I ordered breakfast sandwiches and a large order of breakfast potatoes. The potatoes were definitely not a large and the container was not full at all. I asked if the container that I was given was a large and the person at the window said, "Oh, did you order a large?". She checked my receipt and came back and said she was told that was the large for breakfast. So, is there a different large for other meals? This is a small on their app and a picture of what I received. Same size container and less potatoes. This location has also had a broken scanner for months and they don't automatically give receipts. You must request a receipt to get your ponts since they can't scan. Very disappointing! I was there on Wednesday 11/26 the food was not up to Wendy's Standards. The burger was cold and not freshly cooked. The fries were cold and I had to ask for new fries. The young lady that was working the register was texting and proceeded to prepare orders without washing her hands. The sitting area was very sterile. We have avoided this location for a couple years because of abysmal service. Passing by yesterday I noticed no long lines at lunchtime (12:30) just two cars waiting at the window. I gave it a chance. Pleasantly surprised. Was greeted as soon as I reached the speaker. One car in front of me at the window was handed their food as soon as I ordered. Was greeted with a smile. Asked if I wanted a receipt (something fast foods have tried to not do lately). Was given my food and told to have a nice day, again, with a smile. Got home and the Dave's double was literally picture perfect. Burger was hot and fresh, had been carefully wrapped, not smashed like most places. Fries were fresh and tasted great. This is a total 180 for this location, and we hope it lasts. They apparently finally have new management with a brain. read more

Ordered side of cheese sauce which I opened in the car as I was leaving the drive thru and I'm glad I did because there was a HAIR in my food. Now I understand that anything can happen even a random hair falling anywhere, but I didn't like a few other things: 1. The managers response was soo nonchalant. There was no urgency to trash that batch of cheese sauce (which I was sure to watch to make sure it was poured out). She didn't have any empathy for the fact that there was hair in my food. 2. The cashier looked tired, overworked. 3. The lobby was filthy, the ketchup containers were open and empty. 4. Safe to say I won't be returning to this location. Went here for lunch and they were not very busy, but it took way too long to get to the counter. The one girl working the register wasn't moving very quickly and overall didn't seem to care. Most of the attention was given to the drive thru, even though it wasn't overly busy. Once my order was taken I received my food in good time and everything was correct. The lobby was fairly clean, but the ghetto attitudes of several employees makes me not want to go back here. This is the worst customer service possible, and they can't blame it on doordash. Placing an order at 1:26 and your establishment closes at 2am, but you "prepare the order" and have 2 dashers come to retrieve this order but the store is closed. During the order the Drive thru man forgot to make the Combos a large. He wasn't able to fix it after he checked us out, so he said we would have to deal with the Manager. When she came up she said "y'all didn't pay for a large" then she closed the window. The other Drive thru guy pushed the food at us and slammed the window after scratching his head. Just move on to the nearest Wendy's, this place is a dumpster fire. Went through the drive through at 8:30 on a Friday and almost no one was there, that should have told me everything I needed to know about this place. Ordered 2 singles with cheese, asked for coke, "we don't have any coke". Ok..... she suggests a Dr. pepper, fine I'll have Dr. pepper instead. Ordered the new "saucy nuggs" and I see on the screen she's ringing them with no sauce. I said may I please have ranch with those, she says "we don't have ranch". Ok...really? I guess I probably have ranch at the house. Then I try to order a frosty, "we don't have Frosty's". COME ON. And this is after she cut me off after every item I asked for saying, "is that it? what else? Anything else?". GOOD LORD. I'll let you know when I'm done ordering! I roll up to the second window (because no one is at the first one) and eventually someone shows up with a pissy attitude saying I needed to stop at the first window to pay. I said sorry there was no one there. Luckily no one was behind me so I backed up and sat there, and sat there, and waited, until the person taking the payments finally showed up. Ah, that makes sense. It's the employee I saw step out front and light up a cigarette when I first pulled in so they had finally finished their smoke break. At least he was polite and said sorry about your wait. I pulled back up to the second window and the piss attitude girl shoved my food out the window and says "have a good night" which would normally be a pleasantry but the attitude with which she said it was as bad as it gets. I pulled off to the side to check and make sure the items I ordered were in the bag and saw everything so I went home. Well apparently I needed to unwrap it all in the parking lot because I got home and one of my "burgers" was a disgusting 3 hour old burnt looking chicken sandwich! ARE YOU KIDDING ME. I HAD to review this location after tonight's experience. I would give zero stars if I could. This is a zero star review. First, there's a line at the drive thru. No problem, I am probably the sixth or seventh car from the pickup window. Things seem to be moving slowly, but not slow enough that I would think about leaving. Then I'm next in line to order and the line comes to a complete stop. I glance at the clock. I order. The line is now about five minutes per car at the pickup window. If I hadn't already ordered, I would have left the line. I get to the pickup window