I walked up for lunch. I had a craving for Wendy's food. I got a Baconator combo with a JBC on the side. It was pretty good all around. I don't know what it is about the simplicity of the JBC, but people are sleeping on it. I could eat a bag full of them and not get tired of it. Also, Wendy's is one of the few fast food restaurants that gets bacon correct. Crispy, but not overdone, with a little bit of meatiness to it. I just wish their fries could be as good. I don't think that it's indicative of this restaurant, but Wendy's fries all around could be crispier and seasoned better. Also, season the burger meat a little more. It will help the burger taste its best. Otherwise, I'm pretty satisfied. read more

I waited 30 minutes before getting my order and my friend didn't get his order in about 43 mins. When we got there, there was no one in front, people in the back messing around/wouldn't even acknowledge us, so we placed our orders on the app. When the cashier finally came she started taking people's orders and the orders she took got made before ours even though she put our receipts next to the packer. I had to talk to the packer in Spanish to get our orders made. Even after telling them 3 different times my Friend didn't get his order until he waited in line and paved a separate order. Both his orders were given to him at the same time. Even though 1 was placed 43 mins prior to the other. The only good thing was the food being hot. I don't normally fall for the ad banners on Myspace, but I fell for this one. The ad said to click on the button to CALL a local Wendy's to reserve a table. I was like no-way...VOIP from a ad... This I got to try. *CLICK* Seconds later it proceeds to "call." A voice comes on, obviously not a real person, and starts reading this message in front of me. All that was missing was the bouncy ball above each word so I could speak along with the recording. To have the reservation, I needed to enter my email address. I was emailed a "confirmation." The confirmation turned out to be a coupon for the new "boneless wings." I had to download a software, before I could print the coupon, that's different. The banner ad was promoting the new sweet and spicy chicken, with an authentic taste. I love Americanized Chinese, and if it's citrusy with chicken my tastebuds generally approve. Psychological craving activated, I was compelled towards gratification. Whoever came up with this ad deserves an award, a brilliant integration of images and sounds. For getting a skeptical, ad immune person like myself to click on an ad. I couldn't even preview what was going to be printed. So what came out was a surprise. They're taking coupon fraud seriously. Expires 7/24!?!?! There's less than two hours 'til midnight. I was like andale andale arriba arriba you-hoo, like Speedy Gonzales. The loudspeaker has a case of laryngitis, every other word was omitted. I have heard more from a cellphone call with lots of static. Even with the messed up loudspeaker, I could pick up on the undertones of frustration and irritation behind the voice of the employee. I can't say that I blame her; she was probably going through the rehearsed conversation for the 1000th time that day. I handed my coupon, got a $1.00 off. The boneless wings are in essence chicken nuggets with a different breading and a different sauce. Suddenly, they weren't as innovative as I thought. Unlike the photos, the boneless wings were evenly coated with the sauce, which exposed how dry it could taste. It had a kick to it, but my tastebuds didn't feel fire and brimstone. The new Sweet and Spicy chicken from Wendy's is okay. Service proves it's still a fast food restaurant, all efficiency no fun. read more

This place is ridiculously unprofessional & a poor excuse for a Wendy's restaurant. Employees don't speak English or barely speaks English, and then the food is over cooked or not cooked enough. Wendy's need to have the entire staff trained on their brand and standards of business. Ugh! I had the pleasure of going to this location about a week ago. The lines were long as hell in drive through but let me tell you about the absolutely amazing service I received from the manager Ms. Dorothy. She was so pleasant in the drive thru. Once I got to the window we spoke and greeted each other and exchanged pleasantries. She took great care to make sure everything we ordered was in our bags. Dorothy is definitely an asset to the Wendy's brand. She mentioned she's eligible for retirement soon and I hope that Wendy's helps send her off well and gives her something special for her years of service. I love you Ms. Dorothy! read more

Any time after 6 pm this place is the worst to go, I like Wendy's especially the new menu items, but the staff there is always giving out wrong items. I'm not rude, I speak politely, so making the listed items on their menu shouldn't be a problem when I ask for them, it's their job. A came here because I was craving the new Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger. I went through the Drive thru and the first thought I had was this Wendy's should not be here. It is right on the corner almost on the street. It is just a weird location to be at. I made my order and the employee had a really heavy hispanic accent and I tried to understand him, but it was difficult because the speaker on the intercome was breaking in and out a little. I had to repeat my order two times so he can understand me, and I told the guy that I speak spanish. He didn't speak to me in spanish he said it is okay just pull up to the window. When I got to the window he repeated my order to make sure it was right. It was difficult to understand him, but I figured it out. I am not dissing my people, but it is important to have someone in the drive thru where people can understand. He was friendly and everything, but he does not need to be in drive thru he can do something else. And plus he looked uncomfortable being there anyway. The Pretzel bacon Cheeseburger was not that good, the pretzel was too dry and they didn't put that much cheese in it. So I won't be trying the Pretzel Bacon Cheese burger anymore. This was my first time going to this particular Wendy's location. I went thru the drive-thru and ordered the new Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger combo. The signs are everywhere in Houston so I thought I'd give it a try. The interaction at the speaker was brief and hard to understand. When I got to the window to pay, the guy looked liked he hated his job and didn't want to be there. There definitely was not a friendly smile or warm greeting from this person. My fries were fresh & hot. Wendy's has great fries! My drink was almost as hot as my fries. I ordered a sweet tea. I received a sweet tea with the cup containing about 1/5 of ice. The burger looked good. But it was soooo greasy. I couldn't really tell where all the grease was coming from. The buns were oily, the burger patty was greasy, and it was a bit too much. I give props to Wendy's for using better quality toppings on this burger. The cheddar cheese different, & better from the normal cheeseburgers. Spring mix lettuce instead of iceberg. Grease aside, it's a good burger. Will I get another? Probably not. The pretzel bun isn't really that big of a deal. read more

Stood in drive thru for 10 plus minutes with only that one car at the window..went inside to pick up my order..stood there as everyone behind the counter acted as if I was invisible..I finally asked the girl mindlessly putting food on the tray with her short rolled up way over her waist if anyone was taking orders..she said "I am" and walked away..so I walked out..omg..this place is first of all what seems to be a struggling business..and with a crappy customer service..dont waste your time or your patience at this place...managment needs to be out on property to see what type of people it has working for them!!! read more

And my burger was extremely over cooked and hard as a rock when the only reason I ordered it was cuz on the menu it said it was tasty and tender :/ extreme disappointment.
