I just wanted to leave a positive review. The manager Ryan Olsen was extremely helpful. My son and his family were traveling through Oregon enroute to the Seattle, WA area for his work. He dropped his credit card and Wendy's gift card. I called and spoke to Ryan today. One of his employees overheard the conversation and stated my son's credit card had been found. I was able to verify everything with Ryan. He is going to mail the card back to us at his expense. This is customer service that goes above and beyond. We had three kids with us, one who didn't get a happy meal. I believe it was Ryan, who went way out of his way to bring a third toy play dough to us, just to be kind. As his shift ended, he told the team words of encouragement and gratitude. It was a great stop that is usually filled with mundane things, but not with the team they had working Sunday at 4pm. The staff seemed overwhelmed with just 4 tables of patrons. They were saying to the customers they would be glad when the night shift came in. The seating area was filthy and didn't appear to have been cleaned through most of the day. The sodas machine was dirty as was the condiment counter. I mean really dirty. I wonder if the owner of this Wendys store reads the reviews here. He should because there are several comments about the abundant number of FLIES buzzing around! I have been to this place several times because I like Wendy's hamburgers but this place is DIRTY, there are flies, and the last (last) time I was there, a guy who looked like he was possibly homeless was at the front order register. I placed my order that included a medium drink, this guy sticks his hand INSIDE a drink cup, spreads his fingers to put pressure on the inside of the cup and swings it over to me!! I thought he was joking, but was totally surprised and took the cup. The guy got my order wrong and made several mistakes with the order in front of me! I understand that this guy is trying, and I like the fact that he is working instead of being a bum, but he needs lots more training before serving the public! I wish the owner of this place would clean it up properly and hire some clean, well trained workers to run it! I will not enter into this filthy place again until the owner gets it together. Well...flies thick enough to wade through, a register kid who spends several minutes spraying down trays with some sort of cleaner before bothering to ask how he can help us. Then he rings us up, before handing us our cups, with hands covered in cleaner handling the lids and cups inside and out somehow, while giving them to us. Let's ignore the stained nature of the rag he was cleaning with. Instead, how about we talk about the filthy counter I picked up the food from, and from which register jockey considers putting spilled fries back into my fry container! A very bad example of a Wendy's restaurant. The latest bad experience I had at this location was raw meat in my pulled pork sandwich.

Lines out the door and second cashier decides she needs to taker her lunch break. Ridiculous, we walked out, this is a zero star rating.

We have gotten to the point that we won't even go through the Wendy's drive thru for a drink, let alone a meal. Can't remember the last time they got an order right. The final straw for me was one night I was sitting at the window waiting for an order. I told the gal at the window that I had ordered chili, not fries. The guy helping to bag up the order said "I f-ing hate it when they do that!" He did not use the abbreviated version. The drive thru has gotten so slow, they now complete the order at the window before taking the next car's order. So you can be sitting at the speaker for several minutes. read more

Terrible, slow, lazy rude employees, definitely not something you always expect from a Wendy's which I feel is a little bit better than most fast food chains in terms of employees. It took me 30 minutes to get a value fry a medium drink and a double stack. Not only did I ask her why it was taking so long that I no longer wanted the food items, she refused to give me my money back, and I paid in cash. Only after I pay did she tell me that it would take this long to get my fries. I told her that I would just go across the street, and she said "Get on then!" Wendy's in La Grande gets orders wrong almost 100% of the time. I have quit going there just to avoid the hassle of it all. Tonight my husband went there and used the drive through, he ordered one* meal and one* order of fries! They forgot the extra order of fries.
