Went for breakfast last weekend. Sausage biscuit-- pretty sure it was from the day before, dry biscuit and all. Cold brew-- was informed they didn't have the creamer for it, was asked to pick another drink. Waited 12+ minutes for a bacon egg and cheese biscuit so at least that was warm.... Now I know why they don't provide a receipt when they give you your food. It's so you can't get their store # to file a complaint. Of course, maybe they are jacking up the price if you are using a debit card. Additionally, they don't speak up when they tell you the cost mumble mumble mumble The buns were stale, the tomatoes were bad, the meat was cold, and there was so much mayo, and ketchup on the sandwich that it dripped through the wrapper. This place started out good but is a waste of space at this point. Just now I ordered a burger and two chicken sandwiches. No special requests on them or anything. One sandwich was completely left out and the burger and sandwich I did get weren't even close to being made right. I can't even remember what number of messing up my order this is. Another thing is that the website says they're open till midnight but around 8 pm every night I tried to go "the system is down". Also every time I gone up there employees are always standing around or talking outside. From now on I'll drive the extra 15 minutes if I feel like Wendy's. read more

I wasn't going to be a "Karen" about my experience with Wendy's Oakland last night but after the way it was handled I thought better of it! So we attempted to get supper there last night, as usual they were slow but I chose to go there so I was just dealing with that fact. Fast forward I took the first bite of my what appeared to be correctly cooked chicken sandwich....IT WAS RAW on the inside. So we went back up there to get money back, the doors were locked as usual so through the drive thru we go. We tell the RUDE girl at the window the issue, she proceed to yell the managers name until he comes over there. They look at the sandwich throw it in the garbage & give us our money back with no apology or anything, just "here ya go". The customer service SUCKS!!! They seriously need some help or to close the doors!! We won't be back!!! Unless you want food poisoning don't go to this location! read more

We them two chances and they messed up our order both times. We did call the customer experience hotline and registered a complaint. The customer support person did say the manager would get in touch with us. I don't expect to hear anything from them. I have a generally low opinion of fast food restaurants and should have known better than to try eating here. We will not be going back to this location. read more

I went to the Wendy's In Oakland, Tn. today (09-06-2021). I had to go through the drive through, because like other fast food places they can't find enough workers to open the dining room. With that said, all of the other fast food places in Oakland, Tn. Have their dining rooms open? Anyway, I ordered a single with everything plus bacon, a double with tomato, pickles, bacon and mustard only. The bottom of the minus screen said the total was $13.15. When I got to the drive through window the young girl said my total was $17.00 and some change, I can't remember the exact charge and she didn't give me a receipt! When I ordered at the speaker she repeated my order back to me and it was correct. I ask her why the total was different when I got to the window, she didn't know! I told her and the manager what I ordered again because they said I ordered a single baconator and a double baconator. They said it was still the same price, $17.00 and change. I also ordered 2 medium fries. I paid and she handed me the bag. When I got home it was the same wrong order they said I ordered? It was a single Baconator and a double baconator! I called the Wendy's and talked to the same manager that was at the window. I told her the problem and she remembered me and the incident. I ask her for the district manager's name and phone number. She started to tell me and I ask her to hang on for a second while I got the piece of paper out of the drawer to write on. She Hung Up On me! I tried to call back 3 times and they refused to answer the phone and let it go to messages. While I was at the window, the manager just gave me the same Wrong Burgers that they had in the bag, because they don't care and where Too Lazy To Remake the Order That I ask for! My wife and I attempted to eat the screwed up burgers because I didn't want to go back and get the right burgers because I was afraid that they would have spit or something else on them. The burgers where Dry and not good at all! We will pass this story on to everyone we know! Wendy's in Oakland, Tn will never get our business or our friends and family's business!!! Never Again!!! I will get the District Manager's Name and Phone Number and make a complaint to the Corporate Office! My advice to everyone is to Not eat at this so called restaurant!
