Been having a bad run lately with fast food places around here, not opening on time, not caring etc. I was planning on just going to the BK, but I saw lights on here and wondered if they had breakfast too( places like here and Taco Bell advertise breakfast but the locations I've seen aren't open then)...so I figured I'd try here since I never actually had Wendy's for breakfast. This Wendy's is clean inside and out. I went inside because the drive through as always is crowded and slow. It. Ay not be Wendy's fault but the parking lot entrance is dark and the drive through somewhat dangerous and difficult to navigate. The young lady at the counter was very nice and she moved quickly. I just left this location. I pulled into the drive thru at 2:30 about 30 min before they close. When I stated my order to the girl on the incom she said they didn't have any fries. Or burgers. She went through a short list of what I could get. So after I decided on a value chicken sandwich. I pulled around to the window. I politely asked the girl if she could add on a drink for me. This is when things Took a turn for the worse. The girl said you people don't care about whether I have to get off of work. I get off at 3 AM and now you're ordering something else? I responded saying I didn't mean any disrespect I was just trying to add a soda to my order. She then began to go into a cussing rant about how she had three kids and told me what to do with myself. I am so confused about this interaction. I was polite during the whole process; and for this girl in the drive-through to unleash Hateful tirade. Using I hate speech. This was unbelievable me and my friend were shocked and said To just cancel the food. Out of concern of our order being spat in. The manager came to the window and told me to 'drive the f-ck on f-gg-t'. I wouldn't believe this if it didn't happen to me. I wish I had time to get on my phone to record the interaction because not only did I apologize for inconveniencing her by adding a soda on at the window but I apologize for her stressful night. When I come to Philadelphia, for some strange reason I have a hard time finding places to eat. One place I can always rely on is Good Ole Wendy's. During my recent visit I ordered a 10 pc chicken nugget combo. The nuggets were dry, spongey, and lukewarm. The fries were soggy. When I ordered the nuggets the employee asked "what's yo sauce!" I was caught off guard and confused for a moment and I said what?, "what's yo sauce !!" she demanded. then it clicked. I said my sauce is Sweet and sour!, and then she stated "what's yo soda!!" I came to this location after leaving the airport, the manager asked us what we wanted and then after asking us she called another young lady over to take our order(please don't ask why) so I had to repeat myself! While I was waiting for my food a young man came to fill the lemonade up not having any gloves on(BACTERIA!!!!). Then once I got my food my fries were not filled up and some sticky stuff on the box. Asking the young lady for another fry she took it to the manager and the manger dumped the fries with the rest of the fries and scooped up the same fries! I'm not sure what the trainings like for this location, however it needs to be revisited!! read more

Took 21 minutes to even place order - we were maybe fifth in line? No ice at the drink machine. All ALL sodas in one machine were empty, and several in the other. No ketchup packets at the bar. Dirty tables. Full trash can. Full staff, zero smiles, seemed very inconvenienced at having customers. Guy on the register couldn't count out change even with the amount right there on the screen. Didn't give entire order to us and had to go back and ask for the rest. Fries were cold. Took an additional 15 minutes to get food after ordering. Mostly cold burger. Just a circus of ineptitude. Well, cleanliness is not on the menu at this Wendy's. The restaurant is nearly brand new, but the floors are so greasy that your not walking, more like sliding across the dining room floor.. No napkins, no lids at the drink station. Service ..... Really,,, line nearly to the door and one person at the front counter. Plenty of employees back of the house cleaning but no one taking care of the customers out front. A Wendy's has been here for years, however, they somewhat recently tore it down, and built a new one from the ground up. Looks more like a Chipotle, or a Qdoba then a Wendy's. They even have Starbucks style couches to sit on. Nicest Wendy's I have ever been to. The food, unfortunately, is typical Wendy's. Wendy's for the kids out there USED to have great burgers. Great. Then in the 1990's sometime, they went downhill. Maybe when Dave himself passed away? Dunno. Since the area is close to the airport, and the airport hotels, I should throw in to the out-of-town visitors looking for a quick fast-food filling, that this Wendy's is in a safe, almost suburban type neighborhood. read more

Waited at the drive thru window for 5 minutes in silence, then ordered a grilled chicken sandwich and a frosty. Paid, was given my frosty with no straw and was asked to pull into a parking spot to wait for my sandwich. After 10 minutes of waiting in the car with a melting frosty, I had to get out of the car and stand outside to wait for someone to bring out my food because the door was locked at 9:30! Really? Wendys is wendys. A cheap, fast food chain with a just "okay" selection for food on the go. The reason I gave THIS wendys such a high rating is because I live around the corner from this one. I get done work late most nights and every time I go to this particular wendy's i am always greeted with such great attitudes and even though the food is just "okay" i would so rather go here for the great energy, rather then mcdonalds or burger king any day. read more
