Staff was nice and accommodating. The pop machine was broken and they got us fresh drinks from the back! Clean dining room and bathrooms.

Breakfast ordered a baconator breakfast sandwich. Very disappointed not like the breakfast sandwich was supposed to be. Had to wait on it then when I finally get to eat it not the amount of bacon that was supposed to be on it. Poorly made very disappointed in Wendy's breakfast sandwich. If the reviews are true and there are roaches climbing walls and also found in the food then why hasn't this restaurant been shut down? Sounds crazy to me that would be happening with establishments being held to a certain standard not to mention the sanitation and safety standards. Who is in charge of inspections around here anyway? This is absolutely the worst restaurant in town. They are ALWAYS out of something. One day they're out of chicken. The next day, it's bacon. They NEVER have any salads. You will be told the drive through only accepts cash. Your food is cold when they finally have an item in stock. The service is slow and the attitudes are terrible! They'll close a half an hour earlier than the posted time. Terrible, terrible business! Fire the entire staff and start from scratch! read more

Service is absolutely horrible. I only keep going back because I am addicted to the strawberry frostys And each time we have been there has been an experience. First time for frosty, ordered large w no problems. Paper cup, clearly a large. Second time waited in line forever. Ordered. Got to window. I'm sorry we are out of strawberry frosty. Third time, waited in line forever again (drive thru), ordered a large strawberry frosty. Got to window paid, girl handed us small frosty, when questioned she said, that's our large tonight. Was in complete disbelief and drove away. Frosty in hand. Fourth. Ordered, at window, told the gentleman at the window what happened the time before with sixes, he said "yes, our management instructs us to do that, but I don't agree with it" yea, thanks for agreeing but they instruct their employees to be deceitful. WRONG We tried to call management and complain, was not able to get in touch with anyone local or corporate. Yesterday, ordered large again, it's clearly not a large (plastic cups now), clearly a medium but charging as a large. WRONG. There have been some visits that I do not have any comment, but overall - this location is HORRIBLE. Staff standing and talking to customer through drive up, with many cars behind and doesn't make it a quick conversation and if you have your window down while in line you can clearly hear that it's business talk, totally their friends. Then there are employees always standing behind the drive up person, being loud, rude and clearly do not have enough work to do. I would definitely tell you to avoid if possible but I will return since a strawberry frosty is part of my sweet tooth habits these days. read more

I only gave 1 star because I can't choose 0!! The staff is horrible!!! They got my order wrong (and not just mine, 3 people came back with incorrect orders). When we told them what happened, they didn't believe us first off, then wanted to charge on top of the total I ALREADY PAID. I will NEVER go back, and will make sure everyone I know is forewarned. Not only did I get the wrong food, I was handed 4 different bags in total before it was finally my order, and it still wasn't correct! the staff was rude, everyone seemed more focused on having fun and laughing it up in the kitchen instead of doing their basic job. Day 1: stopped on my way to work to get breakfast. I was asked to take a look at the menu and they'd be with me shortly. No cars in the drive thru. I waited 5 minutes and left. Day 2: stopped to get the breakfast sandwich special, buy 1 get one for $1. The sign out front and the ads on the store Windows were advertising this sale. I placed my order and got up to the window. I was told they couldn't get my order to ring up right, so the special must be over. She refused to give my food at the advertised price. Wendy's has lost my business. read more

I went to this location in 2016 and there were roaches escaping the kitchen and hiding behind a picture on the wall in the dining area. I figured since the remodel and 2 1/2 years the roach issue would have been resolved. Nope. On 1/4/2019 I went back and as I was placing my order there was a roach crawling down the wall in the kitchen. You can't tell me nobody working there doesn't know there is a serious infestation. Also, the dining area was filthy, so no wonder they have all those roaches. Disgusting. read more

Do not go to this wendy's. I told them i wanted an iced coffee and they kept trying to tell me i wanted the new coffee with the frosty in it. Then I ordered a salad and they didn't ask if i wanted a half or a full size. They went ahead and charged me for the full size. Then I also ordered baconator fries and the cheese was not melted and my fries were cold. There was a hair in my salad they wouldn't make me a fresh salad without tomatoes and they gave me a half salad instead of the full that they charged me for. This wendy's is TRASH read more

