Worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant. During rush-hour, the manager watered the floor with soapy water. The floor was wet the entire 35 to 40 minutes I was there. She didn't mop it dry like you do when you dry mop floors, she just scrub brushed it with a deck brush, spreading the soapy water over the entire floor directly in front of the cash registers. I saw people slipping, but luckily, nobody fell because they could have gotten hurt.....all because of her inappropriately "cleaning" the floors during rush-hour. And the food was bad. When orders were falling behind, she didn't even go back and help, even though she could see that it was chaotic and people were waiting 10 to 15 minutes for their orders. I heard one of the employees say that one order was completely skipped and missed. Also, the profanity her and the employees were yelling at each other, even though there were little kids there, was just unacceptable! I actually did something that I've never done before and I never thought I would be compelled enough to do. I called Corporate and made a claim and the lady said she was fast tracking it to upper management to make sure that this is addressed. And I hope it gets addressed because I love Wendy's, and customers should not have to go through shenanigans like this while they try to get their meals. This left me speechless. I will continue to go to Wendy's as it's my favorite burger joint, but I definitely will not go back to this one!!!! read more

I'm exhausted and gonna keep it simple. 1. Got my order wrong. 2. Yelled at me to go around and order again, and when I asked if it was necessary sweared at me and slammed the window. 3. After she ranted, a coworker of her gave me a rushed cold burger. 4. The same lady comes back right after I get my burger and says " now he will f------- leave. Ok, I live less than 1/2 mile from this Wendy's. I thought I would give it a try since it is so close. You know now that they guarantee hot fries. First, I waited far to long for a fast food drive thru but I figured cut them some slack they are probably having a tough time getting help. I finally make it to the window. The only kid working is the one at the drive thru. There were 3-4 other kids standing around inside bullshitting and on their cell phones. I get my food and pull out. I reach not the bag to get my HOT fries. They weren't and I wasn't going back to sit thru that line again to get hot FOOD. I could have kicked myself in the ass for spending the money on this bag of cold garbage. I won't go back to this one again. If I want Wendy's I will drive to Rocky River or North Olmsted or I'll just stay home and cook my own burger. read more

I've been to this location twice in the past two weeks and I love their frosties and frostycino (coffee with vanilla soft serve in it). So so so good! Their junior burger is a little dry tbh and not exciting at all. When I went the first time I brought my dog. Three employees came to the take out window to look at him and complimented on how pretty he is and gave him dog biscuits. I thought that was so cute. one evening, all I wanted was a Wendy's #1 combo. I had ordered one a few months ago and loved it. I went to the wendys nearest me because it was on my way home. I waited for what seemed like forever in the drive through line and finally got out of line to go into the store...which was locked. apparently there was no one working inside the restaurant and the line just sat there. as I was leaving I noticed a couple of Wendy's employees trying to jump a car in the parking lot and assumed they were supposed to be in the store. I then drove to the Wendy's in Rocky River and the line was also extraordinarily long and slow. as I got to the window I was not at all pleased with the unsanitary appearance of the 2 workers operating the entire store. Even though I like the single burger I will not return to Wendy's again for awhile until conditions improve. read more

The service here is always friendly and never forgets your order. As for food quality, it's all over the place as one would expect for fast food. Sometimes the fries are salted, sometimes they are completely dried out, other times they are mushy. The burgers are similar, one day soggy, another day too dry, then no condiments, etc. The one standout food item is, and has always been, the chicken nuggets. They are always great. My main gripe with this location is that there is a 20+ minute wait for the drive-thru at all times of day. So do not stop here if you are in a hurry. Overall, it's been a consistently good Wendy's and this is the first one to get my order correct over 95% of the time. read more

