I should start by saying I actually like Wendy's food. But this location is Seriously the worst Wendy's I've ever been to. They were not open their posted hours - I got there at 9:40 and the dinning room was closed even though they were supposed to be open until 10. The drive through was slow, took over 20 minutes and there were only three cars in front of me. Once I got to the order window, no one answered. After about two minutes I called out and they said they would be right with me. I waited a full five minutes after that and still no one came. I called out again and After a few more minutes someone came and took my order. When I finally got my food, the fries were cold, the chicken sandwich was chewy and luke-warm. And they didn't put the chicken nuggets in the bag for my son's kid meal - which I didn't find out till after we got home. I went to leave a review on their website, and discovered you need a receipt in order to do so, at which point I realized I never got one. I will definitely not be back. read more

Although fast food usually disagrees with my stomach, I could eat at this Wendy's three times a day without getting that sick feeling in my stomach that neighboring restaurants give me. Since it is only two blocks from my house, I eat here more than anywhere else. About 80% of the time the food is perfect. Later at night the fries are sometimes a little cold, but I deal with it. For some reason, the food always seems better when I go in and order vs. going through the drive-thru. read more

We're getting wendy's again... this time they did HAVE one baked potato, but it was past its prime and we were told by an employee they didn't feel comfortable to give it to us. Mind you we're in the drive through and gone in 2 minutes therefore unlikely to come back. Got a side salad and a small fry in lieu of and actually pretty impressed by the level of fucks given. So an extra star. Couldn't properly heat his name but believe it was DeAnte and DeAndre. Hope this employee recognizes themselves and appreciates I super appreciate them! It seems like all fast food places have gone downhill over the last decade. I ordered a Big and Tasty combo medium sized. The guy said you want a with that I said no I want a Dr. Pepper instead because I was feeling well "One" due to my new PS4. I got to the window got my food and proceeded to work. I got to work settled in for a minute or two and pulled the food outvthe bag. Well I had a medium sized fry box with small sized fries in it, then opened the wrapper for the burger and the meat looked and tastes overcooked then went to take a sip of "Dr Pepper" and surprise it was a damn Coke. They got one thing right about my meal I said no pickles and there wasn't any on it. This place sucks balls I am never eating at this one ever again. read more

It's a fast food chain. How much can you expect? I don't know how much my tastes have changed or what may have changed at Wendy's. I remember Wendy's as a real bright spot in fast food burgers when I was a kid. On my visit the meat was dry and overcooked, the lettuce was wilted, and the other ingredients and condiments where poorly assembled. It just wasn't a good experience. It sure wasn't a good burger. I remember thicker, more carefully cooked meat, and assembly that gave you a bit of everything in each bite. I won't be attracted to any Wendy's for a while. I hope with time my impression will return to the Wendy's stores I remember from my youth. In the meantime I'll experiment with square burgers at home. *grin* read more

Cross contaminated food. Fish is cooked in the same oil as chicken nuggets. After my young son ate nuggets from this location we ended up in the hospital My son is allergic to fish. When I asked the cashier she said nuggets are cooked in different oil then fish. That's why he gets chicken nuggets. After my son started having a reaction the manager said nuggets are cooked in the same oil as fish. This store is going to kill someone. Even if you ask to be sure they still have no clue or are purposefully giving false information. These are the stupid mistakes that kill people. I'm in contact with a lawyer and hope to create some awareness of this issue. By knowing the problem and not doing anything about it Wendy's is putting people's lives in jeopardy. Usually can't go wrong with the Baconator. It was always juicy with crispy bacon. Dry this time and the fries were cold and soggy. McDonalds has stepped up their game with the new fresh beef. Been hot and juicy the two times I've tried it. You had the best burgers, but it's slipping. read more

worst establishment I have ever been to. I went through the drive through at 11:38, after checking online to see when the closing time was, closing is at 12 am. When I reached the drive through order section I waited for 5 minutes before anyone responded to the machine. After somebody finally fucking responded, I was meant by a rude employee who said that the drive-in was closed. After that, I went to go check to see if the in person order section was open and once inside again, I was met by a rude employee. They told me they were already closed and when I said to them the website said they weren't due to close until 12 they were disrespectful and told me that I was incorrect. I said to them I've been to this Wendy's before and that they have always been open till 12. After that they told me I had to leave because they were already closed. To have and hire employees that turn down business is down right atrocious! I've never felt more disrespected in an establishment. I am so offended by how I was treated I truly have no words, never in my life have I felt so disrespected by a restaurant (if you could even call it that). I will never spend my hard earned money here, and neither should you. This Wendy's should be replaced with something better. read more

