It really doesn't take much to get a good review at a fast food establishment. This location fails at multiple levels. 1) the food was below fast food standards. 2) service was absolutely terrible. No "good morning " no "hello" no " thank you ". Drive through window employee was an absolute soulless, rude prick. 3) garbage was overflowing and spilling into the parking lot at 7:45am. ( obviously the night team was too lazy to do their job and the morning team doesn't care.) Because it takes a lot of work to throw a bag into the dumpster. Not sure what is going on with this Wendy's anymore! I used to Love it... I placed a mobile order for a chili, small fry & a Parmesan salad. pulled up to a line out to the street at 10:30 pm... it took about a half hour to get to the speaker to say I was there. I tried to go inside to circumvent the line but it was already locked. Got home to eat my chili & now I wish I never did! been up all night running to the bathroom not sure which way it wants to come back out!!! So I'm not sure what's going on with this place. Lately I've been realizing this place has been having issues wanting to give change back to their customers. before I even start. This place is horribly run. The employees are constantly fighting with each other. Just for a kids meal you will wait a good 30-45 min some days. The employees always have an attitude. It's the most chaotic experience. And don't you dare ask if they have vanilla frostys. They haven't had them in over a year. I think tonight was the last time I'm coming here. Burger was overdone, dry and lacked flavor. I forgot they also put mayo on some burgers (but not all - how about some consistency??). Gave us wrong flavor frosty. The spicy nuggets are over-spiced. Well, it's been a couple of months and I have no complaints! The food is always good and the place is clean! Try to beat the drive thru lunch rush! Cut them some slack since IT IS a new location, very nice premises, looks clean, however VERY slow drive-thru, and NO TEAM WORK and lack of communication. Drive slow to find this place because their sign is low to the ground for some odd reason. They did put out tall and thin red flags but no one knows how long they will be out there. Just look across from the school very carefully. Otherwise... Very fast and friendly service! They have the Coke Freestyle machine in here. I love Wendy's. I would drive 20 minutes to get to the one in Sayville and it was always great. Recently they've been opening more stores- which are conveniently closer to me. I don't know what it is, but for some reason these new Wendy's just aren't nearly as good. The main three big points... 1) Burger meat isn't nearly as juicy and tender. Burgers at the new locations are almost always rubbery. Wendys was always about the great burgers... apparently, since they got bought out by a large food conglomerate (who also owns Arbys), they don't seem to care about quality anymore. 2) Fries seem to almost always be cold and soggy. I mean... WTFlock? 3) Crispy chicken just doesn't have that awesome zing to it like before. The seasoning isn't as tasty, the chicken isn't as tender and juicy and the whole experience just isn't the same. It's a crying shame- for decades Wendy's used to be awesome. Slow drive thru. Today I went with a validation code for a free sandwich. Ordered the Daves sandwich (hamburger) & chicken nuggets. Seem not to know how to handle the validation code.
