Horrible Drive Thru Service. The young man didn't even say hello, all I got was a fish sandwich with just cheese and a key chain frosty ONLY. He tried to charge me for the frosty. I then said "no I have a key chain. He then verbally confirmed my order and amount $6.29. I get to the window and mow my amount is $6.86. I said no the screen said $6.29 and you verbally confirmed. I handed him .30 cent and said I'll tap my card for the $6.00. You can keep the Penney. He then said no you owe me .86 more cent after I gave him the .30. I he then said to me you trying to get me fired. I said no. Please go get your supervisor. Well she was standing right there giggling and said I got it. He then tapped the register. She then said you owe us .86 more cents. I said nope I gave him .30. Shen ten said well he did not charge you for the frosty. I then produced my key chain tag. She said okay well you owe me $6.38. Aging I said nope. I then gave her .38 more cents and then asked her politely to please put the card reader at the window. I tapped my card and she handed me my food I asked for the receipt. I said to her don't fire him just retrain him so he can work on his customer service and the importance of not being rude rushing customers and telling them verbally the correct amount and always offer the receipt . She said okay I said thank you, I even made the heart sign on my heart. read more

Have time to kill? Want to wait for your good longer than normal? Or just grab a coffee only to be asked to park? This is your place!

This establishment continues to go downhill. I go once a week, and over the last year, I've watched the service and organization diminish. Today, most customers were disgruntled. I ordered an apple pecan salad, medium fries, and small pumpkin spice Frosty. The servers filled orders for customers who came in after me. They forgot my Frosty. When I got home, I found no pecans in my Apple Pecan salad. read more

I placed an order, got home and realized they forgot an item! I called the restaurant and a young lady answered "hello" I had to ask if it was Wendy's and proceeded to tell her the problem. She suggested that I come through the drive thru to get my food! I get there and I am sitting in the drive thru for at least 20 mins. read more

Wendy's - a list of orders on the app - Burgers Near Me - Bowie, Maryland

I have to say that this wasn't my first choice due to a history of bad experiences. However, I was pleasantly surprised. It was moderately busy. So we decided to go inside to order. There were about four parties ahead of us, so I dreaded the wait. And was shocked by the quick pace of orders and the pleasant attitude of the young man working the register. They had a rhythm to the madness of fast food. Kudos to the management! read more

I've been here a few times. The first time the inside was closed and long drove thru line. Food was good. Service good The second was faster. Food good. Service good. This evening ... hmm who ever it taking drove they orders needs a hug or something because not polite and very rushed. Let's hope the food is good and correct. The gentlemen that took my payment was cordial. read more

I wish I could give them no stars with how they handled my situation. I've been frequenting this Wendy's for years. So, being hungry what did I do? I go to my local Wendy's. Worse mistake ever!! I get my $5 biggie bag and I smell this foul odor coming from the bag. The smell was so putrid, it was like someone took their hand and wiped it through their ass crack, and touched my food and served it to me. George the manager laughed in my face, tried to downplay the situation and only when I said I wouldn't be coming back to the restaurant tried to resolve the issue. They don't wear gloves to handle your food and they don't take the customer's needs seriously. Will not be going again. read more

As one of 2 guests inside, it took forever to get over cooked food that was handed to me by a young lady that had an attitude was loud. There was touching of multiple surfaces with the same pair of gloves. For example, the young lady working fries touching a gentleman's headset with the same pair of gloves. Not changing them prior to going back to fries. There did not seem to be an adult in sight. It seemed to be ran by a bunch high schoolers. The drive thru line was blocking the exit. There was knee length hair hanging down uncovered. Even if we weren't in a pandemic, this state of food handling is deplorable. read more

Do not come here; the service is always slow--perpetual inexperienced staff. You develop experience overtime, please make it make sense. read more

Wendy's - a large group of people in a fast food restaurant - Burgers Near Me - Bowie, Maryland

It's getting better . . . They aren't detail oriented and get a little frustrated when you point it out.

