Placed a drive thru order with an estimated time but got there 15 minutes earlier than planned due to good traffic. They refused to start the order until the order pickup time. I was made to wait 15 minutes before they started cooking. *edit* I received an email from the owner apologizing for the error with a promise of more training for staff. I'd love to be able to give them 7 stars. I was staying in a hotel across the parking lot from Hardee's Huntersville. I left for work at 7am and left my dog in the room forgetting that he is an escape artist... he got out. Nearly at work 30 min away I received a frantic call from the hotel manager that my dog had escaped and was running around outside. The hotel is surrounded by busy roads and I was sure my best friend was going to end up dead. The manager said he's afraid of dogs and refused to help till I suggested he call the police. I raced back driving 100mph on highway and 60mph in shoulders and on grass. When I pulled in my dog was safe. Nobody trying to help EXCEPT a couple ladies from the Hardee's trying to capture my dog using a biscuit as a bribe. I was thankful beyond words. I got him on leash and they called me over and fed him a biscuit and scratched his head and I'm a loyal customer for life. My doggie was very happy too :). (2 min later police arrived. Passed this Hardee's while driving on 77. This is one I go to often and has been open for many years. I typically only get breakfast and I must say it never disappoints. My husband did not grow up near a Hardee's but he enjoys it. My go to food items are the gravy biscuits, bacon egg and cheese and egg and cheese. They also have a loaded omelet biscuit that is delicious. There are not many in north Charlotte but definitely worth driving to. Nice spot to also stop at while traveling with a variety of options especially for their lunch and dinner menu. read more

I generally enjoy a simple breakfast meal at this Hardee's because they always seem to give you your money's worth. Who want to pay for a meal and feel shorted on the portions? Well it doesn't seem that this Hardee's wants that for its customers either. Perhaps it was because I arrived for breakfast at 10:20 AM, today was an off day for this location. I come to this location out of all other locations within about a 20 mile radius from my central start point. Today, the food was lukewarm but still consistent with the appropriate portion. Omg! I love their food. I ordered everything and got the whole order correct. I ordered chicken strips and they asked what sauce? I asked for ranch. I got to the car with my simple order and didn't check the whole bag because it was packed and i didn't wanna drop food and figured my sauce was on the bottom of the bag. Boy, was I wrong. This is the second time this has happened to me! No sauce in the bag, except for the horseradish that I requested last minute. I'm fed up because I live Hardee's ranch.. when they remember to put it in the bag! Now I have to use my ranch from the grocery store. read more

I love Hardee's chicken biscuits more than anything, but damn this location to hell. We recently stopped here to eat breakfast while we were driving back home to Pennsylvania for the holidays. The food was great, but the patrons -- not so much. There were grown men turning around at their tables to watch us eat. Yes, we did not look like everyone else but pink corduroy jeans are in this season -- deal with it, assholes. I have never been somewhere where ALL of the clientele were completely rude by staring at us. It was completely uncomfortable and it did not seem like a situation where we could have said anything back to these fat hillbillies. We will NEVER stop at this location again when we are driving back to Philadelphia. I urge any "city slickers" not to stop either. Not long ago, the Hubs introduced me to the the chicken rice bowl. I have been having at least one per week for the last two weeks. Today, I went inside and read the nutritional information. The calories are about 430 which I can handle. However, with a sodium content of over 1,200, I will have to limit the frequency of my visits. Three stars for a clean restaurant, a 94.5 rating, and great, albeit slow service. I think the latter is because they don't have many people working at the same time, maybe two. read more

Wow!! This is the friendliest Hardee's or fast food for that fact I have EVER been to. The guy working the counter has been there 20 years (I over heard him talking to another table). He talked to us when we were ordering as well as when we were leaving. I loved all the locals sitting around chatting on what they were going to be doing. (We were the youngest in there by at least 30 years) If I need to stop again while on the road, I will go out of my way to stop here! read more

Huge difference in service today than on thursday noon. Thursday was great -5 stars, but today saturday horrible!! Lady yelling in kitchen, we had to wait a long time for our items to be served (almost 30 min)! On top of that they missed the cheddar fries which we had to remind to get. The guy told us he would get them that they were being done. 10 min later my wife stood up and went to the front to get which they did right on the spot. Horrible on saturdays! read more

This is a busy location and sometimes it can be hard to get out of to turn left. The service is fast and the food is always hot. Every morning you can always find a few retired guys there solving the problems of the day....laughing... and one of them happens to be my dad. read more
