First, I agree with what many others have said here - this is the wrong environment for Denville. You're walking into an industrial setting. The raised roof reveals some rough edges to the top of the bathroom and above the kitchen, both of which feature various objects stored on those tops. Really poor design unless you're a test kitchen. And design alone wouldn't be enough to deduct a star, except the service was a bit of an issue. There were only two staff present, and they were both cooks, which means one of them had to stop cooking every time a customer had a request. Service was still fairly quick and friendly, but I really can't think of another time I have experienced something like this. One star will be given back with either of the above reductions fixed. If all is fixed... I will come back, order an actual burger with actual (upcharged) cheese on my fries, and reconsider.