The Wendy's in Rocky River has been getting increasingly worse but tonight was so bad I had to write this review. I ordered a jr bacon cheeseburger, small fry, a large Diet Coke and a small chocolate frosty. I pulled up to silence... probably close to 90 seconds with nothing, I was at the point of saying "Bueller" when I finally got a "go ahead" The kid at the window was acting like he was on something, his hair was all over the place and shaggy as hell (I hope he doesn't work near the food) he couldn't figure out how to open the window so that took him a while to get some assistance, paid, got the food. First, the burger... ICE COLD! So cold the cheese came off in 1 piece. The bun was so stale it crumbled when I picked it up, the whole thing was covered in mayonnaise. I tried to give it to my dog and he wouldn't even eat it. Fries, soggy & cold as I expected because I can't remember when the last time I had decent fries from there. Been to this location numerous times, the service depends on which day you go and the how the staffing is for the day. When you order something and they don't have everything you want, they should tell the person off the bat, not wait til the order is done and then tell you no chili cause they ran out so, you get a taco salad w/o chili. This might be the worst Wendy's I've ever been to. The staff is not at all friendly or welcoming. The girl at the drive-through was not capable of taking an order and collecting money at the same time so there was only one person passed the ordering station at a time and the drive-through was completely backed up. If she was not capable of running the drive-through they should've had someone else assisting her. The quality of food is not nearly what it should be for a Wendy's. Don't ever pull away from the window without checking your order! Never, ever correct. Why have I gone back 3 times in the last 6 months? Because you would think the law of averages would be on your side! When I checked today, and returned the wrong order (it was absolutely correct on the ordering screen and absolutely wrong in the bag) I was first told I ordered incorrectly (blame the customer, isn't that the rule?) and then had to deal with a condescending, almost mocking, manager. This used to be my go-to fast food option. Never again! Last few times drive thru line took 20+ mins. Today the entrance is blocked due to snowplow build up then the line @12:02 was ten cars deep. Line did not move for easily 10 minutes. I got out of line to go in and order. Simple order chili and small fry. Had to wait to be asked for order another 5 mins then once I got my order driving away realized both the chili and fries were cold. Don't know what happened to this establishment but I am done and willing to tell everyone to stay away. Either poor management or lack of staff but both are recipes for failure. Usually enjoy getting my wendys breakfast every once in a while and usually the people at the window are super nice and engage with you but this morning this woman with all these piercings on her face took my order, was super rude about it. When I got up to the window she said my total was 20 something dollars for two combos??? So I asked her and she said yea it's 20 for 3 combos when I had only said 2 number 3's. This girl was not listening. Then when she closed the window she continued to talk shit to her coworkers saying I had said 3, I literally could hear the whole thing . I visit this Wendy's (Center Ridge Road-Rocky River Ohio) around 10:30 a.m. a couple of weeks ago and there were two employees sitting in the seating area and I asked them is it too early to order a salad to go and the one employee told me that he was preparing the grilled chicken and would be ready if I did not mind waiting 10 minutes which I agreed to. Unfortunately, after waiting 20 minutes, the employee disappeared and I went to the counter and there was another employee standing there and I told him that I was going to order a salad and was told that the grilled chicken would had been ready 20 minutes ago by another employee. This employee went to the back for a couple of minutes and came back to tell me that I would have to wait an additional 20 minutes. I told him okay but I also wanted to order a breakfast Baconator sandwich to go as well. Needless to say that after waiting all that time...when I received my order ...everything was incorrect. Instead of receiving a salad..I received a bacon cheeseburger and and a grilled chicken sandwich. When I informed the counter employee that the order was totally wrong..he immediately got an attitude and told me that he did not hear me make the initial order and thought I asked for the sandwiches. I was so upset after waiting all of that time and to receive this attitude from the counter guy...I just left and contacted the website when I got home but have not heard anything regarding my experience at this restaurant...furthermore...I had made a promise to myself not to visit that restaurant again if that's the way they treat customers. I went with a group to order some frostys for a fun night out and when we pulled up to the microphone the worker took 10 minutes to take our order! We ordered 3 frostys!! We pulled up to pay and he messed up the card payment. We ended up not paying and blaming it on his worker and making him pay for it! We offered to just pay in cash but he started to get a tone with us and was being very difficult. What a horrible man! We didn't even get our full order, and what we did get was absolutely not what we ordered! The managers name was kansas and when we tried calling the store to talk to the poor worker that this all got blamed on, Kansas picked up the phone, asked who we were, and hung up on us! Since the renovation, calling this fast food is a joke. I had no wait to make the order, it took almost 20 minutes to do 2 kids meals and 2 cheeseburger meals. This place is terrible! Went inside to place my order. The order was wrong. I paid by credit card and she refunded the difference in cash. What? When I got home it looked like someone stepped on my burger. Food and fries were cold. Like ice cold. At 4:45 on a Saturday night I expected better. I filled out the survey relating my bad experience and told them to contact me. Three days later and no word. Then I read all the bad reviews here, and wonder what is going on.
