This is hands down the worst Wendy's on earth. Ordering at the drive through is a major gamble. Chances are they won't have what you want anyways but in the case they do and they actually fill your order correctly go play the lottery that day because you just beat some tough odds. The employees don't give a sh*t either. read more

My friend said she's never eaten at Wendy's ever. So when we left a show late and this was the only thing that seemed open, we went over. Looked at the hours: "Dining Room 12Am". So we go over. locked. Lady comes out says they're closed. Uh says 12 AM. Employee: "You can go through the drive through" Us: "Why does it say 12AM on the sign?" Employee: "that's the drive thru" Us: "That says Dining Room" Employee: "sorry go through the drive thru" Us: "We're not driving, do we stand in line with the cars?!?" Employee: "Have someone buy something for you" Us: "fuck this place" read more

Wendy's came thru big time last i was here. though the line was almost 10 deep. i ordered within 5-10 minutes and the order came about a minute later. eats: 1/4 lb. single with cheese(3.69) -came with buttered bun, crinkled pickles, "sweet red onions", lettuce mayo, mustard... -order med. rare. seems they don't do it this way, receipt had no indication of this. burger came out medium and was very tender. very similar to in & out's burger. crumbs: -fast, efficient service -smiles from a few yound ladies. -semibusiness crowd, no hassles at all. -early afternoon, not evenings. read more

I went to this Wendy's, ordered my food thru the drive through. I got to the window and they told me it's gonna be a wait. So I parked in the parking lot and sat there for 10 minutes before bringing my food out. Food was cold and on top of that wasn't even the right burger I ordered. I asked if I can get some sauce and told me to go back thru the drive through in order to get that sauce. They never asked if I wanted sauce at the drive thru while I was there in the first place. Very poor customer service. As soon as I got home the fresh cookies I also ordered were hard as a rock. How is that fresh? And how am I supposed to bite into a rock? Very very poor service. I'm never going here again. AND ON TOP OF THAT my bacon jalapeño cheeseburgers meat tasted bad. As if it was old, rotten. No good. Just the worst experience I have ever had at Wendy's. read more

"Wendy's chocolate Frosties make me happy ..." as John Denver might have sung back in the day. I appreciate how clean this place is. I also appreciate that the customers all looked like upstanding and gainfully employed citizens on their lunch breaks, and not the riff-raff that usually gathers at other restaurants I'm fond of. read more

I love Wendy's. But this location sucks. There is always a problem with my order. And I always make excuses for them, like "you hate your job. It's okay you didn't give me sauce for my nuggets." But one day I came here, and it's made me petty enough to write this review. I came here during my hour lunch break. I went through the drive thru. When it was my turn they asked for a moment. I said it was okay. I can be patient. I've worked in food service before. But 3 minutes passed and I didn't hear anything. Then I get another "one moment" and then another 3 minutes passed and the people behind me start honking. I yell back "it's not me!!" Which the person on the intercom says "we're doing a shift change. We're in the middle of a shift change" then after a minute they start taking my order. I was getting lunch for myself and for a few coworkers. The problem is that I ordered a 10 pc spicy nugget meal band then I ordered two value nuggets. I asked for ranch, bbq and honey mustard. Btw, the person finishing my transaction at the window didn't say one word to me. Just took my card and gave me my food. No apologies for making me wait to take my order or anything. I wasn't angry or anything. I had to rush back to work though because it took me 30 minutes to go there, order and come back. I work 5 blocks away. But when I got back to my workplace, they didn't include bbq sauce. I apologized to my coworkers for forgetting their bbq. I only got upset when i was eating my spicy nuggets, I reached to the last few nuggets and I noticed they FREAKING GAVE ME REGULAR NUGGETS. WHY? DID YOU GUYS RUN OUT? I wasn't angry at the fact that I had them. IM FREAKING UPSET THAT NOBODY WANTED TO SAY ANYTHING. all it took was "so we don't have enough spicy nuggets for your combo, is regular nuggets okay?" And I would have freaking said sure. Now you guys made me petty enough to write a review and tell ALL my coworkers. And never let it be lived down. WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER. read more

