This is the worst Wendy's I've ever had the displeasure of going to. Not the first time there was an issue and not the 2nd, 3rd or 4th time. I never once haven't gotten an order correctly done here. I prefer to order online but you can't. They will mess it up. Go thru the drive thru... they will mess it up. So go inside. Check the bag... get home... and yes you got items but not the items you ordered. I mean you shouldn't have to open the wrapper to see if you got the right food before you leave. Wait time in the drive-thru was slow, but not as slow as the Wendy's near where I live, so I'll give them that. Food was prepared as ordered (no pickles), but the bacon on the Big Bacon Classic cheeseburger was inedible. Bacon shouldn't be black (just saying). Burger tasted fine once I pulled the burnt bacon off of it, but if I'm paying for bacon on my burger, I want bacon that I can eat on my burger. Went to try the new Loaded Nacho Burger and Queso Fries. Wait time wasn't too bad, but I got lucky since I was the only person at 9pm. Anyways the burger was good! Crunchy and flavorful also spicy but not overwhelming. The queso fries were nothing special. Tasted like artificial queso from a jar. We came in, there were 3 small groups of people in front of us . 30 minutes later we still had not been able to order food so we left. All the staff seemed confused and moved slowly with no sense of purpose. If there was a manager, he was not giving any of the kids direction. I was excited about my visit today. The line seemed to be moving quickly. This is normally a line that does not move quickly at this location. Everything was going great until I pulled off and noticed they up charged me on lemonade and gave me the lemonade I did not want. I ordered two lemonades for my children and now they will not drink them. They should not up charge you for fancy lemonade without asking. I now have drinks that I cannot serve my kids and there will be lots of crying when I get home. Have you ever sat in a Wendy's line for 20-25 minutes only for them to tell the person in front of you that they are the last customer they are taking (and this is 8 minutes before they close)? However, I'd been waiting with 4 cars in front of me for the last 20 or so minutes? 4 cars. 20 minutes. They are slow and perhaps purposefully so...? I stopped in this afternoon at 6:47pm and I was the second vehicle in the drive thru, sitting behind a Lady in a small white Lexus sedan. After about 3-4 minutes, it's hard to say cuz I was not looking at my watch at this time however she sat at the drive-thru order kiosk and I put my car in park, looked at my watch and it read 6:47 and when she moved up to the pay window, 4 minutes and 24 seconds had elapsed, and that is just the time that I measured, which as I stated earlier, was easily 3-4 minutes after I had pulled up. So I pulled up to the order kiosk and sat there to total silence. I had looked at my watch and approximately 2 minutes had elapsed and not a single sound from an employee regarding taking my order. I said "hello," and no response(2:46). I waited until another 1:14, and at 3 minutes I asked "hello, is anyone there," to which a male responded "yes, one minute please." I not only gave him another minute, I gave him two more minutes and at 5:00 minutes of sitting at the kiosk, I put my vehicle in reverse and exited the restaurant. I had spent 9:24 in a line with myself and one other vehicle, and as I said, had I been keeping track, easily over TEN MINUTES and I had not even placed my order!! This is the second time that I have left this Wendy's prior to ordering in the drive through and it will be the last time that I EVER stop there again. They close at 8pm Do not ever stop here after 8pm because it's a guarantee they will screw up your order. Or give you cold food. Seriously, they are so lazy after 8pm. I've never seen it this bad. I used to work fast food. I've seen tons of places that do a very normal job. This is expert-level laziness. Obviously they have never seen the other stores all around town open 24hrs that don't have half the issues they have here. But that aside, could you at least operate your posted hours? Could you at least do the legal minimum of food temps you serve? If not, just lock up the doors and sell the property because it will pay off in the long run. I ordered half a taco salad & 4pc chicken nuggets. I haven't been to Wendy's in years & forgot how good their nuggets are. I think they are the best fast food nuggets out there, in my opinion. I remember liking their taco salad so I ordered that, but was dissappointed with it. First they forgot to give me tortilla chips. All it was was lettuce & tomato & even when I added the salsa, chilli & sour cream it was still bland. But at the same time the salsa was really over powering.