Have eaten at this Wendy's several times over the years with no major issues, mostly drive-thru visits. About a month ago we went inside and I noticed that the floors were dirty and the staff seemed to be new, as they were very unorganized. I decided to give them another try, so yesterday we went inside for lunch. I walked toward the ladies room prior to ordering and spotted a LIVE roach crawling up the wall by the hallway-restroom door. Needless to say, we turned around and quickly walked out, disgusted. From what I was able to notice during my fast walk, the entry/hallway also needed a good cleaning. Very disgusting, I will be calling the Vermilion County Dept. of Health...and will never go back to this place! read more

I have been here 4 times in the last 30 days. I will NOT go back. Rudest service I have ever received. Female manager sat in the lobby and talked about White people in such a bad way I felt uncomfortable. Then same female manager got in my face when the cashier told her I needed a double no mayo. She walked right up the cashier station and snapped at me asking me what was wrong with the one I ordered. I told her I just ordered it. I hadn't received it yet. She then said she wouldn't make it for me without the other one back. I had to tell her again that I just ordered it. I hadn't received it yet. They had their dining room closed at eight when the sign clearly says the dining room closes at ten. After knocking on the door I was told I would have to go back through drive thru. We did not receive a receipt. This is the same sort of thing that happened to the Wendy's across town and it was closed down. These people are rude an unaccomadating. I went to the drive-up and ordered a taco salad, full size. They said they were out of them, but had the 1/2 sizes. I said, "You make them there. Can't you make me one?" She didn't say yes or no just said, "Pull forward. " Then she opened the window with a snarl on her face and gave me my total and I paid. Then she SLAMMED the window in my face! She came back with the salad, THREW it through my window and SLAMMED her window again! Yesterday I went and ordered the same thing. Same thing....no full sizes, but they had 1/2 sizes. Again, I asked them to put one together. (After all, most of the salad I have to do myself...chili, tortilla chips, sour cream, dressing. To Whom It May Concern: I wanted to voice my displeasure at a recent experience I had at this particular Wendy's restaurant Thursday, November 19, 2009 around 5:15 PM. After my girlfriend and I had decided what to order we stepped up to the cash register where we encountered an employee by the name of "Symphony." We were not greeted, welcomed, or even acknowledged at first as "Symphony" was engaged in slowly, and somewhat confusingly, counting a stack of one dollar bills. Not at any point in time did "Symphony" think to address our presence on the other side of the counter or even say something to the extent of "Excuse me for one moment, please." Once she finally completed counting the money, she then looked up at my girlfriend and exclaimed, "Your lips look fake." No "Hello, how are you?" No "Welcome to Wendy's." Not even a "May I take your order?" I can assuredly say that is the rudest comment either of us have ever encountered at any business in our lives. Needless to say, we were both completely shocked that an employee of the restaurant we were visiting would say such a demeaning and hurtful comment to a paying customer and directly to our faces, no less. In retrospect, I wish we would have walked out at that point, because our experience was only downhill from there. After ordering our food we were disgusted to find that our 1/4 pound single hamburger was literally falling apart in the bun. Completely unappetizing, it appeared as though it had been scraped off the floor. I was quick to find the manager on duty, Chris, who happily ordered a fresh sandwich for us. Unfortunately, our experience had already been completely ruined. I find it sad that in this country's current economic recession where actually having a job is something to take pride in, it seems as though the employees of this Wendy's do not value the opportunity they possess in having a job. I'm sure there are millions of citizens nationwide who would gladly take their place. I also find it sad that the employees of this Wendy's have chosen to work in the field of customer service, yet they really have no regard or even an understanding of what "customer service" actually is. Does an international company like Wendy's provide any customer service training... Or will they just put any warm body in there these days? It pains me to write such a complaint to this establishment, as I have never needed to write out a formal complaint of this nature before. Not to mention that this particular restaurant has been a favorite of my family since I was a small child. However, I have come to realize that the Wendy's on North Vermilion Street in Danville, IL which I used to have many warm memories for no longer exists. Now all that remains is an unsanitary excuse for a fast-food restaurant with employees who insult you directly to your face. I highly doubt Dave Thomas had this vision in mind when he founded Wendy's. No matter though, I'll be more than happy to give my money to Steak 'N Shake where I can still find "service with a smile" and quality food at a reasonable price... Perhaps the employees of Wendy's should eat there some time so they see first hand how one is supposed to interact with customers. read more

One star because I can't go lower. If their sandwiches are so fresh, hot and juicy, how does cheese not melt when it contacts the meat? Meat was not even close to the size of their quarter pound burgers that they used to serve and you couldn't even see the lettuce outside of the bun. This was a return visit from an earlier bad one to give them another chance. Figured anyone can have a bad day. Never again. read more
