I've been stopping at this Wendy's for decades. It's always been one of my reliable fast-food stops. It has easy freeway access right off I-5 (Fife Exit)?and is open from 6 AM to 2 AM, which makes it a great option when many other restaurants have already closed. Since COVID, late-night dining options have become much more limited, so I appreciate having this open extended hours. I honestly can't believe I've never written a review for this Wendy's before because I've probably been here hundreds of times over the years. Tonight I stopped in because I had been hearing about the new Chocolate (or Vanilla) Frosty with Banana Swirl, and as someone who absolutely loves the frozen chocolate-covered banana slices from Costco, I had to give it a try. I also ordered a 10-piece Chicken Nuggets with Sweet Chili sauce and my longtime Wendy's favorite--a Small Chili with extra onions, extra shredded cheese, and light sour cream. If you haven't tried it that way, I highly recommend it! I usually add half a packet of Wendy's hot sauce, two packages of saltine crackers. It's one of my favorite fast-food meals at only **420 calories with 24 grams of protein.** With a Wendy's offer applied to my order, my total came to **just $9.55 including tax** for a chili, 10-piece nuggets, two Sweet Chili dipping sauces, and the specialty Banana Chocolate Frosty. I thought that was an excellent value for everything I received. The drive-thru took a little longer than usual, but it was obvious the employees were doing their best. I think one of the crew members was brand new. He was polite, kept saying, "Gotcha!" with a smile, and although a few things were accidentally missed, I appreciated his attitude. We've all been new at a job before, and I'd much rather see someone trying hard than someone who doesn't care. **Chocolate Banana Frosty** This ended up being the highlight of my meal! At first I honestly thought they had forgotten the banana because the first few bites tasted exactly like a regular Chocolate Frosty. Then I realized almost all of the banana syrup had settled to the bottom of the cup! Once I stirred everything together, it was delicious. The banana flavor reminded me of banana Laffy Taffy, but without that overly artificial aftertaste that banana-flavored desserts sometimes have. Ironically, they gave me too much banana syrup! I'd much rather have too much than none at all, though. With the normal amount of banana, this easily would have been a **9/10**. Even with the extra syrup, I'd still rate it an **8/10**, and next time I want to try the **Vanilla Frosty with Banana Swirl** for comparison. The nuggets had a surprisingly good chicken flavor and tasted like real breast meat. They weren't fresh out of the fryer, and a couple had clearly been sitting for a little while, but overall they were still moist and enjoyable. The Sweet Chili dipping sauce was also a pleasant surprise. I usually order McDonald's Sweet & Sour because I like sweeter sauces, but Wendy's Sweet Chili had a nice balance. It was just a little spicier than I personally prefer. If they dialed back the heat just a touch, I think it would be nearly perfect. My chili was loaded with extra onions exactly as I requested (which made me happy!), although my sour cream and crackers were accidentally left out. Overall, despite a few small mistakes, I left feeling like the employees genuinely cared and were working hard. Good customer service isn't always about perfection--sometimes it's about attitude--and everyone I interacted with was friendly and doing their best. I just left this place... Both people who got food in front of me had both of their orders messed up. The woman in front of me had hers messed up not once, not twice, but three times! With only these two people in front of me, we spent probably 15 minutes in line just waiting to order. The staff didn't even seem to know what they were doing. There was no coordination or communication with the people in line, and all in all, those disappointing interactions have turned me away from this Wendy's. If you're in this area trying to find food, go somewhere else unless you have a cult following for Wendy's. read more