and I'm waiting four minutes before I'm acknowledged. My payment is taken pretty quickly. The staff member is talking about how she has the six piece in its own bag and needs to add BBQ sauce. I tell her I requested honey mustard. She hears me, says "Okay," then proceeds to tell the other employee to put BBQ sauce in the bag... I see the cups in line are a small and a medium, even though I ordered two medium combos. I look at the receipt and only one is a medium. Fine. Everything else on the receipt is accurate to what I ordered. I get the food and drinks, the employee apologized for the wait. (+1 star) I get home. I'm tired and hangry. Then I open the bags and all hell breaks loose. I yell and scream because after waiting fifteen plus minutes, my order is wrong, on top of wrong, on top of wrong. The only thing that was correct is that cheese was put on the chili. The double wasn't custom made correctly. The fish wasn't prepared correctly and it was over cooked. The six piece were supposed to be strips, but I got nuggets. (I paid $7 for that small combo when the nuggets themselves are $1.89 or something.) No sauce was in the bag for the chicken. I would go back to complain, but I'm so peeved right now I know I would do or say something I'd regret. I've worked in the service industry before and it's not difficult to do this type of job. Not because of how many people were in the line. But by the time I got to the window. The staff was just being lazy at the window. Literally the worst experience I've ever had a fast food place in general. I work at Chick-fil-A, and we are built upon some pretty high standards so I understand not all restaurants are managed this way, but this Wendy's management is just careless and the attitudes are disgusting . From the order to the receiving of the food, was just disrespectful. While we were ordering the girl had an attitude from the beginning she constantly interrupted us with a rude tone followed by huffs and puffs. Then we get to the window no greeting, no hello how are you, snatches my card and slams the window shut. Comes back hands me back the card slams the window once again. She comes back about 5 minutes later hands us the food, drops the food then yells and slams the window shut AGAIN like it was our fault? She doesn't even come back. The least you could do is apologize and offer a replacement for the food you dropped?? We were nice to her the whole time even though I really wanted to hit this girl. We decided to just leave because my boyfriend was really upset about this and he didn't want to say anything rude to her. Then as we are leaving we check the food. Half the fries are on the ground back at the restraint where she dropped it, and the meal is completely wrong. And COLD. Just absolutely disappointing and doesn't help with the world we live in today. I have never left a bad review on a restaurant before especially from working in one myself, but this is just horrendous. If you are a young female especially African American female please look else where for a job. I was involved in a physic incident with a male worker and the management did nothing and there were no cameras actively working. This is one of THE WORST Wendy's I've ever encountered. And sadly IT'S the one closest to my house. The majority of the employees here (not all, but 8/10 & primarily those that work the night shift) are UNBELIEVABLY INCOMPETENT. I realize it's a fast food job, but to not give one single S**T about your job. UNACCEPTABLE. Inconsistency is a major pet peeve of mine and you never know what you'll get here. My stories of horrible service, don't-give-a-d*** attitudes, and incomplete / incorrect orders could fill 5 pages of this site so I won't torture you with that (you're welcome)! :) Sadly we both crave Wendy's spicy chicken sandwich & find ourselves behind the wheel of the car. Often times we will end up driving nearly four miles to the Northlake location b/c THEY seem to have their stuff together & are reliable. We should not have to drive four miles just to ensure we'll receive decent service & correct orders when there is a location less than ONE mile away. Ugh. If you can, save yourself the frustration, and bypass this location altogether. Choose another option in the area. Heck, choose Jason's Deli. It's just a few feet away & to be honest, you won't spend THAT much more, and it's healthier! read more

We're one of those families trying to cut wayyyyyyyyy back on fast food. But my daughter loves Wendy's. And *sigh* I'm a fan too. Neither of us eats beef but Wendy's chicken offerings aren't bad. I usually get a grilled chicken something or other. Either the sandwich or one of the smaller wraps. Rarely, I'll get the chicken nuggets. My daughter loves the spicy nuggets. An aside: Not specific to this location but just a comment on the nuggets in general: the spicy nuggets aren't as plump as the regular nuggets. Blehhh. This location has been clean every time we've visited, which is maybe once a month as we shop the merchants in this area often. I went to this Wendy's when I was a child 20 years ago; back when there was almost nothing on Harris Blvd. It was clean and we never had any problems with the service or product. Today however... the saying "things get better with age" seems to have skipped right over this Wendy's and it's step-brother "customer service is a foreign language" seems to have taken over. The people behind the counter seem to have no concept of professional behavior let alone common courtesies. I understand being paid minimum wage only gets you so much but even minimum wage should be enough to buy the customers an experience that does not include listening to the the drive thru window operator and the guy making fries and their vulgar and expletive filled conversation. Bottom Line: There is a Wendy's a couple miles down the road at Northlake Mall that is newer, cleaner, and faster. It is not the best fast-food place by any stretch of the imagination but it is certainly better. read more
