I have been here a few times now and have witnessed the same things every time. This is a messy location with low cleanliness standards, inefficient kitchen systems, and there's no real interest in customer service. But I do not blame the employees. They have at least been friendly, and I do see some hard workers on the staff. My issue with this location, falls solely on the franchisee. You can berate employees all you want for things I've seen here like carrying around personal alcohol mixer bottles in the kitchen, cussing around customers, and lack of speed. But these are issues that stem from ownership. You pay Wendy's, they give you their world class business system that has worked in thousands upon thousands of instances. The least you could do is enforce the standards that are known to work. They're not a secret, they're all there for you. It is the enforcement of these standards that will make your employees better, your restaurant better, and your own profits better. This restaurant is on McKnight Rd. There are dozens of other food options on this strip, and if these poor standards keep up, why on earth would you come to this location? Almost 50 reviews here and an average rating of 1.7. I have ordered food from this Wendy's restaurant probably dozens of times over several years. Of course, like any fast-food restaurant, this restaurant has frequent turnover of employees, but the quality of the service and the taste of the food has been fairly consistent. Today my husband and I went through the drive-thru to order our burgers, french fries, salad, and drink. The employee who took our order did not understand what my husband was saying through the microphone, so my husband corrected her. I appreciate that the employee did not have an attitude. The employees processed our payment and handed over our food within a couple of minutes during the busy rush hour. My husband's burger was prepared as requested without tomatoes, and the rest of our order was accurate as well. We ate our food at home, and we enjoyed the taste. read more

I'm not sure why this Wendy's has such poor reviews. This location is much better than the one over in Lawrenceville. The staff was friendly and our order came quickly. It was around lunch time and the drive thru looked busy as usual so we ate dine in. I look for a few things when judging a fast food dine in experience: friendliness, cleanliness, and time spent waiting for order. This one was relatively clean with the exception of a few pieces of trash on the floor. The cashier greeted us quickly and took our order. When our food was ready the lady that brought it out was nice as well. My sandwich was impeccably made. First time I've had a decent fast food sandwich. I got the spicy chicken. Wendy's is probably one of my favorite fast food locations and I was not disappointed at this one. read more

What can you say about a fast food joint that you haven't heard/said/read before? Not much, right? We were out running around and attempting to find things to do and we needed to eat. We were tired of debating back and forth with one another and kind of gave up on that fight and ended up here. My better half isn't a huge fan of Wendy's, but he caved as the restaurants were starting to look all the same. I do have to hand it to them inside, they definitely were fast at just about everything. From ordering to prepping our food, there wasn't much of a wait. Can't really talk much about the food as it is the norm basically everywhere you find a Wendy's. This was a generally a clean spot so that was nice. We sat near the fireplace thing that most Wendy's now have. Not sure what exactly that is suppose to do in here as it didn't seem to give off heat. Or maybe that was because we were near the huge windows. Some of the seating looks a tad bit uncomfortable to enjoy a meal in. I am generally a fan of Wendy's as there food is better than McDonald's. I went in and ordered 2 hamburgers with no cheese and extra extra pickle and a large fry no salt. There was no line and it took forever for the order. The service was ok the cashier was friendly. I had ordered it to go and I got to my car to eat the burger and noticed cheese on it and no pickles. The cashier did not listen at all and got the order wrong I went back in with order and told them that it was supposed to be extra extra pickle and no cheese. I also said for them to make the fries over as they would be iced cold by the time i ate them. The cashier called over another person maybe a supervisor and they gave me a dirty look and came over and said what was wrong with fries. I said nothing except that you got the order for the hamburgers wrong and by the time you make 2 more the fries will be cold. She took the bag of fries and tossed them in the garbage angrily. Finally got my order and it was correct. The food is good and I love the fries. I have to be honest as much as I like Wendy's I will never go in this location again. My last two visits here featured crazy slow service, untidy floors and tables, and staff people standing around doing nothing. I had to wonder if there was even a manager on duty. My most recent carry-out order was for a burger, a chicken sandwich and a salad. The burger and chicken were made quickly... then it sat for five minutes waiting for someone to grab a salad, the dressing, and put it in a bag. It was the same person who was doing everything but the cashier job while three others stood there looking at their phones or watching fries cooking. Oh, and one trainee who was actually working changing the trash bags in the bins. If they were short-staffed, I'd be understanding.