Swung by today to get the two for three dollar breakfast special sadly the English muffin was very hard cold and overcooked. You could tell it been sitting under a light for a while. The other sandwich I didn't even eat because it was also cold waste the three dollars and some change I wish I wouldn't have stopped yet the customer service was great. The ambience I wouldn't know because I went through the drive-through, but the food was definitely disappointing even though the price was right but it still wasted my time and my three dollars, but at least I was able to give my other sandwich and get a water for the homeless guy on the corner. 1 Star - Horrible Service & Rude Employee (2/9/26) I had one of the worst fast food experiences I've ever had at this Wendy's on 2/9/26. The guy taking orders was extremely rude, acted like we were an inconvenience, and honestly shouldn't be working with customers at all. To make it worse, he was on his phone while working, which caused the line to move unbelievably slow. We waited close to 20 minutes just to get through the line because he was more focused on his phone conversation than doing his job. When we finally got our food, our order was missing items, and on top of that we tried to asked for sauce (their was none in the bag) and he says "yeah you can have sauce for $1.10 -in a very rude/condescending tone" charged for sauces that should have been included for free since we ordered chicken nuggets is an absolute scam. And to top it all off, when we finally received our food it was cold, like it had been sitting there forever. Between the rude attitude, long wait, missing food, cold food, and being overcharged, this experience was beyond frustrating! Idk who was on fryer at 1:20 am on 11-18-24 but those fries were the most delicious satisfying and perfect French fries I have ever acquired from Wendy's or any fast food establishment. Little things mean a lot, people. I realize having customers is an inconvenience when you're an hour and a half away from closing time. Seriously, we didn't mean to cause you any trouble by giving you our business. But my husband had just gotten off work and was on his way home, and he's got quite a commute. I'd been home with the flu all day, so I didn't feel much like cooking. Of course, since somebody apparently didn't plan ahead, you had run out of both forks and full-size salad containers. Forks, no big deal. We have forks at home. The containers are another matter. Let me explain to you what other business have done in that situation. When I was buying cat litter at PetSmart, and was injured at the time and couldn't lift a 40-pound bag, the management was considerate enough to sell me two 20-pound bags for the price of a 40. When the Safeway deli near my job had run out of salad sampler containers, they simply used other containers to fill my order, and charged me the price of a salad sampler. But would you sell my husband two half-size salads for the price of one full-size? No, it was too much trouble for you to make that accommodation. Am I making too big a deal over a minor issue? Maybe, but it's precisely BECAUSE it was such a minor thing and you weren't willing to do it, that ticks me off. The human touch is what gets repeat business. Horrible business and sloppy food, the managers after hours or terrible. The line is wrapped around the building and all they can say is short staff but really they are just lazy. They have a sign saying $14.50 plus $200 and free meal bonus as if the workers are slaves. I can tell you that in this economy the cost of living is too high to accept $1100 before taxes. They handed me a frosty w/some on outside of cup. I asked for a napkin, they said they were out. There wasn't one in the bag w/hamburger either. The hamburger was cold. It took a half hour to get my food. There were not even 10 vehicles in line. If that's all the better they can do, they should change professions. Mostly I wanted to give a shout out to one worker: Brian; he is working like he's making his way to the top. Whether it's the top of Wendy's, or the top of another company some day, this guy is working at the top of his game. Taking orders, cleaning the lobby, sweeping the floor all with a huge smile... Been here several times, Personally this Wendy's is one of the better fast food joints in Fife- still I try to avoid Fife due to all the red light cameras and the Fife cops, but back to the business here- the lot is easy to get in and out of, and the employees here are very courteous and prompt. The prices are reasonable and in general what you expect when you come here, and I like how the meat taste fresh, not frozen like some other burger joints. read more

why 5 stars? this review is based solely on the quality and taste sensation of a chicken apple pecan full-size salad that i had the pleasure of eating today from this location in fife, wa. this is one of the best salads i have eaten in the past 5 or 10 years... that i have had anywhere! even from restaurants! wendy's, you guys have NAILED the perfect salad. and i loved that it was under 600 calories. i mean, yeah, 570 calories is a lot for a salad (including a packet of dressing) but i ate it at like 12:30 at work and I was truly full until about 5:30pm - no lie. i love the dressing that comes with it too (which if i recall was like a pomegranate vinaigrette) - i wish i could buy a bottle of it somewhere. and ... only 60 calories for a dressing packet is another "plus." and the candied pecans... fresh apples...blue cheese crumbles....OMG. ok so yeah. can't wait to get it again. oh and the girl at the window was nice and quick too :) read more

Wendy's has to be my favorite go to for Hamburgers. I don't know many places that grill their burgers. Here's my negative. The last 3 times we have been at the Fife location drive thru we have been about 7 or 8 cars back before the order area sitting the waiting for the cars to move. Tonight 2 cars ahead actually left ahead and we momentarily followed after sitting for more than 24 minutes. We eventually left and went next door to Taco Bell. What in the world is making the Fife location Wendy's so slow. They are definitely losing business by people leaving in line! We hit this place for burgers recently. I love Wendy's- their fries are hands-down the best fries around. The window service was great (drive-thru). They were friendly and responsive. That's hard to find these days. The food we got was standard, tasty Wendy's fare, so no issues there. The lower score is because one of the burgers was wrong. We ordered a plain burger (nothing but meat and bun) and got a plain cheeseburger, which the person it was ordered for couldn't eat. By the time we knew that, we were home. read more
