Regarding the drive-thru only. The service here is passable, at best. It takes the staff too long to take orders from the drivers and it's gotten much worse over the last year. Today, for example, it took 5-7 minutes for the order taker to even ask for the driver's order, for each driver. There was at least 9 cars in the drive-thru and we weren't moving. I sat for over 15 minutes for them to get through two orders and, during that time, there were still at least two cars ahead of them waiting to receive their orders, which were both waiting when I got there. I ended up leaving while there were still three cars ahead of me. I'd understand if it was a one-time issue, but it's not. This location has been my go-to for a few years, but I don't think I'll be going back again anytime soon. I'll go to Winchester, VA before I go to this one again. read more

Terrible service, ordered two items and then was told to pull forward. Waited for 20 mins while car after car got their order and left. Then when someone finally came out to give me my order, it was the wrong one. Told the gentleman it was the wrong order and I wanted a handful of ranch and their signature sauce. Guy took the food back, I waited another 10 mins. Finally got my food and it was cold, and I was only given two ranch and no signature sauce. Overall the night crew seemed incredibly incompetent. Oh. My. God. What a horrible place to dine in at. I can see why this location got so many bad reviews. I should have taken a cue from all the vehicles in the drive thru, but I was determined to sit down and eat instead of driving off with my food. It was a mess, service wise, but not so much a mess as the food was fresh (even if it did take forever to obtain your food). When I walked in here there were two gentlemen standing off to the side. I thought they were waiting to order, but they were there to pick up delivery orders. With that, I approached the counter to place my order. From the time that I approached the counter and had someone there to take my order, two more customers come in and another delivery order shows up. Finally get to place my order and there is now a hoard of people standing around the counter looking like we are at a watering hole in the middle of the jungle about to pounce on the next order to come up to the counter. One of the two gentlemen that were there for a mobile order delivery ended up cancelling it on the customer and left because of how slow they were moving. At that point, it had been about ten minutes since I entered. Another five or so minutes elapsed and the order's were coming out at a snail's pace. I had time to fill up my cup and drink half of it before my order was finally ready. The other gentleman that was there before me for the mobile delivery order was still standing there. The one guy that came in after me was verbally showing that he was upset, but those complaints fell on deaf ears, as we rarely saw anyone come to the counter. By the time that I finished my meal, there were a few more mobile delivery orders and customers to come in. The first gentleman finally had the mobile order in hand and was out the door mere minutes before I finished. I've seen chaotic before, but never like this. I don't know if they were understaffed this door or just unorganized, but it definitely showed with the lack of awareness of your customers in store. They were more focused on getting the drive thru line moving than making sure people were satisfied. read more

worst Wendy's I've ever been to. The food was terrible. The hamburger was a very very dry and very cold. Like leftover hamburger meat. Although we had to wait for the french fries, they were not hot when we got them. Only got three of the four orders of fries I ordered because the man was off the clock and left and forgot to make the last order. dining room was DIRTY . Service was terrible. I understand that statistically 20% of West Virginians are illiterate, but how is it possible that this one Wendy's manages to onboard staff entirely from this disadvantaged population? If you use DoorDash, be sure to order at least twice the amount of food you actually want since you will randomly receive half of it every time. Staff is rude and nasty. Argues with you when you figure out you've been up charged. Service is horrible. You don't get to finished you sentence when ordering. Manager on duty was worst than employee's. Called to complain, no working number. Emailed and completed survey. Never heard back. Won't be going back. ugh i hate this place ! their fries are really good. they taste just like 5 guys HOWEVER, they do NOT clean anything. there was so much gunk all over the table and on the floor. my food was cold asf & my bun on my burger was too oily. PLUS the bathroom ceilings are leaking and there's black mold. someone should really take care of this ! read more

This is probably the worst Wendy's service I have ever experienced. The dining room was locked although no signs were saying why. The lady at the drive-through got annoyed with us for asking for something that she forgot to add to our order. The food was also cold and had no flavor whatsoever. read more

It was a Friday afternoon my mom and I went there for a quick bite to eat because we were out shopping for the day. Ordered and paid for our food about 15 mins went by and still haven't gotten our food so we went up to check to see what's going on. Long story short our order was never started. The clerk had us check our order on the screen to see if it's on there wasn't on there receipt was in the trash. Clerk said she was going to wash her hands but was over by the fries before she even did that probably even scooped them out before heading to the sink. Since the receipt was found they started making our order they got half the order done but it got to the point I asked for some kind of compensation for the wait by this time a total of 25 min to a half hour has gone by and we still was not able to get our order and sit down to eat. They said they could give me a free frosty I asked for a refund so the clerk checked with the manager came back she refunded our money but after she refunded it we were told they couldn't make the rest of our order. First off okay then that should have been stated before refunding our money that we can't get the rest of our food. The manager could not come out to the front and speak to us like she should have instead made up a fake name because we were ready to call them in to customer service to complain. Whatever happened to making the customer happy especially after waiting all that time. Since the pandemic there have been many restaurants that are just not the same. This is about the one on Foxcroft Ave in Martinsburg WV. This place just sucks. I went there and ordered one of the new pretzel pub burgers. What I got was a chicken sandwich that had the pub burger toppings on a regular bun. The fries were cold. The only thing that they got right on my order was the drink. The lady that took the order even asked single, double or triple. The order was correct on the receipt but not in the bag. So there is another Wendy's in Martinsburg and one in Spring Mills. Both of those I've never had an issue with. I would rather wait a little longer and get what I ordered than get something different fast. This place could close its doors tomorrow and do the neighborhood as good a job as what they are doing at the moment. read more

Amazing that three of us entered with three separate orders, yet all had one thing in common: what we got was not what we ordered. My observation was that everyone was focused on the drive through, and my burger endured what I would call "assembly line disaffection." My opinion is that Wendy's should throw in the towel on this location and redirect hungry travelers to a place where they can get a burger--hold the frustration! read more