First, we stopped here for a bathrooms stop. The ladies room had toilet paper rolls on the floor and none in any of the receptacles and papwe all over the floor. Also there was no paper in the holder to dry hands after washing. Then, because we made a bathroom stop we decided to at least have a meal. When we went to order a salad we were told "no salads", we asked no salads? the kid simply said "no salads" we said no thank you and left. At the least there could have been some kind of sign over all the salads on the menu. read more

This is the only Wendy's I will go to. The burgers look like the poster display and they are always sooo good!

Not sure if it's due to lack of qualified employees or what but this location is horrible. It's close to home, so that's the only reason i frequent but customer service leaves much to be desired. From the moment you pull up to order at drive thru, "what you want". After you order, they don't tell you a total, just "pull around". Even at the window i exchanged pleasantries, said "hello", nothing. I handed them my card, and someone else handed my food, I said "thank you", they rolled their eyes and walked away. Then I get my card back and they walk away. They turned around wondering why I'm still sitting at the window, like damn can I get my receipt please. I understand fast food is not a glamorous job but at least make the customer feel appreciated, or human at least. I really don't think I was asking for much. read more

I guess there doing better now because the food tasted like it was from a Wendy's commercial. I honestly was impressed because of there low rating. Really hot temperature food. Thank you guys for changing it up read more

My Southwest Avocado Chicken Salad barely had any chicken on it. Unfortunately I offered through a drive at night and didn't discover this problem until I got home. It contained a very small portion of chicken breast, cut into about 10 tiny pieces. I called to voice my dissatisfaction and need to return this Salad. I never had a chicken salad like anywhere. Now the next day I planning to return for a refund. read more

when was there an option for a Medium-Rare burger ?? my husband ordered the "Baconator" along with other food . we checked the food to make sure it was all there but it wasn't until we got home and he took a bite of his burger . he spit it out immediately realizing how undercooked the burger was . this seems to constantly be an issue for all of Bowie/Upper Marlboro locations . it's fast food and i know not to expect the best quality but it's still no excuse for serving raw meat where "Medium-Rare" isn't even an option read more

Pretty ok but not recommend for dates and outings because of the slow service rude servers and customers

If you are looking for "fast food" go somewhere else... NEVER use the drive thru as it will probably take 40 mins for your food... I will NEVER come back to this Wendy's again... it is sooooooo slow and there aren't many cars either. read more

Normally a pretty good location but the late night drive through crew are only wearing chin warmers, no masks. Need to get with it.

Honestly the worst fast food experience ever. Rude, dismissive, and they literally ignore you and give silent treatment to questions. asked. The franchise should be taken from them. Shocked! read more

Super slow. Spicy chicken sandwich was dried out chicken. I prefer Chick-fil-A but it's Sunday so they're closed. Parking lot and drive through create an obstacle course. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. read more

The workers here are the greatest. They are full of jokes and laughter. They also are super kind and generous!

This place is totally ridiculous. It is 535 pm and they have the doors locked. The store needs the corporate office to step in. How do you make money if you don't sell the food. Your forcing everyone to go to the drive thru. This is absolutely the worst fast food place in Bowie. Do your self a favor and drive to Crofton. Just by pass this place all together. read more

I don't know who planned the layout of this place but they should be fired. I couldn't even pull in and out of the parking lot without major maneuvering. The drive thru line didn't move in the 15 mins I was there and their door was jammed so I couldn't even get in! By the way, it was later in the afternoon so I can't even imagine what it looks like at lunch rush. So much for fast food. read more

If you're looking for ghetto customer service this is the place to be. Ghetto fabulous at its finest! I literally watched the young lady fill up a water pitcher at the hand washing sink. HAND WASHING SINK you know the one you use after you leave the restroom to come back to work ... How is this place even open! read more

HORRIBLE. Long line. Finally get to the window and they wouldn't even take my order. Waited and still nothing. Do not go here. Cars PILED UP in the drive through. Not even sure it's sanitary. Left. read more

Came on the night of August 13, when the manager (light skin guy with dreads) politely served me two cold burgers with extra patties. I asked why they couldn't serve the lemonade, which I was told that they were closing soon and it was for the next day. Am I not still a customer regardless of the day??! I assume I was served raw food from the manager because of my drink request. I would stay FAR FAR. Away from this Wendy's! It's enough going on today, you don't want to add food poisoning to your list! read more