Haven't been to a Wendy's in a while. Was on West Street heading home last night so decided to pick up dinner at Drive thru. Well fast food is not the right description for this location. Ten minutes is not fast to me. When I finally got food, the server did not apologize for the wait, so I gather this is their standard service. When I got the food home after a 5 minute drive, the fries were stone cold. I guess they let the fries wait in the bag for them to prepare burger. The place was not that busy, so I guess they really cannot handle standard service. Disappointing, since I generally like Wendy's, but this place will not be a repeat for me. Go to this Wendy's if absolutely do NOT value your time. They are the absolute slowest fast food restaurant that I have ever encountered. On top of that, I ONLY order the apple pecan salad. Twice I received it with no pecans and twice with no apples and once with no blue cheese. Like, do you not read your own recipes? It really doesn't matter day or night, they are slow. You can be the only car and if still takes 10min to get order. I do avoid this store at all costs but sometimes I have to go by default as it's the closest to my job. read more

It probably wouldn't matter anyway, they'll find a way to move slower than molasses going uphill in January. 2 weeks ago, I saw only 2 cars in the drive-thru, so, against my better judgment, I got in line. Mistake! waited almost 10 minutes for the 1 car to move. Then waited 10 more minutes for the second car. Then got to the speaker and still had to wait. Almost 30 minutes later I left with a lackluster meal. And the total they gave me at the speaker was less than the real total at the window. I get off work at 11 PM, and often stop off at a fast food place. I was the only customer when I ordered and pulled up to the window. I ordered two of the same meal to take home for my sig. other. I waited a good ten minutes before my order was ready, and the window staff didnt make eye contact or even say a word to me, even when I greeted him. He handed me both bags, and I went on my way. When I got home, one bag had what I ordered, and the other just had fries. I usually check my bag prior to pulling away, but get tired of the dirty looks I get when I dare check after them. One meal was $10.48, and a nice late night nosh was ruined because we only had half of our food and were both annoyed. I called the headquarters the next day and my name and number were passed on to the West Street Wendys manager along with my complaint. The manager finally did call me back, but I was not home and she left me a message telling me to call "anytime". I called back immediately after she called me, but she never answered. I left a message, which was never returned. I am quite sure that she was banking on me to just give up,which I did, but I just dont have time to play phone tag. Avoid the West Street Wendys and if you do go there, always check your bag and dont waste your breath trying to be pleasant. Andbe sure you arent in a rush when you go. Fast food, it aint. The food, by the way, was not even warm and was dry . Interestingly, when I have been to the McDonalds just next door, and the Burger King, across the street, at the same time of night, my orders have been correct and the staff have been pleasant and professional. Although I typically enjoy Wendy's food (when in the mood for fast food), my husband and I do not go to this Wendy's anymore. To start, the restaurant itself is a dump. It's incredibly out-dated and dirty. We would much rather go to the newly renovated McDonalds or Burger King next door/across the street. I know fast food places don't typically have the best service but the staff here always seems to be sloppy and lazy and they obviously don't care. The food is never fresh. I actually can't believe the food they sometimes serve. There were several occasions in which I would have taken the food back and asked for a refund except that we had taken it home to eat to avoid the trashy ambiance of the restaurant. The final straw was the day we went there and the lady in front of us ordered chili but they had somehow run out of spoons. The manager came out and obviously didn't care that this poor lady was served chili with no way of eating it. That same day, the syrup was out on most of the fountain drinks but the staff didn't seem to care to fix the issue. I'm honestly not sure how this branch stays open. read more
