Employees are rude and careless. Trashy people gather in the parking lot to hang out and smoke, including the employees. Food was cold and tasted stale. I have been here 3 times and this was definitely the last. Yes I realize it is fast food so what do I expect...but there aren't many options here and I was on lunch break for work. Hamburgers are really good here and freshly cooked. They did mess up my order when I specified I wanted the no. 1 Dave's double cheeseburger I got a double stack which is the bargain burger but they fixed it. I had to pay more of course. the last two times we have went to the drive through for Chocolate Frosty they have been out. Managers - What's up with that? Fries were cold and soggy, burger was cold, cheese was not melted. The bun had been pressed down to warm everything up and was burnt on the bottom. Burger patty tasted like it was old. we left McDonald's to buy from Wendy's , they offered free senior drinks. now you have to also make a purchase. sometimes we did make a purchase. most times we got coffee and came back later to eat lunch. so now we have to go elsewhere. read more

Waited 25 minutes for a frosty, ordered in the app which had funds available in the app. Once I got to the window, employee decided to argue and tell me how my card is declined.. I explained that's impossible I didn't use a card, I ordered in the app and $20+ was available. She said okay well your card was declined, asked to speak to the manager on duty and the manager said just take it and go. As I pulled away I received notification that the money was removed from the app. Definitely not worth the wait, hassle or their service. read more

Preamble - I normally love Wendy's restaurants. Friendly people. Unique takes on regularly available food choices. Great frosty "shakes." When we were looking for a quick, reliable snack today, I suggested Wendy's. My local town's Wendy's closed last year so I haven't had a spicy chicken combo in months. Setup - The trouble here started when someone behind the counter, in the kitchen shouted, 'The grilled chicken is BAD..." The guy next to me blanched since he ordered a salad with grilled chicken. Eventually, they brought his food but had to struggle to find the dressing he ordered. When he was served, a second fellow was shown one salad - he ordered two - and then was told that he had to wait 12 minutes for the next salad. If this was my home state, that customer would have asked for his money back and left in a huff! Not here, he accepted the situation - Mid-West people are just so nice. Eventually and I do mean eventually, my meal arrived. But as I walked away, I was called back and told that there was a problem. He pulled back my fries and gave me a different size order (little larger...) and sent me on my way. This is about 18 minutes into my "fast food" order. The Meal - My spicy chicken sandwich was dry, flavorless and, around the edges, tough and stale tasting. The fries, usually my favorite part of a Wendy's meal, were soggy and limp. I actually didn't finish my medium sized order - that's never happened before. After sober reflection, I decided that this was the worst Wendy's meal I have ever had. Wendy's in Bedford has gone so down hill in the last couple years. I went by to get some food earlier and they forgot my French fries, so I went inside to get it (people miss stuff sometimes, I wasn't mad about it, I just wanted my fries) as I was standing at the counter, there was a girl sitting on the floor infront of the fryer playing on her phone and a man standing around the corner on his phone. I stood there for 5 minutes before I said anything and then then I told the girl they forgot my fries in the drive through, she just stared at me, and then the girl working the drive through came around the corner with an attitude and made it seem like it was such an inconvenience for her to get me my fries. Needless to say, I would rather make the drive to go to Wendy's in Mitchell then go back to the Bedford location. On another note, fries were either over cooked and had little to nothing in them, or so greasy and soggy that grease shot in your mouth as you took a bite. Nuggets we're extremely dry as well as the burgers. They also has no other frostys other than strawberry. read more

If you should happen to find yourself in Bedford Indiana and you have a strong hankering for a Wendy's Burger, or a Wendy's Frosty, or something else that Wendy's has, I am going to suggest to you that you just hold onto that strong hankering and wait until you get it back to Bloomington and go to the Wendy's across from the College Mall. It's a good one. But the Bedford Wendy's is one of the worst Wendy's restaurants that I have ever been in. It didn't seem like they could get very much of anything right. The place was seriously dirty. Both bathrooms we're very dirty. They got our order messed up twice, and I noticed that the were messing up some other people's orders. And they didn't really seem to care very much one way or the other. And because of all that, I stand by my original recommendation: Go to another Wendy's! read more

This used to be a great place for lunch, so I don't know what happened today. Went through the drive through and ordered 2 bacon double stacks. There was only 1 car in front of me that was finishing up their order when I got in line. The store was NOT busy. When I got to the pick up window, I received no receipt, but got my order fairly quick. Pulled out and on the way home, checked my bag. Pulled out the first sandwich, opened up the wrapper and right off the bat the sandwich looked old, took off the top bun and no bacon, no pickle, no mustard so I pulled out the other sandwich and it looked even worse. I took of the top bun and not only was their no bacon, pickle or mustard there was only 1 patty. I ordered 2 bacon double stacks totaling $6.40 and received 1 double stack ($2.39) and 1 jr. cheeseburger ($1.79) worth $4.48 (minus pickles and mustard). Not worth the $2 to drive back to town to complain with no receipt. WONT BE COMING BACK ANYTIME SOON. GET YOU ACT TOGETHER BEDFORD WENDY'S!!! I am one very disappointed and angry customer. read more

I placed my order at the window. I got up there and it was missing something. I asked about it and they claim they didn't ring that up. Ok, but how can I check when they never gave me a receipt. You know they're not giving receipts for a reason- so you can't report their screw ups. Whatever. Won't be going back to this place for a long, long time. read more

Although the food was just about the same as any other Wendy's the service and attention to detail was definitely lacking. I specifically told them I would like bbq sauce a couple of times at the drive through and when we got the food, of course no sauce. Someone else I was with ordered a diet drink and they didn't give them the diet. I felt like those were two pretty big mistakes to make in the order. Since I usually only give a max of 3 stars for fast food anyways, I think the forgetfulness of the crew warranted a 2 star at this Wendy's. read more

There was this one time i was so excited to get a tasty, juicy, meal. I decided to go to the famous restraunt, Wendys. I walked through the door in a hurry, i was hungry. When i got to the front of the line, I ordered. I found the person taking my order to be nice, but the cook to be rude. He kept giving me stuff that i didn't order. After about 10 minutes, i finally got my meal that i had ordered. The food was still delicious, though. I definitely recommend a cheeseburger with pickels and cheese only, and a medium fry, and of course, a cold drink. read more

i was at the bedford wendys had just ordered my food when the couple behind me began their order. the clerk explained they could not exchange items on the 4 for $4 , so the couple changed their order. i got my food and sat down just to have to go back because the sandwich was wrong. when i got to the counter the clerk stated i know they just told me they gave you the wrong food. so i waited for the food to be corrected returned to my seat and ate. this whole time the couple that had ordered after me was still waiting on part of their order. the male customer asked for a refund he was tired of waiting and could not understand why it was taking so long to get the food being they was the only customers inside other than me. the oncoming manager said he would have to wait till the person who went to smoke came back in to do the refund. when that employee returned and asked why the refund the customer explained it had been 10 minutes and they still didnt have his food ready. the manager flat called him a lier and stated he was just wanting to cause trouble. mind you i had gotten my food and finished eating it before he asked for the refund so it was at least 10 minutes. after the customer got his refund and left the building the manager and clerk stood at the counter talking about the customer and his wife like they was crap and was doing it so loud that i and the other customers that had come in durring this exchange could hear everything being said. this is in no way how to run a business and i will never return. the couple that left had every right to want a refund and should have never been treated that way. so if you choose to eat at this wendys be sure to check your order and dont complain or they will talk trash about you when you leave. read more
