This would be an easy turn around for Hernando. Just hire some decent people to work. The old lady at the window was just completely rude and inconsiderate. I understand power was out, but to wag your finger while yelling through the sliding "security" window does not help and just pisses me off. The place is disgusting... the employees are angry and hateful. AND THE FOOD IS PITIFUL... I couldn't even get the drink I paid for because they couldn't get the machines on ! WTF! Ordered $16 worth of food, got a 4 for $5 in the bag once it got delivered. Took it back to the restaurant, did not get a refund or even a coupon as repentence. And the worst part is I ordered a pretzel bun baconator, and they were OUT of the pretzel buns si all I got was a normal baconator for $9. Worst fast food experience I've had in years. read more

Staff um welcoming stood at the counter for a minute or so no one spoke until a girl from the line yelled there's somebody at the counter it's customary in customer service that when someone walks in you at least say hello or someone will be right with you. We stopped in on Sunday on the way to the lake. The cashier is handling money and packing food with no gloves. I watched a girl dump fries in the frying baskets and grab fries w her BARE hands and move some to the other basket. I almost threw up. Health department needs to make a visit. I'm usually a fan of Wendy's but not this one today. Everything was cold. I saw the burgers being prepared so I know they were fresh BUT the meat was cold; so were the buns. Last night I told my family do not ever ask me to stop at the Wendy's in Hernando again. I spent 34 minutes in the drive thru line and it would have been longer if 2 cars in front of me had not left without ordering. This has been the same experience the last four visits and just keeps getting worse. At least the orders were correct this time even though the fries were cold. Slowest, messiest place ever! I'm being generous giving this 1 star. Plenty of employees but it seemed like it was the blind leading the blind. Why is it that employees of fast food places simply cannot understand the phrase "hamburger with ketchup only"? On 8/15 at the Hernando Wendy's I ordered such a burger and it came with two slices of cheese. I took it back and they asked me four times, believe it or not, if I wanted cheese. I finally told them I wanted a bottom bun, a piece of meat, a squirt of ketchup, and a top bun. How much more simpler can it get. It is beyond my comprehension as to why these people think they deserve more than the current minimum wage. read more

Went through Drive-Thru window. I had ordered 4 items off the menu and a sweet tea. The car in front of me had already been there a long time. I pulled to the window when they left ...and waited... and waited. The "server" put her hand out the window for my money. She then gave me change and a bag with 2 small items in it. When I asked about my drink, she got hateful and said "well they didn't ring you up for that ! Want me to ring it up now? I just said no and pulled into parking spot to check my receipt. I found that I had definitely paid for the drink. Also, dont know what was in the bag, but clearly not my order. When I went inside. they called her to the front counter. She said "yea, I got it over here" and went back to get it. I tossed the wrong order on the counter and told her just to give my money back.
