I used to love Wendy's. It was my secret cheat. I would go there and get a baked potato, chili and a drink. Back in the day (where there were the Value Menus), that feast would cost me $3.10 cents. I swung into this Wendy's today (shhh, it's a secret) and ordered the same. It was nearly $12. That's not a typo: $12. For that I could have had a nicer meal. (Like the grilled shrimp and calamari salad at that little place on Courthouse.) SMH over $12. To top it off, the place wasn't clean. To be fair the messy places were mostly customer places (drink area, utensils) but the staff certainly didn't make an effort to keep it clean. Oh, and why can't I find a plastic knife? Are you afraid I'll fashion it into a shiv or something? Spreading "butter" on the potato skin with a spoon did not make me look or feel cool. Again, to be fair, I was at Wendy's so likely nothing would make me look/feel cool. The staff seemed untrained and disinterested. I nearly had to wave someone down to give them my order. They were quite interested in the young man who was a customer chatting them up. And they certainly did not know that if there was time for leaning, there was time for cleaning. It's kind of sad really. This unit just did a brand update so it looked more modern and sleeker than a regular Wendy's does. There didn't seem to be any pride in their store. I guess, who can blame them: they are likely paid next to nothing. But still. You don't get paid to meet boys or to stand around and not assist a customer. So goodbye my friend, Wendy's. After three weeks of trying to get chocolate frosty on Plank Rd. Which is the closest to my house and them not having chocolate frosty, only strawberry. I finally called the south point Wendy's and they had it. I'm pregnant and I was craving this so bad. I am beyond happy they had Chocolate Frosty, not only did they picked the phone to answer my question at 9:37pm but when we got there and ordered the frosty it was delicious and perfect. These guys did a bang-up job tonight. Tons of people at the drive through so I went I side. There was a line but they greeted everyone even if they had to ask them to wait just a mi minute. This has to be the WORST Wendy's I have ever been to. Consistently not getting our order correct. The service at the drive through is incredibly rude. When I called to let them know items were missing I got hung up on twice. Second call he said he'd go check and slammed the phone on the receiver. When I did get through and said we would come back, we arrived and they say they had no order ready. With that said we didn't even want it worried what may happen to it. Stay away!!! The customer service is horrible! It took forever to get edited on. Nobody was at the register when my husband and I went into the restaurant. Then the cashier went back and forth to the register but never asked if she could help me. Finally after about a five minute wait with no others in line, another young girl came to take my order. My husband and I placed our orders, I paid and she gave us cups for our drinks. Only then did she tell us there's no ice in the drink machine. She did tell us the drink machine behind the counter has cold drinks. I told her she should have told us that before we ordered. And we asked for a refund. The manager had to be called to the register. I explained the problem and told him we should have been told about the ice issue first. He looked surprised and proceeded to go to their behind the counter ice machine and filled up our cups with ice. Are you telling me none of the waitresses were aware of this machine back there? While we were dining we noticed other customers go to the drink machine and try to get ice. Apparently they stoped informing customers about the ice problem. Lack of professional ethics. Just tacky. Just a bad dining experience. No manners, disrespectful and they kept us waiting forever. Try another location. read more

Well, stopped here for lunch on a road trip. Was not expecting much except a clean place to sit down and eat. One of the workers used the toilet in the stall next to me and went back to work without washing their hands. Next, we waited longer than usual for our food which was handed to us in crumbled up to go bag (we were dining-in), I guess due to Covid, they can get away without serving you on tray. I don't see how that's anything but an excuse to be lazy because it's really not sanitary to have to eat off a napkin or flattened bag that was handled by someone who probably didn't wash their hands 5 minutes prior. The ketchup packets they give you now are yours to squirt on your flattened bag as well. I'd really rather not eat like a savage so I probably won't be back, especially if this is the Wendy's new standard. read more

Wendy is a young woman that sells meat to folks. While driving home from a night out on the town with John Paul George, we stopped so he could eat. I took a much needed piss. The toilet had not been flushed (note to the business to flush toilets). But otherwise it was very clean. The front and back of the store looked as if they'd been cleaned recently. I did not eat here (and I never would) but the store was clean bubba. A good experience but not great. 4 stars. read more

Went here since we were in the area and needed food quickly. I wish I could say it was memorable but they didn't have what I wanted (double stack pack combo deal) so I settled with just a chicken nugget meal. Making this food isn't exactly rocket science considering it's all just deep fried. Guess the thing you do know is exactly what you're getting when you come here. This has to be the worst Wendy's in the area. Went there and ordered a double cheese with toppings, Baked potato sour cream & chives. And a side salad When I got home the potato was rubbery, no sour cream and the burger was dry like it had been sitting around for some time. The salad was nice. I called the store and spoke to someone who claimed to be the manager. All I got from him was "hmm Ohh mmhmm" I told him they should not serve food like this. His reply " Yes you're right, come back and we will give you another potato". I said "I don't want another one. I want better food and service." Everyone knows this establishment, so this review is strictly for their latest product: Sweet and Spicy Asian Boneless Chicken Wings. Their bold advertising of Asian flavors had me nonplussed. After all, Asia is a large continent with many different types of cuisine and flavors. Would these wings taste like rogan josh? like miso? like bibambap? Being an American chain of course, I was sure to be disappointed. I just wasn't sure by how much. Apparently Asian flavors amounted to taking already prepared chicken wings, running them through a simple syrup with flavorless red chilies, and shaking the container so that the chicken is evenly coated. The friendly staff ever! Two team members stopped at my table to ask if everything was good and if I needed anything. The crew then went on sanitizing the tables. I went thru the drive thru this afternoon for lunch and while they HEARD everything I said via my receipt NONE of those items were in the bag correctly when I returned to my office. Not only was my complete order WRONG but they had the nerve to ensure they up charged me for every single item that I didn't receive. The kicker is called to speak to a manager where they make it seem like its your fault your orders wrong or treat you like your trying to scam a chicken sandwich. I was told my only recourse was to bring my complete order back for a refund or exchange the wrong food items for the right ones... The worse food ever. Last time we stopped here the food order was not correct. I got someone's diet coke and the French fries were limp. Tonight we ran through the drive thru to get a late meal. We ordered two of the new pretzel sandwich meals. We received the wrong burger, no pretzel bread. The meat tasted old, lettuce was limp, and the fries were limp and seemed to have been fried in old grease. I had forgotten about the last time we stopped there, which was during lunch almost 6 months ago until my son reminded me the last time the food was bad. So we were out doing a little Christmas shopping and stopped in to grab a delicious fast meal! Well after waiting a few minutes with no one in line to place our order, behold the cashier showed up! Sweet Jesus we are gonna eat! So we order and the Manager brings over our fried, poor guy looked like he hated his life working here. So we go sit down and I noticed our fries didn't look to fresh. I tasted one and they tasted like they have been sitting in the warmer for an hour. So I took them back to the manager and asked for hot fresh fries and he gave me a look and said angrily it will be 3 minutes. I said that was fine and went back to eat my crusty old dry chicken sandwich and trying to keep my temper down because I wanted to punch him. So he calls out fries are ready and slammed them on the counter. My wife grabbed them. They were average. The place is like a black hole no one looks like they enjoy working there. If you're expecting to make $15 bucks an hour slapping some old stale chicken and burgers together at least throw in a smile! It's not meant to make a career out of it.
