Should have been a regular Baconader but it's not
Ja H.

I wish you could post half a stars Because this particular Wendy's is not very good. I ordered the baconator mealAnd I got the son of bacon eater meal. And they charged me full price for that meal which was$12.63 which if I were to ordered The son of baconatorIt would have been under 10 bucks so I pretty much got ripped off on my BurgerSo this particular Wendy's has been crossed off my places to go for burgers. Also they have all these commercials on TV for High 5 hot fries or whatever they say well well my fries won't even hot just barely warm.

Mixed spicy and regular chicken nuggets. Very unprofessional.

They thought they was slick mixing up my spicy chicken nuggets for my order. Very unprofessional

They were out of chunk cookies, I was forced to get the double chunk. Too much chunk! 1 star to Yelp. Why must I write a book to leave a review.

This place is so slow. They are always out of stuff like bbq sauce, chicken nuggets, drinks like sprite. Not a good place to eat in fife.

I love In-N-Out burgers in California, and this place comes close to reminding me of them. The flavor is just right and is probably one of the best fast-food and affordable burgers in Washington, in my personal opinion. You have to get the burger-and-milkshake combo, and the service is very quick. I cannot wait to get my next meal when I visit. This is a new comfort spot for me. :)

I think it's fine. There are places I like more and places that I won't even review.. The one thing that could up their game a lot would be sightly thicker burger patties. These are really thin so a single patty burger is more about the other ingredients than the meat. Pick Quick sauce (fry sauce) is good. Might be made with tartar sauce or relish base. Iceberg lettuce. Totally expected. The employees are usually pretty tired. There's a sign up. They are hiring! Help these kids out and take a shift or two if you're in the job market. :) The outside seating area is actually super well done. Picnic tables for both kids and adults. Next to a fancy car dealer so there's even a fountain nearby. On the far edge of Fife so safer feeling than down by the casino.

I normally have lunch here and the front desk person always remembers my order with a smile and the staff is eager to please the customers. The space still has the old style character from when it was first opened. During lunch, the place is always packed. Now, I don't eat beef and I always get the prime breast chicken with onion, pickles, cheddar cheese, grilled jalapeños , tomatoes , and mustard. Most burgers come with French fries that are wonderful and the bun is great. I had to stop eating the fries and the bun because I was falling asleep at work. Now the catch here is that most burger places that serve chicken tend to taste like chicken cooked with beef flavor - not at burger express. The chicken tastes like charbroiled chicken without the beef aftertaste. So now I have the chicken burger that looks like more of a salad. They always are accommodating and every time, produces a nice burger that I completely enjoy. That and a bag of potato chips is enough to be filling and keep me awake at work. Cheers to burger express. The only thing I wished they would consider is the option to have red onions. That would take this burger to the next level.

The restaurant was already busy right when they opened, so I definitely recommend making reservations in advance. Even with how packed it was, the service was warm, attentive, and everything came out beautifully paced. The food was incredible across the board. The chicken schnitzel is always my go-to and my mom completely understood the hype; crispy, flavorful, and perfectly balanced with the slaw and rice. The scallops were packed with flavor and cooked perfectly, and the burrata bread pudding appetizer was such a standout that the whole table was talking about it. We also tried the tapioca dessert (not pictured) and I already know I'll be ordering it again next time. One of those places that manages to feel lively and trendy while still being comfortable and welcoming. Great food, great atmosphere, and consistently one of my favorite dinner spots in the city.

Oh man this is a great restaurant! Good quality food that's actually cooked to order and great…read moreservice. Very clean and tidy. Also, they offer hand sanitizer in multiple areas of the restaurant. My family and I came here after running a few errands. We had never been here before and just wanted a quick burger and fries. Hopes weren't high, because the expectations were low. To our surprise we realized all three store fronts were connected. It's big, and open and very easy to social distance. The menu is cool because the mexican place next door has a menu all their own but can be ordered at burger broiler. Do you can get mexican and American food all in one place which is cool. My little got corn dogs and the rest of us had burgers and shared a shrimp basket. The prices are what you would expect for a combo meal from a fancy franchise with a drive thru but a few dollars less. It's giving very much diner with fast food prices. The food is good. Fresh hand made French fries. None of that frozen stuff. They don't skimp on the meat for the burgers. Very filling. I had a chicken sandwich and oh wow. It was filling and flavorful and almost familiar. It came out quick and piping hot. Only drawbacks and the reason they didn't get 5 stars is the parking situation. It sucks. It's very strange how the lot is set up and there's no signs saying that all that parking belongs to them. So if you don't know they are all one thing you assume there's no parking for that establishment. The bathroom was very aesthetically pleasing, but it had a funky moldy smell. The booths had all sorts of food in them, but there is no reason you shouldn't try it if you haven't. Love it here!! 10 out of 10 recommended.

