Cold grilled chicken sandwich, cold burger, cold wrap, and soggy fries. Pretty gross overall. Oh my belly hurts.

I have eaten there before, and thought I had commented here at Yelp about it, but it seems I…read moredidn't. On 4/30 I had dinner there, and it really wasn't all that bad. I lost the receipt, so I'm gonna have to wing it.... The service was great. 5 stars. Seating is good. 5 stars. The price, is fair, considering the menu variety and location. 4 stars. The food quality, 4.6 stars. Altogether, 4.6 out of 5 stars. The details.... It has new management, and honestly, I think in Fountain Green nearly everyone has ran Shep's Grill at some point. The manager's sons were running it last night (4/30). I met the manager, sadly I forget her name, but she is a very nice lady, and I had a pleasant conversation with her. Her sons were running it at the time, and there did very very well. If I had any questions about their food, they had the answers. 5 out of 5 stars. The seating is good. Because of my impairments booth seating is painful. But Shep's, they have tables & chairs available. I didn't pay any attention to their booths. It's a small cafe, but it handles itself very well. In the front of Shep's you have a small general store, with some sporting goods and some groceries. Really, the whole layout is really cool. The restroom is well maintained. I have to give this 5 out of 5 stars. The meal ordered was Navajo Taco with small Shep fries, small ice cream and water. The Navajo Taco was good. Smaller than what I have seen as the average size, but unlike the Navajo Tacos I've had elsewhere in Sanpete, Sevier & Utah counties, made with actual fry bread. Sometimes people 'think' they are making fry bread when they really aren't. This one is the "real deal". The meat was good, the tomatoes & lettuce were as well. The sour cream is the downfall, because if anything it was there for appearance, not flavor. So for appearances, it was easily 5 out of 5 stars. But that's not what I'm paying for. But, not counting the sour cream issue, the Navajo Taco was pretty good. So in the end the Navajo Taco get 4 out of 5 stars. The fries I ordered are called Shep's fries, which is just a renaming of breaded fries. That's fine. Believe it or not, you really can screw up fries. I've seen that done before. And these kids? What do you think? Well, in my opinion...they did a great job with the Shep's fries. Temperature when served was hot, they were firm but moist. 5 out of 5 stars in a heartbeat. The ice cream was really good. Homemade vanilla ice cream, using Mexican vanilla. This was really really good. It had a smooth rich flavor to it. Another 5 out of 5 stars.

Update: this place used to be 5 stars, but it's not really worth it anymore. In 2019 it was about…read more$4.75 for a burger and fries in April 2022 it was $9.39 for a burger and fries. I don't think the food is as good as it used to be (though it's still fine). I probably won't be coming here anymore prices are just too high. I know inflation, but doubling their prices? Doesn't seem right. They also charge a 3.5% fee on top of sales tax if you pay with credit card. I don't know of any other businesses that do that.

WHERE IN UTAH IS LEE TODAY?!…read more "My soul requires that I ride!" Time to get back in the wind! I'm mostly a solo rider, sometimes riding with a small group of friends, and occasionally joining a larger group. Today, I joined the 4th Annual Gut Check Ride, hosted by the Call of Liberty MC in support of the nonprofit United We March. 25 bikes participated! The ride followed the Delta Loop -- Gunnison, Nephi, Delta, Scipio, and back to Gunnison. For me, it was 210 miles of riding! The ride was well planned, well executed, and safe. From what I could tell, everyone had a great time! A big THANK YOU to Paul Harnett and Call of Liberty MC for allowing me to participate. I'm glad I got to be part of it! And, of course... let's not forget LUNCH! ASHTON BURGER BARN & BUTCHER SHOP -- DELTA Great burgers, fries, ice cream, AND a butcher shop! My choice: Cheeseburger -- lettuce, onion, tomato, pickle and cheese. Just the right amount of toppings! Fries -- homestyle, just the way I like them! LEE'S LOCAL VERDICT: Great food. A fun place to stop for lunch. And they easily handled the sudden rush of 25+ hungry bikers! Worth the ride? ABSOLUTELY! If you're in Delta, stop by Ashton Burger Barn & Butcher Shop. You'll be glad you did! And if you stop in, tell them the "Where in Utah is Lee?!" guy sent you! NOW I NEED YOUR HELP! When you're out riding... Are you a SOLO rider... or do you prefer RIDING WITH A GROUP? I was told it was because my bill was "close to $100, and my boss will get mad at me if I dont add it" Let's be clear that my bill, service charge included was $91. So, better stay around $50 per order We have family in Delta and visit regularly and I love the food but I will be placing multiple small orders from now on to avoid the service charge.

The smash burger era has a new contender In a market flooded…read morewith smash burgers, standing out requires more than a hot griddle and a good press. Fancy Burger in Orem figured that out and built something worth talking about. The foundation is the beef, a custom blend of 92% whole steak cuts and 8% smoky bacon, served on a Hokkaido bun, the Japanese milk bun known for its pillowy softness and subtle sweetness. That combination alone puts Fancy Burger in a different conversation than most of its competitors. We ordered the Plain Luxury cheeseburger with caramelized onions and kewpie mayo, and the double version with added bacon. Worth noting that the double with bacon is not the same as the Fancy Bacon Cheeseburger, which is its own creation featuring sous vide bacon, a farm egg, and aged cheddar. The menu rewards attention. The fries are ordered separately, which is the right call because they deserve their own moment. Made with beef tallow and available in several varieties including crispy carrot, sweet potato, rosemary, and thick cut, we went with the crispy carrots and would order them again without hesitation. Save room for dessert. The caramel butter cake was the highlight of the evening, bold, rich, and balanced beautifully by salt flakes that kept the sweetness from overwhelming the plate. It is the kind of dessert that earns its own mention in a burger review. The interior surprises you. Located in a street mall, Fancy Burger has darkened and designed the space in a way that feels genuinely upscale and intimate. Friday and Saturday nights bring a live singer and pianist, which adds a layer of atmosphere most burger spots would never attempt. The staff was attentive and friendly throughout. Keep an eye on the Fancy Burger of the Month, a rotating creation that is made once and never repeated. At around $30 for the burger alone it is a splurge, but the concept is as fun as the execution sounds. We spent about $50 for two without drinks, which felt fair for the quality across the board. Five stars for a burger experience that earns the name.
