I went to this Wendy's, ordered my food thru the drive through. I got to the window and they told me it's gonna be a wait. So I parked in the parking lot and sat there for 10 minutes before bringing my food out. Food was cold and on top of that wasn't even the right burger I ordered. I asked if I can get some sauce and told me to go back thru the drive through in order to get that sauce. They never asked if I wanted sauce at the drive thru while I was there in the first place. Very poor customer service. As soon as I got home the fresh cookies I also ordered were hard as a rock. How is that fresh? And how am I supposed to bite into a rock? Very very poor service. I love Wendy's. But this location sucks. There is always a problem with my order. And I always make excuses for them, like "you hate your job. It's okay you didn't give me sauce for my nuggets." But one day I came here, and it's made me petty enough to write this review. I came here during my hour lunch break. I went through the drive thru. When it was my turn they asked for a moment. I said it was okay. I can be patient. I've worked in food service before. But 3 minutes passed and I didn't hear anything. Then I get another "one moment" and then another 3 minutes passed and the people behind me start honking. I yell back "it's not me!!" Which the person on the intercom says "we're doing a shift change. We're in the middle of a shift change" then after a minute they start taking my order. I was getting lunch for myself and for a few coworkers. The problem is that I ordered a 10 pc spicy nugget meal band then I ordered two value nuggets. I asked for ranch, bbq and honey mustard. Btw, the person finishing my transaction at the window didn't say one word to me. Just took my card and gave me my food. No apologies for making me wait to take my order or anything. I wasn't angry or anything. I had to rush back to work though because it took me 30 minutes to go there, order and come back. I work 5 blocks away. But when I got back to my workplace, they didn't include bbq sauce. I apologized to my coworkers for forgetting their bbq. I only got upset when i was eating my spicy nuggets, I reached to the last few nuggets and I noticed they FREAKING GAVE ME REGULAR NUGGETS. WHY? DID YOU GUYS RUN OUT? This Wendy's is absolutely awful! Everything was wrong and I mean EVERYTHING!! First the drive-thru line was long and slow. Second I speak very clearly but it took three tries to make a simple order and then it was still wrong on the screen so I gave up. Third the order was completely messed up -- for example I ordered a "Baconator" but it had NO bacon. Fourth the burger was crushed, mutilated, foul and rancid and the fries were burnt -- I had to throw it all away -- especially the burger I had to spit out the meat tasted funny like it had sat out too long. You can see a picture of my sad burger before I bit into it and almost puked. Finally the milk was Ultra-Pasteurized which for a place like wendy's that goes on and on about how the food is fresh seemed really strange... 30 bucks for 3 meals and 2 bowls of chilli? Wow, Wendy's have stepped up their game. As food prices escalate, we have to wonder how much are we getting for $7 dollars - the average cost of a small meal you get from Wendy's. For the same price, you can get a bowl of wonton noodles or get two tea time snack plates from Chinatown. But Wendy's is not alone. A big-mac meal is pretty much the same cost in McDonalds, and so is the Jumbo Jack meal from Jack-in-the-Box. If it wasn't for the convenience, I'd go elsewhere. I like Wendy's salads, but this location is one of the worse that I have patronized. I ordered two, full-size Chicken Mango Strawberry salads through the drive-thru. The service was slow and I was anxious to leave, I did not thoroughly check my order. Of course, when I arrived home the order was wrong, they had given me two Chicken Mozzarella salads. I called the location to see if we could resolve over the phone, maybe get a discount on the next visit, or something. Instead of discussing, the clerk put me on hold for the manager, about 4 minutes later, someone hung up the phone. I then, returned to the location with the salads and asked for a refund. This location sucks. Beware when you order because on some items, such as the Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, the prices are different and you get charged a higher price. On a recent afternoon I went to get lunch for me and the family and ordered Jr. Bacon Cheeseburgers (priced at $1.29 on the drive thru menu) and on the screen it came up to be $1.99. I asked why the price difference and they said to proceed to the window. When I got my receipt it said $1.99 and explained to the cashier that on the menu it is $1.29. She supposedly sent someone to check the menu and it said $1.99. This Wendy's had several employees see my co workers and myself walk from our job site to come get breakfast and sat around for 15 minutes before opening after no one even looked our way. We stayed there for 10 minutes after they were supposedly opening, plenty more workers walked by the door again without acknowledging us. A manager being one of them. We then asked the lady outside washing the floor why they wouldn't open the door and she couldn't give us a reason before walking a way we peeked in one more time to see a worker eating their own breakfast and having no intention to greet us or find someone to greet us. My sister and I were hungry after a fun filled evening at the Oakland Art Murmur. I was driving her back to Pleasanton and took a short cut through San Leandro. I knew just the spot to get us a quick bite. I used to come here for lunch when I worked in San Leandro. The service was sporadic and my drive through orders were always messed up. I invented the protein burger before In-n-Out was ever around. Poor Wendy's was then place I went to request more lettuce on my burger. They were always confused. This time it was kids meals and regular cheese burger for me and a chicken sandwich for my sister. The kids fries were cold. As expected. Our fries were not the greatest. But my burger was good. Until a couple days ago, it had only vaguely registered that there was a Wendy's anywhere nearby. Then my 15 year old cousin, who eats exactly 25 things, came to visit...so I've been twice. It's a Wendy's. It gives me vague flashbacks to going there with Beth C. during band camp in high school. Everything is pretty much how I remembered - except there are vanilla frosties now...and the frosties seem more like ice cream than they were back in the day. Or maybe it's just my memory.
