At the drive thru and have been waiting 23 minutes and counting on my food. This is a persistent problem at this location and I wish they could get some extra help. The staff they can actually find to work there is very friendly and the food is typically pretty good! read more

insanely slow, if you try to use the drive thru, they'll tell you that you must come in. Pretty understaffed

I have come here several times. And every time, the drive through either takes 20-30 minutes or they just close the drive through and you're forced to walk in. Absolutely no customer service. Hardly anyone working. I've been in line before and just left after no car movement in 10 minutes. Tonight's guy starts my drive through experience with "you're gonna have to hold on". Hello to you too. Sounds on par with every other experience here. No idea how this stays open. read more

This location has stepped up their game. I visited twice in two weeks, and there was only one car was one car in front of me placing an order. My orders were placed (I think this is now automated) and were correct and ready when I arrived at the window. The staff members were pleasant and appeared relaxed. The Apple Pecan salad I ordered was surprisingly very tasty! Great job on improving the customer eperience. read more

The food looked fresh and my kids didn't complain about anything. They were very busy but the workers were very calm and made sure things were done right instead of rushing. read more

To start, the mobile app is a joke. If I order and pay for my order using the mobile app, why on earth would you WAIT to prepare my order. That's why I'm using the app, so my order can be ready by the time I get there. And if I don't come, there's no waste, cause I've already paid for it! It's my food, if it's cold because I ordered it to early, that's on me. So now to the wait, I am the first and only car in the drive-thru, when I tell them I have a mobile order, they immediately ask me to pull into the mobile order spots, in the 25min that I am waiting, there are only 2 other cars that order and are also told to pull into designated mobile parking spots. So about 20-25minutes later, mind you I was the first one in line, they bring out all 3 cars at the same time. So since I waited all that time for them to prepare my meal, my food should be piping hot. WRONG! Iced coffee was no longer iced, it was all watered down. Potatoes cold and soggy. So that means they waited until all 3 cars food was ready before they brought out my food. FIRST COME, FIRST SERVED obviously went straight out the window, cause I'm sure it inconvenienced the worker to have to walk in and out 3 times. THEN, I look in my bag, and of course, they're missing an item. I get it, you don't feel like you have to work for your money, cause that would mean you're doing too much. But just warn me when I get there that you don't feel like working today, and I'll cancel my order and go to McDonald's. Cause I too was too lazy to cook breakfast, so I decided to go buy it. My Mistake, not your problem! read more

Very rude customer service. The lady behind the counter was so rude. She gave me bad look when i enter the Wendy's and did not greet nicely. She is so pissed that I came there. Never going this location anymore. She is not happy when customers comes there it seems like that. read more

Rude Staff. If you are working on your patience, keep driving to another location. The staff here while unattentive they are also very rude and apparently are playing with each other in the back while keeping customers waiting. read more

I would usually want to rate any Wendy's zero stars, but I didn't this time because it is so much better than the one near home. Their food is better. Their service is better. The staff is less rude. I would recommend it if you live near Northlake Mall. Please do not go to the one at 9905 Northlake Centre Pkwy. read more

Nope. Nope. Nope. Pure disappointment. Tired of paying for things they won't give. And waiting on line isn't an option since they take an hour to help you read more

Had just spent 6 hours at the ER at Novant Hospital and was discharged at 12:45 am and starving. Needless to say, all I wanted to do was catch a quick bite and go home and go to bed. Right across I-77 is a Wendy's which was perfect because the have a late night drive through that is open to either 2 or 3 am. Took less than 5 minutes to get there which was great and we were only 3rd in line which we initially thought was great. Don't know what the first car was ordering but it took 5 minutes to place the order before they pulled forward. Couldn't have been a complicated order because they were served in less than a minutes once they got to the pickup window. We were actually pulling out of the short line to drive up to the Wendy's in Cornelius when the first car pulled up so we stayed. My wife had gone home while I was at the ER to walk the dog and while there, she had grabbed a snack because at that time, it looked like I would be spending the night. Finally got to the order box and placed my order for a Double Dave's Cheeseburger Combo with medium unsweetened tea. They told me they were out of unsweetened tea but had something from the fountain that would work. Being tired, I agreed. Pulled up to the window to pay and was informed that they were out of the Fries that came with the Combo and it would be another 2 1/2 minutes if I wanted to wait. Originally I did not want the Combo because of the Fries and calories but my wife said she wanted them and if she did not eat them, she was sure the Corgi would ( he eats anything) Agreed and waited and she had a couple of very nice hot fries on our way home which was only about 8 minutes away. She had some more but the Corgi got about 1/2 an order and he is not complaining it the least. The Dave's Double was good and still nice and hot but the level of condiments added made for a very sloppy mess. A condiment is meant to compliment and not become the dominate taste. Granted this was at 1am in the morning and they appeared to have a greatly reduced staff but the staffing level was not adequate and should be addressed by management. read more

I asked for a Dave's double and no tomato and they gave me a single with tomato what are yall doing like fr fr.

Drive through is like waiting in line for the DMV. Horrible service and very time consuming. Crazy how these people want to make $16 hr while I burn $5 in fuel ordering and waiting for my food! Road construction out front should let a bulldozer go loose and level this facility read more

I'm not sure if it's luck but I have always had fresh hot food when my family and I have visited this location. The service of the workers is always friendly and pleasant. Clean store inside and out. This is my favorite Wendy's for Huntersville/Concord area. read more

Great french fries! Had to wait a little bit, but they were fresh and it was well worth it. Thanks for the management well done.

