We checked Google multiple times and it stated this Wendy's closed at 2:00AM. Went to get food at 12:45AM. We pulled up to the drive thru and they first asked for our order. I ordered a taco salad was not advised until they went to make my food they also had no forks until the mgr walked in with them while I was back in line to get something else so then they made my salad then saw no sour cream then found out they had no sour cream or ranch which all should have been told to me so I could decide if I still wanted it or not. Today was my first day back at a Wendy's since 2019. Last time I walked into a Wendy's the person cleaning the restroom was the same person that was going to take my order without washing her hands or changing gloves. I decided to try Wendy's because my sister in law keeps talking to my wife and I about how good the food and how everything they do is fresh. Her location is in Springfield, Massachusetts and she is super proud of working there. This Wendy's at 699 Mayport Crossing is smells dirty as soon as you walk in, I've could not seat inside because all the tables had stains from the previous customers drinks like they had not been clean in weeks. We decided to seat in our car to eat. My wife got the wrong burger so she had to go back inside to get what she ordered. While requesting her burger a lady near the burger station stated she could make it because she was very sick. If she is very sick why in the world she is near food preparing counters with no mask touching her mouth, nose and eyes with a small black towel. This is an unacceptable practice. Why is she working there sick, at least wear a mask. I felt like she was the manager at this location. This place is run down! The photo for this location on the website looks nothing like it. I got the strawberry frosty since it is limited edition and I got the bourbon bacon cheeseburger combo with a strawberry lemonade. You can look at my post history and see that I don't leave many negative reviews and I have had a few bad experiences here that have gone without a review but this time actually prompted for me to request a refund and I didn't even get my food! I ordered on the app then arrived at the restaurant about 15 minutes later. I waited in line in the drive thru for about 10 minutes and then when it was finally my turn I told them that I had an online order and they said that I needed to go inside because the computer at the drive thru was acting up. This was frustrating but I understand that things happen. I went inside and waited in line for another 10 minutes because they would only help one customer at a time and that included the cashier conversing with people. Finally I had my second chance to get my order. I told him the name and he has to search the computer for it (already a bad sign) then he told me "it's going to be a while". This was also frustrating because I was going on almost 45 minutes since I ordered, but again, things happen. At this point I sit and wait in the dining room and watch people successfully go through the drive thru somehow since I was told the computer didn't work. I waited another 15 minutes for my name to be called. All while watching other people get their orders. Finally I ask if it is going to be much longer. The cashier went over to the kitchen area to check, they hadn't even noticed it! At that point I was done. Horrible! It's next to my job that I just started and I usually like Wendy's salads. Not here!! The first time I tried it, I waited for 15 minutes in the drive through (it was 1:45 on a weekday and only a couple of people in front of me) - it never moved. Parked and tried to go in, doors locked. Got back in the drive through line and waited it out - not many options in the area and I was hungry, on my way to a meeting. Finally made it to the window where there were a ton of people "working." When I asked the hold up and why the door was locked, they said they just sometimes do that when it's slow. What??!! So tried it again today. Again, no movement while in the drive through; so was happy when the door was open upon deciding to park. Ordered a salad - after waiting for 10 minutes, someone tells me the apples are all bad so they can't serve that salad. I change it to a Caesar- just trying to get to my meeting on time. Wait 10 more minutes during which time two employees come out from the kitchen. The girl says (loudly so everyone can hear it), " You can't serve that to customers. They gonna know." The guy says, " I'll serve what I want. They ain't gonna know shit." Nice, right? Gets better: I've now been waiting for 20 minutes for this stupid salad and I'm late to my meeting. I lean over the counter and ask in my nicest voice, " About how much longer for that salad?" (Once again, there are tons of people working and not that many customers. The guy that told me the apples were bad on the first salad I ordered yells down the line that my salad has been sitting there ready to go and to give it to me. Then the girl getting orders together nearest to me begins to mock me, LOUDLY, for asking about my salad ("Stupid bitch gotta cry about her salad ...). If there was a manager in the property, she should have been fired in the spot! I know this is hard work for no pay (I worked fast food in high school and college), but it's pretty bad to treat customers that way. Then the salad I received was pretty warm and had a little bit of a funky taste to it. So showed up late to my meeting and didn't have anything to eat all day. NEVER going back there!! It smells less like a bathroom, in the bathroom than it does in the lobby. This place doesn't manage its lunch hour well. They have about 7 people working that you can actually see and it's still slow. There is usually yelling going on behind the counter and just general disarray. The food is to Wendy's standards and it and the convenience to Base are the only reasons I come back. The inside is way out dated compared to most Wendy's and generally feels dirty. The outside is marginally maintained and good enough. Today's experience was no exception to the poor customer service. I ordered and sat to wait. While I sat and watched one of the cooks came out to talk with a friend in line and was leaning all over the Hand rail. Not a big deal. The other prep guy noticed and started yelling from the back about how he was working while the guy talking to his buddy was just standing around watching. Instead of squashing it, the prep guy started tossing people's food on the counter saying "here's the first one" "here's the second one" instead of engaging the customer properly. I went in on Dec 4 to get my granddaughter a meal. First I used my points to get her meal free and it didn't work took all my points but had to pay. The Dr Pepper tasted like shit so I changed it for a sweet tea. We got in the car to leave the tea was sour and they gave her spicy nuggets instead of regular. This place is ridiculous. They are absolutely horrible. You have 8 people working in the kitchen but they can't produce fresh food. The food was cold and old. All they did was re drop the cold fries. On top of that they always get your orders wrong..... that's always a problem. You ask for fresh food an they give you cold food.
