I have been to the salem ohio location twice in the last two weeks with a bad experience both times . The first time they told me they could not accept a $50 for a $30 dollar order because they could not make change . Last night I waited 15min after going through the drive through. The staff was rude and handed me a bag of food that was stone cold I demanded my cash back after chastising the entire staff. After reading online complaints about this store I would have to say it is seriously mismanaged. Corporate needs to look into this location and get it fixed. read more

Serve some workers are always nice the food is always fresh the weights never too long but I was in there not long ago and there were people sitting down eating and one of the workers came out and she started sweeping the floor with a broom like whipping up dust everywhere just ignorant I mean common sense other than that it's pretty decent fast food plus who wants circle burgers all the time. read more

so to start off the service from the employee at the counter good and was very nice but there manager was extremely rude to everyone and throwing things around. She had no remorse for the presence of customers and ignored the fact we were trying to place an order. If you notice, the rest of the reviews are fairly old. So even though they were not good, we decided to take a chance and eat here. I had a baked potato, and bowl of chili. My husband had a single hamburger. The service was slow, but it was lunchtime Sunday, and the restaurant was crowded. Our food was fresh, hot, and delicious. We had no complaints. I would choose Wendy's over any fast food joint. That being said, I'd choose anywhere over this particular Wendy's. I give it so many chances, and it's always bad for one reason or another. It always takes forever to get your food and sometimes forever just to order. This is probably due to low staffing or lack of training. I can get past that, sure. What I can't is how no matter who is working, they're always rude. And the food I get is always cold. Waiting for food often means it's being prepared, why is it cold? Really sucks because I would seriously choose Wendy's every time, but the problems outweigh my desires. read more

There was one lady working, doing absolutely everythin. The drive thru line had 4 cars infront of us and 2 behind. She worked her butt off to get everyone's order in and was so kind. Though the wait was long it was worth it. The food was great. Props to her for being able to manage everything alone. All I wanted was a fresh crispy chicken sandwich. What I got was a dried up chicken breast that was so dry I couldn't swallow out while eating. Fries were just as bad. Into the trash. They just need to get their hours they are open for business straightened out. Don't try to go get any food from them after 10. They close up shop early to get out of there early even though they are supposed to be open still. They looked at me through the window and ignored me! On a Saturday night at 10:30!! This place is always very fresh everybody's very nice and the outside and inside is clean. They're often very busy so it's mostly slow but with the freshest well worth it. My only complaint here is that the chili is quite runny. So i gave it four stars because the chili is very important. read more

While the food and interior of the restaurant is no worse than any other Wendy's location, the service here is lacking quite a bit. During peak lunch hour is the only time the restaurant seems to be fully staffed. If you go any other time, expect to wait for 30 min or more. I have had to leave twice because I had waited 20 minutes or more before an employee had even taken my order. Just a note, this wasn't because there was a long line of customers. Absolutely the slowest and unfriendly of any wendy's I've ever been through. You pull up at the DT, and somehow they make you believe you are bothering them! After an extremely LONG, awkward wait at the speaker, I finally get to order my bottled water and frosty. Slowest Wendy's I have ever been too. First time after they reopened, you go get your drink come back to the counter ask if your bag is good to go and the lady tells you I don't know I didn't pack it!! Second time waited in line ten minutes as they waited on two customers lady in front of me walks out, still standing there in front of the register no one says anything with a line of people behind me, I ended up walking out. This USED to be my favorite fast food restaurant. However, everything has declined about it. The accuracy of an order is the most obvious. Anytime I have patronized this Wendy's in the last couple years, my order has been incorrect. One time, the servers stood at the drive through and "verified" my order, so I didn't double check it, and when I arrived home, I was missing an item. Just 2 days ago, they couldn't handle making a hamburger; they put cheese on it. This is a common problem for me. In addition, the bun was stale. I paid extra for bacon on my sandwich, and they put one strip of bacon on it. The customer service is pretty much nonexistent. They rarely greet nicely or thank me as a customer although I am always pleasant and use friendly greetings, "please," and "thank you" multiple times during an order.