Went to the drive-through on a slow Tuesday night, and did not expect it to be this complicated. Asked for a sprite, received tasteless carbonated water. Asked for ranch, and they instead gave sweet and sour. Wanted cheese and no onions for my chili, got no cheese with onions. It's one thing to mess up on a single part of the order, but the entire thing? read more

This Wendy's is absolutely awful! Everything was wrong and I mean EVERYTHING!! First the drive-thru line was long and slow. Second I speak very clearly but it took three tries to make a simple order and then it was still wrong on the screen so I gave up. Third the order was completely messed up -- for example I ordered a "Baconator" but it had NO bacon. Fourth the burger was crushed, mutilated, foul and rancid and the fries were burnt -- I had to throw it all away -- especially the burger I had to spit out the meat tasted funny like it had sat out too long. You can see a picture of my sad burger before I bit into it and almost puked. Finally the milk was Ultra-Pasteurized which for a place like wendy's that goes on and on about how the food is fresh seemed really strange... This refers specifically to my visit at around 11PM on Friday 8/5/11. read more

Terrible service. Not only was the inside dead seems like so we're the employees. The worst customer service. Can the owner of this franchise fire everyone and hire people that actually want to work. Zero customer service, I stood waiting for them to take my order. There was no hey welcome or can I take your order not even I'll be right with you. Everyone looked miserable and if you hate your job that much just quit. Finally when I was asked for my order the guy refused to give me what I ask for. I've been to tons of Wendy's and never had a problem. The least this guy could've done was charge me extra or an upgrade but he just plain refused to switch my fries for a baked potato. Via doorDash, I added the same item twice instead of just clicking 2x so they would see "NO MAYO" labeled for each item...but nope. They were double ignorant and gave mayo on both. Two stars because at least the food is served hot. They have maaaaddd rats running across that place, especially at night. I suppose it's expected being by the train track? Idk but it's scary. Pretty sure one tried to jump and take the food out my hand but I digress. read more

I come here about once a week, maybe every other week, for lunch. Service is good, fast, attentive ... salads have always been fresh. Only one bad experience with my food, when I clearly saw all the SALT on one side of my chicken nuggets. Not sure how that happened. I got the baconator with a single patty instead of the double patty making the burger a dollar less. The single patty baconator isn't on the menu fyi you just have to ask for it. I'm surprised by the recent poor reviews for this Wendy's. I've been to this location 5 times in the last 6 months, and they're always efficient and the order is right every time. The fries each time have been fresh! I have to say I wasn't honestly expecting such quality food or consistency from a fast food place, but I got to give to this Wendy's. Kudos San Leandro Wendy's. 30 bucks for 3 meals and 2 bowls of chilli? Wow, Wendy's have stepped up their game. As food prices escalate, we have to wonder how much are we getting for $7 dollars - the average cost of a small meal you get from Wendy's. For the same price, you can get a bowl of wonton noodles or get two tea time snack plates from Chinatown. But Wendy's is not alone. A big-mac meal is pretty much the same cost in McDonalds, and so is the Jumbo Jack meal from Jack-in-the-Box. If it wasn't for the convenience, I'd go elsewhere. I wish there were gourmet food trucks close to where I work, but since there isn't, Wendy's is still on my go-to list. Some days I still miss Dave. His commercials felt sincere. read more

Disrespectful people. Bad customer service. After waiting 10 mins with no one in front of me I ordered and they didn't even place my order. I went up and they used my card and paid for someone else's meal. This girl with no name tag and a giant birth mark or mole in between her eyes came to the window and yelled at me stating did I order or just drive past. I said yes I did. As I doctor I don't need to be disrespected that way over their mistake. I'm going to make sure this person is fired treating customer like that over their mistakes. I won't ever go back to this place. There are rats outside running around and they leave their door open and the rats can access the kitchen. read more

