Onto Yelp and we find Brazzas. 4-1/2 stars on 55 reviews - let's look. The place is nice, but unassuming. We walked up to the counter and the friendly lady and gentleman (I'd guess husband and wife) cheerfully took our order - a whole chicken dinner. We were told it would be about 15 minutes for a chicken to be ready and we agreed to wait. How can you complain about getting fresh food? We got our chicken that came with a salad with avocado and rice and beans. The beans were not your typical Latin beans. These were white beans that were not swimming in sauce. The salad was nothing special, but was fresh. The chicken was excellent! Well cooked, juicy and tasty. The green sauce for the chicken was terrific too, not too spicy as some tend to be. I'm happy to add Brazzas to our Connecticut 95 food list!

We were welcomed by the bartender (Rhein) who was also our waitress. She was AMAZING! Since it was our first time here she explained how everytging is made from scratch in house except for the onion rings. (Her honesty is greatly appreciated) For starters my wife got the tripe soup and I had the cheese cascava (mozzarella sticks). Its drizzled with balsamic and incredible. My wife couldn't decide between 2 dishes so Rhein said "I'll be right back". She comes back and said the kitchen will make the smaller portions of both for her if she would like. (It's was the early bird specials but we weren't within the time frame) So OF COURSE she did that. I got the bacon cheeseburger. The food was delicious! My wife is from Poland and she said the Traditional Stew reminded her of back home. Every employee were super friendly and welcoming. Rhein even took us for a little tour of the place and told us the history. If we lived closer we'd be here once a week. We'll settle for once a month....maybe more. Thank you Rhein and the staff for making our first experience amazing.

So basically she was not checking on the status of our order for over 30 mins !! There were only 4 tables with customers and 2 were done eating. There were 2 servers! Our food was finally delivered after the other table, who arrived way after us. After waiting for an hour our food was not even hot! My daughter's sandwich had burnt bacon (this is the new replacement for what she originally ordered). Our server was nowhere to be seen after we were done so we asked the other server for a box and our bill. Finally our server arrives with the bill. No apology for the delay or poor service, no acknowledgment of the service failure at all. Paid full price!! We will not come back and sharing that one of the waitress is just awful!

I'd seen this place recommended on Yelp a few times but had never made it over until today. When we walked in, we honestly thought they were closed because there was only one four-top occupied and one person sitting at the bar. She had the OG breakfast sandwich, a classic that really hit the spot. I ordered the Madame Monsieur with fries, and everything was cooked perfectly. The food tasted fresh and made to order, which is always appreciated. Our server, Angelina, also made an excellent mimosa the orange juice to Prosecco ratio was just right (a small detail that makes a big difference!). Service was on the slower side, but from what we could tell, Angelina was the only server working, so it was understandable. The restaurant itself is small, cozy, and has the charm of a little café, making it a nice place to enjoy a relaxed brunch. Overall, a very enjoyable first visit. I'll definitely be back to try more from the menu.

The restaurant was clean and quaint, and the western beef theme was done just right -- fun without feeling over the top. We started with the beef nachos and they were absolutely perfect! I ordered the pickled jalapeños and onions on the side for my dining companion and was secretly thrilled I didn't have to share them. The burger flight featuring their top three burgers was phenomenal. Every burger was flavorful, perfectly cooked, and memorable enough that I immediately regretted not ordering the onion rings too. The chef even came out to make sure everything met expectations, which was a really nice touch. Heather was a lovely server -- warm, friendly, and attentive throughout the meal. I also heard these burgers are going to be featured on a food road show soon, and after eating here, I completely understand why. They were excellent. If we're back in town, this will absolutely be a repeat stop. Highly recommend Prime BGR for both the outstanding food and the great value!

That kind of hospitality matters. The vibe? Cool, modern, slightly moody -- perfect accidental Valentine's dinner energy. The service was on point all night. Attentive, smooth, and genuinely warm. Now let's talk about the moment that activated my Dominican DNA. I ordered the Sweet Plantains with Cilantro Aioli as an appetizer and when I saw plátanos on that menu? My son ordered a burger with truffle fries and I am STILL thinking about those fries today. Crispy. Perfect salt. That truffle flavor hit just right. Those fries deserve their own review. And because it was Valentine's Day and I believe in celebrating myself too, I had the Pineapple Express. Divine. Tropical. Smooth. The kind of drink that keeps the gozadera going.