Berliner Beerhall - Pretzel - hot, buttery with mustard and cheese

Recently stopped in here for a date night with the wife…read more We've been looking for a decent replacement ever since Tacoma lost the Rhein Haus. Since my wife is of German heritage, brats and kraut are a thing in our life. The menu here looked really good, so we stopped in our 29th anniversary. I will say, there is a parking lot across the street. For those who've been in the area for a while and remember past times, it used to be a used car lot Luckily I found an empty spot on the street right out front, so I grabbed it. But yeah, parking in this area can be tricky. Just be aware that there is the lot across the street on Puyallup Avenue, the entrance is from "Court A", which looks like an alley but is technically a road. Tacoma is fun like that. So let's talk food. We ordered the Brätzel, because my wife loves a good soft pretzel with some beer cheese. This one states that it's a beer cheese soup, and it was a bit thinner than a typical beer cheese. But it had a really good flavor. It was not gritty at all like some beer cheese can be (I'm looking at you Hops&Drops). I'm not a huge pretzel fan, but I will say that I tried a portion of it and enjoyed this one. The pretzel had a good flavor and the beer cheese soup was great. We also split the Landjäger / Käse Platte. Let's get one thing clear, this thing is bigger than it looks on the menu. There's a lot here. I'm really not sure exactly which of the four cheese were which. If you go by the description on the Käse Platte then it should be Bavaria Bleu Crème, Raclette, Emmentaler and Butterkäse. The Bleu Crème is easy to spot. The rest look similar really. But each had a unique flavor and all tasted absolutely wonderful. The cured beef and pork sausages were good, but the cheese stole the show here. We also shared the Berliner Platte for a main. Again, I can not stress this enough, there is A LOT of food here. the two of us had no chance of eating all this. This plate comes with the following sausages; Berliner Bratwurst, Smoked Cheese, Spicy Cheese, Chicken Andouille & Bockwurst as well as being served with sauerkraut and you get to pick two sides. We chose the Spätzle and Pommes (fries). All of this was amazing. The spicy sausage and the andouille were too spicy for my wife, but we knew that going in. If you have a group and are wanting to sample the many wursts here, I would highly recommend this plate. Now, let's talk service. I don't remember our server's name, but she was so great. Very friendly, very tentative, very good at her job. This was exactly the kind of service I look for when I go out to a restaurant. I don't want some tablet where I'm interacting with a faceless machine, I don't want a kiosk, I want a real person who engages with us and helps make our experience the best it can be, and this place gets it. The staff here is on point, they are good, they take good care of you and the experience made s want to come back. This place is for sure at the top of our list for German food here in Tacoma. If you have not been, you need to stop by. It's not big, it's not fancy, you'll drive right by it if you aren't paying attention. But this place is by far the perfect replacement for our missing sausage haus. We are so glad we stopped in.

As we arrived, we weren't sure if needed to seat ourselves but by the time we were about to look at a sign, a kind waitress let us know that we can seat ourselves anywhere and brought us menus. I saw that they had tables with fires which was really cool but unfortunately there were a lot of people sitting there so we just sat at the longer tables. The interior of this place is huge and bright! They have plenty of seating inside and it looks like they do outdoor seating which is dog friendly. We were told that they will have days where they have musicians playing German music and that it attracts quite a large crowd. Our waitress Sara was hilarious, personable and did a great job of taking care of us. She really made the visit all the more memorable and fun! We did order a lot: Berliner Platter with chips and spatzle, Berliner Sliders with fries and a bratzel. We did not realize just how huge the portions were for everything, like the platter was going to be big but we weren't expecting the amount of food for other order. Everything tasted absolutely amazing though! We really enjoyed everything and they do not mess around with flavors cause you taste exactly what they advertised. The house made chips were also fantastic and probably some of the best I've ever had. My boyfriend and I are excited to return and definitely will be sharing this spot to others as we thought we had to drive to Leavenworth for good German food but it is closer to home than we thought!
