I just want to put it out there that up until about a week and a half ago they had breakfast and their breakfast burritos were the bomb they just got bought out by new owners they have discontinued all breakfast and they now have different hours were they open at 10am and close at 10 PM so I am very disappointed that they no longer have the breakfast burritos and staff have even left because of it. It is a sad day it was the best breakfast For a drive-through in LaGrande. I work at the hospital and I was getting breakfast there every day now I have nowhere but to either make it myself yes I'm spoiled :-) or I can get it at work. But that was a perk to my morning that is no longer there. To me it is sad and a very poor choice for the new ownership getting off on the wrong foot. read more

It does not have more options than Taco Bell. The crunchy chicken was more of a taquito. I would rate them 8/10. The chicken ranchero burrito was big but could be tastier 6/10. The staff were super nice and polite. The drive thru was fast. read more

Came in the drive through yesterday around 330 pm after a LONG drive from a whidbey island and we were starving. The gentleman working the drive thru was super pleasant and calmly explained the difference between the burrito and taco to us. We ordered two burritos and some nuggets and a dr. pepper. The whole meal tasted fresh and delicious. The customer service was a bonus, as it seems these days that's hard to come by. He asked us how our day went and was super authentic. We appreciate this awesome pit stop traveling between our two towns. Hope its stays that way and that gentleman should get a raise for being so great :) read more

Eating there always reminds me of eating at a school cafeteria. People kind of shuffle to and from the counter with their trays and mumble to one another with minimal eye contact. Counter folk hollering, "PUMPKIN! (empanada)" at top volume. No one seems too excited to be there, but they come back in droves. If you're starved, and the one(1) taco truck has closed shop for the winter months, you may find yourself dining there. Moving to La Grande has polished up my small talk skills. La Grande is so small that if you eat there at lunchtime, or eat out anywhere for that matter, you WILL run into someone you know. Dining at Taco Time may be a lot of things, but it is never lonely. read more

Where do I start... the guy at the counter refused to say hello. Like, I tried to pry it out of him and all he would do is stand there and stare at me. No acknowledgement whatsoever. I only realized he was listening to me when he started plugging in my order. The food, oh dear lord, the food. I've had better food at the cafeteria in 3rd grade on mystery meat Mondays. This is not Mexican food, at least no kind of Mexican food I've ever experienced before... Taco Bell is 10 times more authentic, and of course we all know they are also not Mexican food. I get it, being so far from the border and without discerning tastes from customers, this just might be the bees knees... but if you've ever eaten anything remotely tasty, you'll pass this one over. Maybe this place is more suited to small children with simple palates. read more

I love Taco Time and I'm still glad it's here in La Grande. Most Taco Times have closed down everywhere else but the La Grande franchise is holding strong. The food is the best out of any other fast food "Mexican" food in town. Soft meat burrito is tops in my book and the mexi fries are great. The prices have gone up quite a bit over the years and it's almost to the point that it's not worth going. But the food is so good that you forgive it a little. Taco Time still uses real meat, real beans and real ingredients which is a huge plus in my book. read more

Took over 5 minutes to place an order. They switched people right in the middle. When we got our food we were missing items from our order and the food was cold. I think it was all microwaved and even then was not cooked. The beans were hard and so was the rice. Would NEVER eat here again. Only stopped while we were driving throug on a road trip. I would go the other way off the exit and go to Tacobell if I were you! read more

Each Taco Time is a bit different. This one's salsa bar has green chile salsa and onions. Their sour cream is less diluted than others. They do charge 25 cents for a glass of water however - some branches only charge a nickel. read more

My husband got the green chili pork chimichanga and it was great. I got the big Juan beef because burrito and it was disgusting the only stand out of our meal was the chimichanga. Major let down. read more

Stopped in at this restaurant while traveling through town. The parking lot was clean. There was no one in front of us in the drive thru so we were able to immediately order. The guy at the window was friendly and efficient. We ordered a chicken soft taco and a chicken taco salad. The food was hot and good. We really enjoyed our meal at this restaurant. read more

Taco time food always gets a 5 from me. This service is a little suspect. Old decor. They hide the specials like 4 for 5 so make sire you check the taco time app or website. read more

Taco time used to be awesome. Literally it used to be amazing. Now that the owners have switched it is crap. I would not return. It's sad :( I really miss the old taco time. read more