I like Wendy's salads, but this location is one of the worse that I have patronized. I ordered two, full-size Chicken Mango Strawberry salads through the drive-thru. The service was slow and I was anxious to leave, I did not thoroughly check my order. Of course, when I arrived home the order was wrong, they had given me two Chicken Mozzarella salads. I called the location to see if we could resolve over the phone, maybe get a discount on the next visit, or something. Instead of discussing, the clerk put me on hold for the manager, about 4 minutes later, someone hung up the phone. I then, returned to the location with the salads and asked for a refund. No apology, no eye contact, nothing. The manager, Maria, did refund the 14.90. Customer service does not seem to be a priority at this location. read more

Went to the drive-through and received soggy french fries so had to go inside to get fresh ones cause that's what I mainly came for. I don't understand how hard it can be to get a burger without mayo. I ordered a Baconator combo with NO mayo. I drive all the way home, open the wrapper, and see mayo. My sister and I were hungry after a fun filled evening at the Oakland Art Murmur. I was driving her back to Pleasanton and took a short cut through San Leandro. I knew just the spot to get us a quick bite. I used to come here for lunch when I worked in San Leandro. The service was sporadic and my drive through orders were always messed up. I invented the protein burger before In-n-Out was ever around. Poor Wendy's was then place I went to request more lettuce on my burger. They were always confused. This time it was kids meals and regular cheese burger for me and a chicken sandwich for my sister. The kids fries were cold. As expected. Our fries were not the greatest. But my burger was good. This location sucks. Beware when you order because on some items, such as the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, the prices are different and you get charged a higher price. On a recent afternoon I went to get lunch for me and the family and ordered Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers (priced at $1.29 on the drive thru menu) and on the screen it came up to be $1.99. I asked why the price difference and they said to proceed to the window. When I got my receipt it said $1.99 and explained to the cashier that on the menu it is $1.29. She supposedly sent someone to check the menu and it said $1.99. Until a couple days ago, it had only vaguely registered that there was a Wendy's anywhere nearby. Then my 15 year old cousin, who eats exactly 25 things, came to visit...so I've been twice. It's a Wendy's. It gives me vague flashbacks to going there with Beth C. during band camp in high school. Everything is pretty much how I remembered - except there are vanilla frosties now...and the frosties seem more like ice cream than they were back in the day. Or maybe it's just my memory. Frosties are supposed to be chocolate - and not used in shakes or floats...it's just supposed to be a frosty. ..and that my friends is why I'm starting to feel old - I have back in the day stories about frosties...sigh...and cousins come to visit me as a "grown up" read more

3 stars only because -Thank you to the manager on shift tonight for refunding my order. Went to Wendy's because I'm sick and didn't want to cook. This Wendy's had several employees see my co workers and myself walk from our job site to come get breakfast and sat around for 15 minutes before opening after no one even looked our way. We stayed there for 10 minutes after they were supposedly opening, plenty more workers walked by the door again without acknowledging us. A manager being one of them. We then asked the lady outside washing the floor why they wouldn't open the door and she couldn't give us a reason before walking a way we peeked in one more time to see a worker eating their own breakfast and having no intention to greet us or find someone to greet us. I would give 0 starts if possible will tell all other trades at the job they aren't blue collar friendly. read more

Quick service last time I went. The employees were on fire. Anyway, I stopped in for lunch one day. The front counter has room for completed orders on the left, a tall soda fountain in the middle, and the registers on the right. Walked up to the lady at the register and began reciting my order. Strangely, she had a microphone, which was linked to speakers around the kitchen, next to her register and repeated my words into it like a referee. Thus, whatever I'm telling her, I'm pretty much telling everyone in the kitchen. Grabbed my change, stepped aside, and waited for my order to be assembled. But BAM! It was already done. Trust me, it's a spooky sight when you're used to waiting a few minutes for your food to come out. Sat down and ate. There was smooth jazz playing in the background, but instead, I listened to the orders of incoming customers that the register lady was delivering to the microphone: "No onions, no cheese? And one Jr. Cheeseburger Deluxe. Okay." read more