These guys did alright service wise. We weren't greeted with like open arms or anything, but after talking with the gentleman who checked me out, they were long shifts and it tends to be a lot of stress. They were kind and quick and allowed my little one to run around after being in the car for hours. The gentleman did forget what I ordered and forgot the toy for my little guy but he's to little for them anyway. Not to bad. read more

Wendy's again! I know, I know but sometimes it's about convenience and they really are one of the better national chains. This one was quick amazingly quick. I order a classic chicken sandwich and a nugget combo. Both were hot and made right and ready by the time I pulled up to the window. Nice job! read more

I still love this Wendys but am frustrated with a few things. They only have one soda machine and for some reason people have a difficult time operating the coke free style machines so you have to wait forever to get your drink or a refill. Secondly, the dining room was really dirty. And finally, it is almost impossible to turn left onto statesville road because of traffic. That's not Wendys fault but just a bad location. They still have great service! I tried the chicken tenders today which I believe are new to the menu. They were tasty but I'm not sure if I like them more than the nuggets. Wendys has the best fries as far as fast food is concerned! I did notice today that this location has a gas fireplace built into the wall that's mighty fancy. read more

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! You have been warned, at some point the excuses of COVID and no workers need to stop and we need to start calling this what it is, complete incompetence and poor ownership/management! Absurd that these places can even stay open. Got out of the drive through line after 7 min of not moving. Went inside to see the absolute s#*t show inside. One manager on her cell phone, one making food and two morons walking around aimlessly. They finally took my order after standing at the counter for 5 min. Got my nuggets and got out. read more

This location is a disgrace to the true meaning of fast food! Their drive-through should be completely shut down, there is no value in sitting for 30 minutes for your order to be taken and then wait another 30 minutes to have the order incorrectly served. If you want, fast food, don't go here! read more

Ordered DoorDash from this Wendy's location and ordered a Baconator Large Combo. I received the side and drink correct, but the burger was far from correct. First, it was not even a Baconator Sandwich instead just a regular hamburger. Second, the pretzel bun in which I paid extra for wasn't even on the burger. This is not the first time I have had this issue. Disappointing the managers are not catching these simple mistakes and correcting their employees. read more

Charged my card $18 for $6 worth of food. This location continues to disappoint. Do not recommended.

This Wendy's has problems at late hours (past 8-9pm) First time they ignored me and several other customers coming drive through line. They ignore me at the drive-thru and they ignored my phone call. I could clearly see the employees in the stores through the window so they were there. The second time(different week) I visited around those hours, they told me they were unable to make my food because they ran out of food. read more

We went to Wendy's on Wednesday after a baseball game at 8pm with 7 cars in line. Sat there 20 minutes couldn't even get close to the speaker to order. Tried to give this location a second chance on Thursday at 7:30 pm, but two cars were close to the window and we sat at the speaker with no one ever responding to take our order, so we left and just cooked at home. can't believe this store has more than one star. went there on Sat at 2pm (not lunch rush). Waited in line almost 30 mins with only two car in the drive thru ahead of me. Lobby was empty. Frustrated and left with three other cars behind me. The store manager should be fired. Horrible service, runs out of food (e.g. salads, potatoes, etc.) frequently due to POOR planning. Hires incompetent people. Went to a near by Taco Bell and got great service and food, QUICKLY. This location should be shut down. Such a shame for what was a good brand. read more

Wendy's did remodel, but don't worry...all your favorites are still on the menu. I won't go into the Wendy's menu on this review because if you made it this far you obviously know their food and like it enough to consider reading this review! The clapped out 80's interior has been freshened up to compete with today's more contemporary fast food restaurants. Move over McCafe...Wendy's is comin' in hot! I enjoy the total experience of the facelift, but as a longtime patron of this location I have to give so much praise to the changes made to the restrooms. I would love to have before and after pictures for you, but I don't... ...and I will not bore you with a written comparison where I continue to rejoice changes to an area of the restaurant where, unfortunately, many people do not visit before their meal. The last thing I say about the restrooms is that they were designed by someone who uses them. Go get a Frosty and some fries to celebrate! Check it out and let us know what you think! read more

This location is in desperate need of new management. I have worked in the food service industry in the past and understand that everyone is short-staffed right now, but it appears that this location is making its own hours as the day goes on. The closing time marked as 3am is very misleading. The hours need to be updated to reflect the actual times they are no longer serving. I have personally never had an issue with the food itself, but service is subpar at best. I sat at the drive thru for nearly ten minutes once only to be told they were out of everything except nuggets and drinks at roughly 9pm. This leads me to believe cleaning for the night is being done hours before the actual close time. The issue here is that I had a DoorDash order that I couldn't complete, which reflected negatively on me. I had to actually call the store to ask them to turn the lights off so I could take a picture per DoorDash's instructions to prove they were closed. As I was driving off, the lights came back on. The following day was very similar only this time I was told to "stop doordashing with us if you know we are closed then" at the drive thru window. I was at a loss for words at that point. On numerous occasions, this location is out of food, closing early, or simply ignoring anyone in the drive thru. Until noticeable improvements are made, I would avoid this location at all cost after 7 or 8pm. If anyone else delivers for a company around this location, decline the order as you will more than likely not be able to complete your delivery. read more
