I have never really gotten anything bad at Huey's ad the service is always good. I absolutely love their spinach and artichoke. Dip. I also love their soups. My wife and I stopped in before a show. I started out with the soup of the day. It was a white bean with chicken and chili. I know that don't sound great....lol...But let me tell you that was a very good soup. It had a very unique flavor. My wife got her usual steak on a stick. She said it was very tender and flavorful. She also got a order of The Onion rings. If you like the big onion rings, you can't go wrong. I got the Reuben sandwich and onion straws. It was hands down one of the best Reuben's I've had in quite some time. I highly recommend Southaven Huey's. if you want a good meal for a good price you can't go wrong here. Oh, and be sure to try the soup of the day you won't be disappointed. The inside is always very nice and clean. They have lived music occasionally and a full bar. It's just an all around fun place to go in my opinion.

They were so delicious with the sauce at the bottom. My husband greatly enjoyed his burnt end cheddar melt, and my Pitt master sampler was delicious and left me enough food for a whole other meal! The fries, Cole slaw, and baked beans were also delicious. For dessert, my husband enjoyed the apple cobbler, and I had the banana pudding - y'all, this banana pudding is some of the BEST I have had! The decor is like any other Five Guys but the tables and booths and some of the chairs were just a mess. Well, they hadn't been wiped of crumbs, sauces, peanut shells, nor other remnants. It was gross. The floors weren't much better. They felt like they had never even had a one-night-stand with a degreaser, never mind a whole relationship, at any time in their existence. We all know it's expensive but I like this occasional splurge. At the counter, I ordered a little cheeseburger all the way excluding raw onions, mushrooms, and lettuce, a regular order of fries to share, a regular hamburger all the way, no exclusions, a chocolate milkshake and a Coke. All from a sullen teenager who had to be urged to speak audibly and clearly. I was polite but irritated at having to feel like an old biddy. The teen remained sullen but at least I could hear the questions. I had never seen a Five Guys kitchen crew so quiet, perhaps sullen as well? The whole place just felt... wrong. We asked for a booth to be wiped. Once it was wiped down, we sat to wait. Wait we did. The place wasn't very busy. Maybe 2-3 other groups of 2-4 people ahead of us. Still, we waited. Others got their orders and new people came in and got theirs. After asking about our order, it had mysteriously been lost in the queue. Certainly no apology from the sullen order-taker. We got a refund and left. Perhaps I shouldn't have asked the order taker to please raise his voice? I'm not sure what happened, but it was just a downer. We went to Huey's nearby where we shook off the experience, enjoyed drinks and a steak and returned to our hotel nearby. I had a chicken Philly and input a little of their house hot sauce on it which was a great idea! Other members of the party had a burger and a chicken sammich dunked in hot sauce. Ambiene? Well it's a cook to order fast food joint so it's got tables and chairs and lots of napkins and paper towel rolls on the tables. Oh - good blues music playing on the sound system too!!
