Went in on Sunday March first 2026 around 2pm and the guy working the window seemed annoyed and was rude I asked for two packs of ranch and he's too busy talking to the person next to him to hear me so I ask again and now he's mad because I'm asking (again) and he proceeds to charge me then slam the little window closed lol (the little power he had to slam that window lol). Okay, I went here last night because it was convenient and I could get a small Frosty and large fries for $1.08. I placed the order on the Wendy's app. The dining room is very small and uninviting. They have a Freestyle Soda machine and lids, They have two ketchup pumps and small plastic cups. You cannot take napkins or any utensils at this location. They only gave one of our orders a spoon for the Frosty. I was not going back in to ask for another. Order took a while because they were busy with other orders before ours. I noticed that the prices on the menu board inside the restaurant are very high and the prices shown for this location on the mobile app are much more reasonable. The Frosty was fine, the fries were fine. read more

Wendy's is Wendy's but this location really is bad just like everyone says it is. You'd be better off hitting McDonald's just down the road or even Five Guys. I used to love Wendy's...it was heads above the other burger chains. WTH happened? The app NEVER works smoothly, 5 workers and 8 ppl were " crushing " them. There is usually an inexplicable wait and everyone looks befuddled, putting orders together. I got the 4 for $4 combo. The fries and nuggets were decent, but the " burger"...a thin, square burnt atrocity. Did they deep fry it? Everytime I go here I either A. Get an attitude from the girls in the drive thru B. Get the wrong order. My latest purchase was the 4 for $4 and I ordered a Crispy chicken BLT sandwich. Below is a picture of what I received. WHEN HAS THERE EVER BEEN PICKLES, ONIONS AND KETCHUP ON A CRISPY CHICKEN BLT???? It looks like they did one half BLT the other half junior bacon cheeseburger. Are the on drugs? How does this even happen. Is it really that hard to prepare a set menu item that you probably made a hundred times a day? And then they have the nerve to give ME attitude for pulling into the drive thru and making them do their jobs. Your job isnt that hard. Might be stressful but not hard. I can't see why this "fast food" restaurant is so slow. I go to Wendy's because of the fries and the strawberry lemonade. This joint has got to be slowest. The drive thru is usually long and I would look into the store and see there's no customers in line so I would park my car and run in thinking I'm going to fair better than waiting on line in the drive thru. Mind you I make note of the car I was behind to test my plan. Unfortunately I still end up waiting as long if not longer. To make matters worse they never seem to get my order right. I don't know if management has changed at this place or something but things have gone DOWNHILL. They never get my order right, there's always a mile long line. The workers at the register are too distracted to even take your order. Apparently the poor kid doing the drive through is easily confused. I tried to order via drive thru here a few Saturdays ago around 7pm. Tried - because after sitting in the line for 10+ minutes, I sat (extremely patiently) behind the car in front of me for almost another 10 before I could hear that they were even invited to give their order. When it was my turn, I sat there 7 minutes myself saying "hello?" to no avail. I finally drove away, and as I took the turn around the front of the restaurant in order to leave the parking lot, I saw 3 or 4 Wendy's employees sitting at a table near the front window, eating, and I saw no one behind the counter whatsoever. I stopped the car just to watch for a moment. No one behind the counter and none of the people sitting and eating looked to be returning to the back anytime soon. By this point the drive thru line had doubled in size. They lost my business to McDonald's down the road, and I won't be going back. read more

I ordered cheese fries. Aaand the fries came with no cheese. The cheese fries came without cheese. It was just two ingredients cheese and fries. Okay technically three because besides the cheese sauce it is supposed to come with I also ordered the shredded cheddar to go on top as in I paid 63 cents extra for extra cheese on each fry total of three fries just to make sure I got some cheese. They have the slowest drive thru I've ever been too. I've been left at the speaker box for 10 minutes just waiting for someone to acknowledge my presence. Go here and you'll feel like you are in one of those corporate training videos on "what NOT to do" when working in a restaurant. Super slow service, unfriendly staff. It took over 15 min to make a basic chicken sandwich and fries with only one other guest in front of me. Looked like they waited just as long. The workers seem like they hate their job and have no reason to be quick about anything. The mobile app is a joke. Might as well just order when you get there and they will be far less confused by your order. Better yet, don't go there at all. They have to be the worst Wendy's on the planet. If I could give this place a zero star rating, I would. Went thru drive thru, waited 10 mins to order ( 2 cars in front of me ) then waited another 12 mins before I got to the window when I was asked to pull up. I refused as I had just waited 12 mins for the car 2 in front of me to receive their order, why should I have to move up ( mind you, last time they asked this of me I waited an additional 15 mins as they forget about you ). After another 5 mins of waiting the "manager" asked me to pull up and I asked for my money back and left. Hands down the worst fast food place in Middletown and it's not even close.
