A local burger gem. Kind of want to gate keep but I will let you in on this secret. Fresh hot burgers, fries and THE BEST fresh banana shake. Bought a double patty with Tillamook Cheese and grilled onions... messy deliciousness. Fries were well seasoned. Get the special sauce for dipping! The shake was kept cold in the fridge since I ordered online. Super cute retro vibe... If you have not tried it... go

Tiny classic burger stand in Fife. Run by a bunch of friendly young people serving up made-to-order burgers, shoe string fries, chili and milkshakes. Because the burgers are made to order, they can be customized. You can get chili on your fries too! The milkshakes are made with real ingredients, none of the packaged stuff. What I really like you can get grilled onions with your burger. There are also hot fudge sundae and banana split you can enjoy outside on the picnic tables. On cold days, lots of takeout orders or just eat in your car!

    This is what you see.

We like to find those hidden gems when we wandered and this may be one...so far so good. We stopped by to get the 13yo a burger...and me a coney dog. The kid ordered a double cheese burger with bacon. He said it was okay, saying the patty was small and bland...keep in mind he salts everything...even salty fries...I know... My coney was decent, the dog was a bit salty and so was the chili...I still ate it all using the chili as dipping sauce. There's a good chance we may stop back...

The burgers are always great here and until my bite with the onions, it was as good as always(I'm allergic to onions). Unfortunately, I had to throw half of it away. To settle my stomach afteewards, I ordered a hot fudge/peanut butter milkshake. I'm never shy about feedback so I mentioned my hamburger had onions on it when I oedered my shake while reaching for my wallet to pay for it. The nice lady bdhing the counter gave me the shake and apologized for the onions. I was impressed. I was going to order a shake for dessert anyway. Now hat's some great creat customer service. The only reason I even give restaurants reviews and feedback, is to make sure they have happy customers and stay in business, especially the restaurants I like. I know how unforgiving customers are since customer service is my business. I very much appreciared the surprise gift. Well done Quick Pick. I've enjoyed every visit and will be back again soon with friends for some more great old fashioned burgers and shakes, like ones I used to enjoy when I was a kid.

The burgers weren't terrible and the staff was nice! Unfortunately my Diet Coke was flat and they gave me no ice, but were nice enough to give me a new soda (also with no ice). I don't know if this is common practice as I've never seen anything stored on the floor in any food service I have ever worked, but I saw that they keep their onions on the ground. I also watched the main cook walk out of the kitchen, touch multiple door handles and other things, not change his gloves or wash his hands, and then proceeded to touch our buns and our burgers. It was a little off-putting and i think we just won't return.

We use to eat here very often. 10 years ago we moved out of state. Today we flew in to visit family, said to hubby "need some lunch first" he remembered this place....BINGO that was some really good grub. Love you guys.

Stopped by Pick Quick Drive-In in Fife, and I appreciated that they now accept credit cards. It definitely makes things more convenient compared to their previous cash-only setup. There's plenty of outdoor seating, and it actually feels like they've added more since my last visit. The parking lot, however, is still a bit chaotic and unmarked, which isn't a problem when it's empty but gets tricky during peak hours. As always, the food hits the spot after stopped by the dealership with their classic drive-in fare done right. It can feel a bit heavy depending on what you order. Service is fast and no-frills, which matches the old-school vibe. It's a solid local spot for a quick and satisfying meal when you're craving burgers and shakes. JY review

Cute drive-in burger joint. Love that they have picnic tables out on the lawn behind their location. Great place to visit when the weather is nice and warm out.

Quick, friendly, efficient. Haven't been here in a long time. Just flew in from flying from Dubai and we wanted something delish and quick and this was a great stop on the way home. Staff is friendly and I know it's "normally" busy and with a long line I walked ordered and waited maybe 10 min for 2 burgers and fries.

