Taste-wise, I found this to be a very good Wendy's. My Cheeseburger had a scalloped bun, fresh lettuce and tomato, and good cheese--even if the establishment wouldn't make the beef patty medium rare. As usual, an excellent Small heat hot Chili was served which contained Kidney Beans and Pinto Beans, cuts of White Onions, and tomato bits, plus pieces of Red Onion that were added on request. A Medium Frosty was cold, thick, smooth, and very good, as well. So, the food here on my one stop while passing through the Midwest was very good. But there were just too many food preparation errors: a wrong size Frosty initially presented, wrong size Fries, and no requested small cups of water produced on the first attempt. I had to keep going back to the counter to get the mistakes corrected.

They will take forever to ask for your order when there are no cars in line and don't respond politely

Typical Wendy's. Decent fast food. Drive thru has to be the slowest in Dayton. Doesn't matter the time of day.

Always get the wrong order, super slow, and rude. Every time I go here the costumer service never improves.

I thought this place was a great find in Huber Heights. Apparently, it has been there since 2017…read morebut I have never noticed it even though it is right up the road from my in-laws' place. It is not their type of food so they would have never mentioned it. We found it recently when my wife and I were looking for a quick lunch option while on an errand. The building shape looks like it is a small hole-in-the-wall fast food place, and that's pretty much what it is. It makes sense when one considers that Victor's is designed to compete with TB. This place is clean and tidy, but quite small and relatively simple with seating for 30 - 40 people. It's more set up for take out than dine in, but you can certainly eat there if you'd like. This was apparently the fourth Dayton franchise. In the bigger picture, they have seven (7) in Ohio and four (4) in Tennessee. Hence, they are small enough to provide that friendly Mom-and-Pop quaintness without that stale corporate vibe. The menu here is a bit more extensive with homier touches compared to TB. They were relatively complete with their variety of Mexican fare and part of their offering is Mexican street food. We were there for lunch so we went a little bit to the light side with tacos. My wife had the shredded chicken tacos and I had the chorizo, egg and cheese tacos. I loved that they had the breakfast tacos as an option. The food was very good. The woman who waited on us was very pleasant and seemed quite interested in making sure we got exactly what we wanted. The prices were also quite fair as we got away with less than $10 per person with water to drink. My only small complaint was that their drinks were limited and the machine was constituted of Pepsi products, which do not suit us. We would have been happy to substitute iced tea but they did not offer it. The dining area, while relatively spartan, was certainly adequate to allow us a place to sit and eat our order. I thought this place was quite good and we would try it again for a quick meal when we're in the area. It's a tasty inexpensive option, particularly for lunch. It's very good for what it is and delivers commensurate with its purpose.

Highlight: 2 Carne Asada Soft Taco ($9.98), Horchata ($2.50)…read more Horchata tasted a bit watered down, with a hint of cinnamon. Sweet and refreshing, very light flavor. The meat is a bit seared, making it crispy and tougher to chew. Fresh veggies. Good sauce, with a kick. Hospitality: The cashier was friendly, and the food came out about 10 minutes after ordering. Honorable Mention: Small shop, limited seating indoors.

First impression? It definitely gives off biker bar vibes from the outside, but once you step inside, it's way more welcoming and laid back than you'd expect. Good atmosphere, friendly people, and the kind of place that feels like a hidden local favorite. I ordered the Biker Burger, and it absolutely delivered. The burger was juicy, flavorful, cooked perfectly, and packed with great taste in every bite. You can tell they care more about making good food than trying to be fancy. If you're making the trip to Buc-ee's and want something local instead of chain fast food, Rip Rap Roadhouse is definitely worth the stop. Great burger, cool atmosphere, and one of those places you're happy you discovered by accident.

Really cool place -- a classic on northside of Dayton & easy to access off of I-70 or I-75…read more Officially between Huber Heights & Vandalia but really just outside North Dayton off of Little York Road & Waggoner Ford. Classic tavern setting but great outside deck & patio. Room for live music and both bar & restaurant seating. Service is casual and friendly but efficient and smooth. Food is casual but barbecue and smoked wings are where it is at! Homemade kettle chips are good & the onion rings are real & crunchy! Beer is cold & plentiful, and the bar is stocked. When I am going from west to east or north to south, this and the Buckhorn Tavern are my two must haves! Highly recommend!
