Lack of customer service. .. i rarely eat at a fast food restaurant. The workers were more busy socializing than trying to give a good customer service. The girl named Jazmine did not even say "good evening how can i help you tonight" instead i received a cold "for here or to go" attitude and rushing to get back to her conversation with her coworkers. Let me preface this review by saying I am a big fan of Wendy's when one has to get a quick bite to eat. I've been to many many Wendy's establishments and the food is consistently good as compared to their competitors--actually it's generally better. So, this review, is about this particular location and not Wendy's generally. At this location today I found the usual good quality food. And I have to mention that this review would be one star but for the better than average service. The order taker and employees were friendly and efficient. But, unfortunately, this was the dirtiest Wendy's facility I've ever visited. I understand it was the end of the day...but dirty floors, overflowing trash cans, dirty floors and a very large and very nasty fly grooming itself over the register was, well--not appetizing. I am absolutely certain one person with 30 minutes and a bucket of cleaning solution and a sponge/mop could easily turn this experience into a four star. It can't be coincidence this is the lowest rated Wendy's I see in the area on yelp, I definitely don't think the issue is the employees but it is certainly the management. I like Wendy's but hate this one. They get my order wrong every time. I'm really not trying to be a bratty, entitled, quintessential American that thinks everything should be handed to them immediately and whenever they want it. Some people never learn. I've been here several times, and neither of all the times I've been here have I ever recognized that it's not the greatest Wendy's location of all the one's I've eaten at. I mean, the food is good (yes), but the service is rather embarrassing. It's clean, but it's rather in a depressing part of Albany. And about the worst thing I saw today was when the 50 cent Frosty that came out without a lid and had I not asked would probably have been missed. I love Wendy's, so it pains me to do this, but I have been disappointed two out of the three times I have stopped at this particular one. The first time, I ordered some food and a chocolate frosty. After waiting for an amount of time that I personally believe would disqualify this from being "fast food", I got to the window. I paid, and then I was informed at the window that they did not have chocolate frosties. Okay... I REALLY would have appreciated this information when I was ordering so I could have gone somewhere else, as I really only had stopped here because I wanted a chocolate frosty. I asked for a credit back to my card because I wasn't going to just buy chicken nuggets when really the only reason I stopped was for a frosty. Last night, I was craving some Wendy's, so I decided to stop again. Bad move! Again, I placed my order, a BBQ chicken salad and a chocolate frosty. The lady taking my order did not indicate in any fashion that there was a problem of any sort, so I thought things were good. I waited, again, for an unreasonably long time in the drive through. I do not understand what goes on at this Wendy's but the drive through is anything but convenient or swift or, apparently, efficient. I saw a gentleman walk into the restaurant and walk back out with food before I had even moved up one cars length. FINALLY I pull up to the window, and without even being told that there had been a problem with my order, the guy at the window asked "do you want to wait for your grilled chicken on the salad or do you want to order something else?" Wait, what? There was a problem with the chicken for my salad? I had NO IDEA because the employee taking the order NEVER TOLD ME. Ugh I was so annoyed. I felt as though he could have at least informed me first that there was an error or some sort, that the last person had ordered the last of the chicken, ANYTHING other than just asking what I want to do when I didn't even know what the situation was. Now I see why the drive through sucks so much, the people ordering food aren't told until they get to the window if there's a problem, and then they and everyone else in line wait while the employees try to fix the problem. Really slows the process down. Anyway. I was really upset because I just wanted my salad and a frosty and to call it a night. So I told the guy I didn't want anything (somehow managed to refrain from telling him how much this place majorly sucks) and drove off. I went to Five Guys and had a burger and a shake. AND IT WAS SO MUCH BETTER THAN ANYTHING WENDY'S COULD EVER MAKE. And I'll bet by the time I was leaving Five guys, some poor fools were still waiting in the drive through line at Wendy's. I won't be going back to this particular Wendy's. There are much better places to waste my time. read more

Decided to stop for Frosty Sundaes after sushi. Gentlemen was pleasant over the ordering speaker & greeted us with charisma & made sure our order was correct before serving us. Very slow service. The crew does not work at a quick pace at all. They however were friendly hence the two stars.

Sent my friends here the other night to get me food when they had visited me at work. They were gone about 45 minutes and Wendy's is five minutes from my job each way. Friend went tonight to once again get food because he wanted to stop by and visit. He left about 10:30, got there about 10:40. It is 10:57 and he hasn't even been able to order yet. He sent me a video of the line in front of him and there are easily ten cars there. At 10:30-10:40 PM. On a Saturday night.. Every time I go here the line is at least 10 people long and takes a good half an hour PER PERSON to order. Then you get to the pickup window. No one says hello or thanks you or even tells you how much it costs. They just take your card/money and run it. Then they give you the food and, like every Wendy's in the area except one, they get the order 100% wrong. You can see into the restaurant and there are three or four employees at any given time just standing there. Sometimes one is holding a mop just to appear busy. Sometimes it takes three people to figure out the register, even when the cashier is someone I've seen working there numerous times and is clearly not brand new. Friend said he rolled down the window and yelled "this is going on yelp" and the line moved. Not sure if coincidence. Wendy's is normally good, but this place is horrible. Send Undercover Boss in on this one. You'll have the first episode where they don't give employees anything but a demotion. My shift at work is ending in five minutes. Asked him if he's even ordered yet. He said no. My shift will be over by the time he gets the food. I could have just waited until AFTER WORK to go and get it myself at this rate. It's "FAST FOOD". Too bad you can't give zero starts or I would. Got into town late at night and went to this Wendy's. Drive thru was open and had a long line of cars. I was in line around 12:40~12:45. Line moved sloooooower than molasses. Just as the car in front of me got to where you ordered the "manager" came walking up the drive they saying they were now closed as it was now 1:00am. There was no one in line behind me and it would have been only two more cars. I even said I had been in line since 12:45!!! Sorry, nothing I can do we're closed. That the heck Wendy's ?!?! read more

I like Wendy's but this place is terrible, the workers have attitude, for fast food it takes forever to get the food and very unorganized. You have no idea how many times they give me the wrong order or forgot to give me sauce or food that I ordered. read more

saw a new commercial for Wendy's the other day. Had not been to a Wendy's in a while. Not since they had the salad bars. Boy have they gone down hill.