Stopped by last week and my meal was really good and staff are efficient and friendly. I got the 4 for 4.00 and a pretty darn good bacon cheeseburger ! read more

Terrible EVERY TIME. I'm done giving this joint the benefit of the doubt. It really should be ZERO stars. They take absolutely no pride or care in the quality of service or food they put out. My fav meal has always been the Spicy Chx sand. I guess they don't sell too many here b/c whenever I order one from this location it never fails to be a cold, gritty hockey puck. The lettuce is always wilted and the mayo is always overkill. Honestly, stopping at ANY Wendy's is like playing Russian Roulette these days. It's definitely not the Wendy's from back in the day. What TICKS ME OFF about this location is the staff giggling, laughing, acting UNPROFESSIONAL and making the food WRONG. Every time. Goo-Gobs of mayo after I asked for no mayo. No cheese when I ask for cheese. Nasty tomato when I asked for no tomato. The fries are usually cold and taste like they've been cooked in ancient grease. Forget this dirty joint.. it's a HOT GHET MESS read more

Currently sitting in the drive thru. The line has not moved in at least 10 minutes. Not sure what's going on with the management but someone needs to straighten this location out ASAP. And this is all the time. Not just today. read more

So we ordered online at work. Before heading to the restaurant I confirmed that the order had been received and all I would have to do is check in when I arrived. My phone was not allowing me to access the email so i went it anyway. I informed the manager and the cashier. The manager stated, Its probably not in our system then. I explained that i received the confirmation on my work email. She pulled the order up after the discussion. What gets me the most is that the order was there to work on 10 minutes before I arrived. So why was the order not started prior to my arrival then? She immediately gave me an attitude about it and while she was getting the order ready with the cashier. Then they screwed up on the baked potato and I had to wait even longer. The cashier Amanda was to one who caught the error with the baked potato, alerted the manager and the manager had even a bigger attitude. So did the person who prepared the baked potato the first time incorrectly. This is not the first time there has been issues with this location. Disrespecting the customer with attitude should not be an acceptable practice anywhere. You need to reevaluate who your company hires to manage the employees and store. read more

Every. Single. Time I come here, I have to wait at least 20-30 minutes in the drive-thru just to place an order... and another 10 to get my food. Nothing about this is FAST. Management.... The absolute worst drive-through ever. These employees don't care about their job. No Emotion no hello no thank you no goodbye no nothing they're more worried about talking to them selves and their coworkers then doing their job. I get better service at McDonald's read more

The drive thru line was pretty long so I opted to go inside. I placed my order, but it took a while for my food to come. That's fine I'm patient during busy periods. However! As I was getting my food, an employee came from outside, used a little hand sanitizer, then proceeded to drop patties in the deep fryer. Not sure if regulation says you have to wear gloves on the deep fryer, but I am pretty sure you need to use more than hand sanitizer when coming in from outside. Covid or not that is unsanitary. You need to wash your hands properly before coming back to work. Safe to say I did not eat my food and won't be coming back. read more

Service is at a snails pace. Seriously, if 5 cars are in the drive thru lane, it will probably be a 15 to 20 minute wait. My wife and I really like Wendy's, so if we go, we'll drive up the street further to the one in Crofton. Between the sloooooooooow service, poor attitudes, and no attention to detail, we'll never go back. read more

Fast food has two characteristics. One is that they lack quality. Two, they are fast. This particular Wendy's only has one. They are slow slow slow. Given the choice between McDonalad's and Wendy's, I always avoid Mickey D's. I typically avoid all fast foods. Because I hired some contractors to do some home repair, I thought I would treat them. Naturally, I was going to pick something cheap and fast. But to sound like a broken record, they were slow slow slow. Oh well. read more

Super nice cashiers. Very nice and courteous. Facility a little dated, but the staff and cleanliness was outstanding!

Pulled up and there were flies flying out of the window. Cashier had grease on their hands which means food was handled without gloves. I saw multiple flies inside the place. The food itself tasted old and the batter wiped off of the chicken sandwich. That's a first for me. I typically love wendys. Wouldn't come back. Probably to any wendys actually. read more
