The frosty didn't really survive the heat and melted before we got back, but I probably should have had that before the fries.. but I just couldn't resist the fries. I just came back from the drive through, they were rude did not greet were joking around throwing napkins and straws at each other and did not give me a straw for my drink nor did I get a spoon or straw for my frosty (go figure) one even messed with the screen of the one trying to take my order, cleared it out and had to put my order back in the screen only for them to not have change and I asked for no mustard and ketchup and of course it was on my burger. I hope management hires workers that can be more mature because tonight was like children working. The food was horrible, nuggets not cooked evenly like they were stuck together one side brown one side white and everything that was fried you could tell it cooked in super dirty not fresh oil. None of the food was hot it was barely warm and tasted like it had been sitting out. It makes sense the rating for this store is so low. My friends, my husband and I come here every Wednesday after our dance practice. We love this place, the staff especially Mark are so amazingly friendly, efficient, and very patient. We love the food and service. Mark is always so pleasant and very helpful especially when we're trying to figure out what is best to order. They have the best coffee, frosty drinks, and their new queso fries is awesome. My friends and I will always come here after our Wednesday dance practice and zumba fitness exercise. Make sure to get a receipt and make sure they charged you right! My friends went to eat there and got ripped off. They ordered a bourbon sandwich and asked if they can get a chicken instead of a beef patty (other wendys does it). They said ok but didn't tell them they were charging him $5 extra. He said he wasn't going to pay $5 extra for the sandwich. He then ordered a big cheddar sandwich which came with chicken and when he got home, he got a plain hamburger with lettuce and tomato. I called another Wendy's and asked if they charge $5 extra for a chicken substitution. They said absolutely not. So then I called the Aiea Wendy's and spoke to a nice supervisor. She apologized and said they do not charge $5 for the substitution. Then she handed me the phone and said I should talk to the other manager. I explained what happened and he said the other wendys closed. He said that 3 times. Then I said whats your GM's name. He said I dont know. I said you don't know and he said no and hung up on me. Not sure why here's such low ratings. Went drive through and ordered the 4 for $5 which we got double stack burger, 4pc chicken nuggets, small fries, and upgraded drink to a cold brew for .50! Only one car was in front and we got our food soon as we pulled forward. The food was good and the cold brew was pretty decent. Chicken nugget was kinda dry but not bad. The double stack was small but it's a value meal! You can't expect much from a fast food joint in general but my experience was great. 4 for $5 is a great deal I never knew they had. Solid 4/5 fast food experience. I don't generally go to Wendy's, but my uncle doesn't go too far from his house, so we decided it was best. I'm not the biggest fan of this parking lot, but there are almost a dozen spaces. We dined in, so nothing in this review has to do with the drive thru. Upon entering, it has cool air conditioning and it appears fairly clean inside, no obvious spills or trash to slip on. There was no line and the employees behind the register acknowledged and encouraged us to order when ready. The menu was surprisingly similar to the national ads I see on TV. *All too often Hawaii restaurants don't apply to national commercials or prices. We ordered the 4 for 5 and an extra drink. The food came out quickly and maybe I was just hungry, but it tasted pretty good. An old bonus was that the fountain for filling drinks is outside of the service counter so I could try different drink flavors as I or refill as I pleased. read more

I went to the counter to pick it up, and they said they were still waiting on two salads. Only one person was running the counter, going between taking orders and filling bags of food. Never order using uber. Everytime I've used ubereats or doordash they constantly screw up. I ordered a chicken sandwich with no tomatoes and got only the chicken and the lettuce. On another occasion I ordered extra cheese for my burger and they put the extra cheese in a separate box still cold. I've even ordered my usual order and I didn't get anything but my drink. Went through the drive thru & as happy as we were with the fast service (when it typically takes 10 minutes minimum between ordering & receiving food in this drive thru), it wasn't worth the half ass service we got with the small amount of fries. We didn't check the bag this time because the service was so quick we just assumed the workers were super on it, so that's our mistake. But when we got home, imagine our disappointment in seeing this half ass amount of fries in our medium order. The fries were also suuuuper soggy & cold. We only live 5 minutes away so usually the fries are still somewhat warm & crispy so we didn't think to check & be THOSE people. But damn. IDK what's going on with the Wendy's but went there at 6:35 AM this morning. Didn't have the most stellar experience but food came out okay. One thing to note is that they do not have the 2 for $4 Breakfast, but in fact its 2 for $6 (Typical of all Deals in Hawaii; more expensive). I wanted the Chicken Breakfast sandwich but they didn't have it in stock. So I guess not having 1 out of the 3 Breakfast sandwiches for the deal is kind of a bummer. They must be understaffed, because the Lady didn't look enthusiastic, and seemed to be the manager when I gave her my money. Also the fact that they didn't even have one of the Breakfast Sandwiches ready by Breakfast Open. I remember when they first opened in 2006/2007 had good memories of coming down there from after school just to grab a bite to eat. I just ate the Sausage Breakfast Sandwich and it was pretty good, a little bit on the sweeter side but still savory. Must be maple sausage. Also the bread was pretty light. Ordered a jalapeño popper salad and it should be named that. Didn't have time to actually read the drive thru description of the kind of salad I was expecting it to be by just the name of the salad. Anyway what I got was 3 pieces of fast food type of jalapeño's, more breaded chicken than jalapeño's, melted cheese, bacon, tomatoes, and barely any lettuce, jalapeño dressing and so called jalapeño croutons. Placed an order on their mobile app and after waiting in their drive thru for 10+ minutes they tell me they didn't get my order. No attempt to put the order together or remedy the situation. Called their customer service to get a refund for the $18 on my charge card and am told the store will give me a call soon. Two months later, no call. Called again, this time they tell me a regional manager will call me. I get a call back pretty promptly this time, but it's helpless. He tells me my card shouldn't have been charged (it did) since I didn't pick up the order. He said, "I can help you, but first you need to call the bank to contest the charge." I usually go to Wendy's by the airport since it's closer to town. However, we were at Ford Island last night, so we hit up the Wendy's in Aiea. It was around 9pm and the place was packed and so was the drive-thru. The parking lot is small and had no spaces left, so we parked on the side street. We walk into this place and there are two females taking orders at the register. The line goes down pretty quickly. Within 10 minutes, we are putting in our orders. I noticed that they placed a computer screen facing the customer so that you can see what you're ordering. Nice! We ordered a chocolate and vanilla frosty mix, small chili, cheeseburger jr., two chicken sandwiches, chicken burrito and a medium fries. It took 15 minutes for us to get our completed order. Yikes! The food was decent. It was kind of on the smaller side. Usually, the fries from Wendy's are soggy, yuck. Today, it was somewhat crispy, so I'm not going to complain. Their chili is full of beans. I got full from eating that alone. The best thing from Wendy's is, of course, the frosty. read more

How good can your food taste when you need to drive back more than once to correct your drive thru order? While I can speculate on the reason being a young temporary summer hire, I strongly recommend following McDonald's lead by having an employee check orders before distribution. That includes making sure when more than one salad is ordered, more than one fork is provided and not a fork & a knife. FYI, Wendy's salads are difficult to eat with a knife. this location was open and not busy at the time we arrived after spending the morning on Ford Island. Our order was taken at the counter and drink cup given immediately. Our meal was ready by the time I had the drinks poured. Very happy this location had indoor dining since so many fast food places are take out. I ordered my burger different than then normal way and they delivered it correctly. Fries were hot and freshly cooked. Burger was warm and had fresh produce. Tables were clean and bathroom was stocked. Employees were quick and got us in and out fast. We will return on our next visit. read more
