendy's menu. Their new thing is the pulled pork sandwich which they have you choose from 3 different BBQ sauces to top it off. Go with the sweet it's a nice bit with the crunchy coleslaw. Let me say I hate coleslaw and I actually like their tangy style, it has crunch and not overly dressed! At least 3 out 5 times the fries are super overly salted but what are you going to do it's fast food. You can also make any drink you wish. They can pair anything with coke just ask. read more

This place is a joke now for drive thru. They can only handle one car at a time. Once all the cars in front of you get there food they will then take your order. It should be a steady pace of taking orders, collecting money, handing the food out the window. I don't understand. I'm guessing they have a clock that starts from when the order is taken so to beat that just hold off taking the order until everything else in front of them is completed. Yes, the drive-thru line is normally long but that's a good thing. If you go into the building to order you will normally beat the entire line in the drive-thru. I just wish they would put a sign up near the entrance of the drive-thru when they are cash only so you don't have to wait in line to find out it's cash only which seems to be happening more often now. Food is normally good especially when you see a long line. Very fresh, hot, and tasty compare to some of the other wendy's I have been too. read more

I come here for lunch often when I'm at work, and I'm not really a Wendy's person but I don't have much of a choice. But, they have the Freestyle soda fountain (two of them!) so that's a huge plus because there's not many places where I can grab Vanilla Coke from the fountain. Everyone here is very friendly and I have not had a bad experience. The employee who I see at the register a lot, Michael, is so friendly and polite! He always makes it a very pleasant experience. The remodel is great, I'm still impressed every time I walk in. Good job on that. read more

I am not sure what happened here! We were literally waiting in line for the drive thru for 20min... We were one car back from the speaker thing and she kept asking if we were ready to place our order! Ummmm no! We are not going to shout our order out loud nor is anyone in any sort of rush... Clearly! We got my chili and had to wait and get her attention again to get a hot sauce packet. I then noticed we only had one straw so again we had to try and flag her down! I went there to get 2 nugget combos, and one jr bacon burger, plain just ketchup. They said "we thought you wanted two burgers, we won't charge for the second one though because it was our mistake." This Wendy's is probably the worst in the Rhode Island / Mass area. The service is always incredibly slow ( 15-25 minutes typically at the drive thru, and if you go inside you are often waiting because they don't ask what you would like until the person in front of you has received their order) and they are constantly getting orders wrong, food is cold / not fresh, and they often run out of items on the menu or sauces. I would not recommend this Wendy's location at all, better off with McDonald's or Burger King read more

Will never go there again! At the drive-thru, I asked for a CRISPY CHICKEN SANDWICH, NO TOMATO. The gentleman through the headset even repeated "ok so, crispy chicken sandwich, no tomato. Would you like the meal or just the sandwich?" I told him "just the sandwich please". I get my order & drive off. I didn't think to check my food, but I probably should have. I got home only to see that I did not receive the crispy chicken sandwich & instead received a chicken wrap! On top of it, there were also tomatoes in the wrap. This place was for Closed for renovations... It recently just opened up a few weeks ago I went there to have some quick dinner the place is designed nice but to my dismay it hasn't changed any. The kitchen is visible from the cash register there was french fries on the floor chicken nuggets ketchup and mustard stains ... no one was cleaning it ...were flies roaming around I had to swap them off my face looks very unorganized really bad management. When I went to sit down .. tables with dirty in the dining room the floors had food all over and the trash bins were filled so high to the top that they were food traces on Top of Traces.you would just think newly open that it would be More cleaner n Organizied its like the Help doesnt care.