Great small drive in. Looks run down and extremely old....the outside is so outdated and everything there from the signs and building are probably in its original form! Even the menu is super vintage. Regardless of how old this place is, when we pulled up, there was a line! Drive in burgers are my favorite so we got 3 cheeseburger's, a double cheeseburger, fries, and a Diet Coke. The burger did not disappoint. The fry sauce was delicious and the Diet Coke was a great way to wash down the yummy goodness. The burgers were the perfect size. The fries were fresh cut and also hot and crispy. They weren't soggy so that was great. Everything we got really hit the spot!

    Fries

2 Double Cheeseburgers, 2 fries, 1 Lemonade and 1 Oreo Cookie Shake totaled to about $30 total. A bit on the pricey side when you start adding things up, but a good place to try at-least once. Solid burgers, crispy and salty fries, with a cute grassy area and picnic tables to sit down at. Mustardy based burger sauce if you like tang vs a mayo/ketchup kind, and decent wait period for food to be ready. Lemonade tastes like it's made from a powder mix and milkshake tastes similar to a milk and cookies shake at cold stone.

We came to Pick-Quick yesterday to get some classic burgers and milkshakes. I ordered their Hot fudge milkshake and enjoyed it with some fries. They have a lovely outdoor seating area with picnic tables to enjoy your food on a sunny day. There are two downsides to Pick Wick though, at least this one. 1. They do not provide bathrooms at this location. We would love to have stayed for longer, but couldn't due to this. 2. They do not offer cheeseless burger patties at all. This is a shame, the more ways there are to eat a burger, the better! I like them a lot, but they do have some room to improve. I don't think it is hard to provide a cheese free patty option for those who want it. With that said, their milkshakes appear to be their strong suit-I love their range of flavors!

Eye catching visuals don't matter On top of that, they have customers come in through one door on the side and then exit through a sliding glass door which has people standing in front of it because there is no where else to wait. Truly a bizarre and awkward execution all around which seems to make their poor employees easily flustered when things get busy. Their ice cream isn't worth mentioning really. We all found it flavorless and icy. We won't be giving them a third chance.

So five stars and a review based on my observations as the spouse of a Dairy Bar ice cream loving man! Ha! We all have our Fair favorites. I need a scone and he needs an ice cream cone every time we go. And the Dairy Bar does not disappoint. Go early if you can- after dinner time the line is often about 20 minutes long. For the Spring Fair just the outside walk-up window is open. But for the fall Puyallup Fair the larger restaurant space is open. No tables and chairs but they usually have benches and definitely more service windows open inside. The line moves relatively quickly considering how many people are here. We always have great service and the counter staff is so friendly! Really - this type of customer service is so admirable considering they serve thousands of ice cream treats a day! The menu is nice and simple: Ice cream. Vanilla, chocolate or Strawberry. They can do swirls of two flavors too. My husband loves the vanilla and chocolate swirl cones. I swear as soon as they hand it to him he's immediately transported back to childhood. It's really sweet to see that gleeful sparkle in his eye when they hand over the giant swirl cone. I think this is a common occurrence here- lots and lots of families lined up always for that taste of sweet ice cream from the Dairy Farmers of Washington!

The guy taking orders was extremely rude, acted like we were an inconvenience, and honestly shouldn't be working with customers at all. To make it worse, he was on his phone while working, which caused the line to move unbelievably slow. We waited close to 20 minutes just to get through the line because he was more focused on his phone conversation than doing his job. When we finally got our food, our order was missing items, and on top of that we tried to asked for sauce (their was none in the bag) and he says "yeah you can have sauce for $1.10 -in a very rude/condescending tone" charged for sauces that should have been included for free since we ordered chicken nuggets is an absolute scam. And to top it all off, when we finally received our food it was cold, like it had been sitting there forever. Between the rude attitude, long wait, missing food, cold food, and being overcharged, this experience was beyond frustrating! I won't be coming back, and I seriously hope management addresses this because it was unacceptable.
