This is my go to when I want something quick. I have no complaints. It was a line so I waited for maybe 10mins before I made it to the ordering screen. I order the Biggie Bag junior bacon cheeseburger you get nuggets, fries, and a drink. Everything was fresh Wendy's gave what needed to be given and I wasn't mad. Went for dinner at Wendy's, 1705 Scott Blvd, Decatur ... and they got our order wrong, had overcharged us at $10.19 for a $9.29 combo, gave us one that does not even exist anywhere on menu, then blamed it on the 'RTI system,' then us, and did not offer or provide a refund, said they had given us extra food when it was just the order we had actually placed, then argued that we were somehow at fault. We both know what we clearly ordered, and had reconfirmed the order. So they gave us a chicken sandwich by error when we had clearly ordered a 'Big Bacon Cheddar' burger a $9.29 Combo with the basic items, no up charges. There was literally nothing on the posted menu for $10.19 for any combo. There was no 'Spicy Big Bacon Cheddar' anywhere to be found on any menu, which they charged us for which they insisted was a chicken sandwich. I requested that if they were going to charge that, they should update the posted menu. To top it off, they said they had provided a replacement and double the patty for the burger at no charge ... but the picture showed a double paddy for that burger already, and the staff agreed but the manager insisted it was only one normally. 'Have a good night,' they said ... and wanted us to leave. I argued for far too long as they were not going to budge. It is not about the $0.90 difference ... it was about the errors, the rudeness, the inability to accept that they over charged, and their unwillingness to even acknowledge anything. Done. Never going back. Horrible customer service. No wonder no one else was eating there with such treatment of customers. Wendy's has unfortunately become so bad and it used to be such high quality. Recently remodeled but churning out the same old - old food. I had hoped they would improve on the quality as it's a quick meal and convenient for us in a pinch. Several times, all I needed was a quick couple of baked potatoes.my hubby now says just start cooking yours more often than not. Recently, we went through the drive though and I ordered a spicy chicken sandwich and a baked potato! Ha. The pictures say it all. Old tomatoes,a sad piece of lettuce, no mayo (is hitch might be good) and an over cooked chicken. Baked potato must have been here for a decade and just redound and reheated. Working in fast food with various people and personality types can drain you. I get it. I worked in retail before; however, it doesn't mean you should provide good service - at bare minimum. I will likely refrain from going here again, if I can help it. I was in a rush and I needed to eat, but it didn't mean I wanted to sacrifice having a semi- quick tasty bite. Wendy's in general has been losing it rep as far as quality and service. However, franchises like this one contribute to the problem. The food was old. The service sucked. I hope the owner and management sees this. Refresh your team. Enforce quality. If you're there to work, remember you also agreed to get paid by them for them. First, restaurant in disrepair. Used drive-thru and the menu board has parts hanging off of it. Secondly, the older female that took my order over the speaker was extremely unfriendly; I told her at the window she didn't have to get mad, correcting me, about how I ordered my tea. The other woman that handed me my order at the window was equally abrupt. I asked her for a straw and she rudely told me it was in the bag. I was afraid to eat the food after such treatment. Something has changed here within the last 6 months. What ever they have done it is working. Most Fast food restaurants today are terrible. the food is prepared poorly, you have to wait a while for them to get it to you, and thee employees are surly or indifferent. This place is an exception. The drive-thru is very fast, like how they were in the 80s, and the food is prepare properly: crispy hot fries, cool crisp lettuce and hot meat. The Employees are also smiling and friendly. Like most people I am typically only motivated to write a review on Yelp when I get bad service but I had to commend them because it is so rare these days to get good, fast service from anyone, let alone a fast food chain. First was told frosty machine was down. Okay, cool, I needed a minute to rethink drink, since I only really came for the frosty and the worker rudely cuts me off and ask for another order. Then, once I get to the window, I'm hastily handed my food and quickly shuts window. I check my food and my fries were literally hard as rocks. Could snap them in half and hear a crunch. So once the girl comes back to the window, since I'm sure she thought I'll drive off, I showed her the fries she just handed me and how inedible they we're and tell her i'll be getting new fries, she tells me to drive around front. Takes over 5 minutes to get new fries. At this point, i'm fed up because now I've tasted my nuggets and realized how hard and dry they were and that I'll need a refund all together. There he is in the back, I tell him someone went to get him for me and I shit you not goes "I just disregarded it because we aren't supposed to do refunds and I can get fired." The drive through evening crew is lazy. Twice in the last two weeks the person taking order didn't actually take the order. It didn't show in the screen but he told me to drive up to the window. He isn't even the drive-thru order taker or food bagger but he somehow felt the need to cut me off while ordering and tell me to pull up so I had to give my drink order to the cashier in person. When I picked up my food at the next window, this person, who had the general appearance and demeanor of a crack cocaine user, stood in the food pass with the food bagger and mocked me with the same exact same phrase I used to place my order, then said "We ain't got time for that bullshit" and "Ain't nobody got time for that shit, fuck" and continued to spout profanity and laugh with another male who was standing in the doorway to the food prep area. This Wendy's has the nicest, friendliest manager I've seen at a fast food restaurant in YEARS! Her name is Deborah and she is freaking AWESOME! She let me experience the Strawberry Passion fruit Chiller they have advertised without me having to ask. When she said "I think all my customers should sample our new products before making a purchase", I was just overwhelmed. Honestly, if it hadn't been for the ridiculous traffic right out front, I wouldn't have stopped....but as soon as she let me try it, not only was I hooked, but I purchased a whole meal and I wasn't even hungry! This franchise location can be described with one simple phrase: A disgrace nestled in the heart of Decatur. Dave Thomas lived a shorter period of time than it took to receive our modest order. I asked him about "Do you have Unseated tea?" he just looked around and said "yes!". well He took the empty cup and filled w/ ice and drop couples of ice around the table...!... and then he noticed and drop the ice ON THE FLOOR! and I noticed then, how much the floor, behind the counter was dirty?
