And look at the business's responses back. I reached out to get an estimate for a lash refill, but instead I was asked to come in before any pricing was provided. From my understanding, most lash salons have a set price for refills as long as lashes are still in an acceptable refillable state, depending on the type. I even sent a picture of my lashes, but they still insisted I needed to come in. I specifically asked for an estimate before coming in, but the estimate I finally received was almost $100 for lashes I've barely had for a week. I just wanted them a bit thicker, which makes that price feel extremely unreasonable. If my lashes weren't as full, I think they might have quoted me a higher price, but since they were full, I was given the standard rate. My point is, if pricing is based on the state of someone's lashes, then seeing that they're full should justify a fairer, possibly lower price, or at the very least be consistent. Instead, it feels like the normal price was kept while the potential for an upsell was considered, which seems unfair and misleading. Another reason I hesitated to come in is that I had seen some of the bad Yelp reviews. Even though most ratings are good, the negative ones made me hesitant, and I was right. Save your money, there are much better lash places around here. I'm glad I texted first rather than just showing up. I usually do walk-ins, but I wanted to make sure I could afford it, especially before traveling, and for lashes that are barely a week old, this feels unreasonable.

Claire is amazing!…read more I am not a regular eyelash extension person. I have done them 3 times total, all for special occasions. The first and second time I had them done by someone else, and the second time was for my bridal shower. I looked great, but after a few days my eyes felt tugging, pulling and irritated. After a few more days almost all of my extensions AND regular lashes had FALLEN OUT! I was so depressed as my wedding was coming up in 5-6 weeks and I needed the rest of my horrible extensions off. I messaged 4-5 local eyelash extension artists/businesses and I ended up choosing Claire because through our conversations she seemed the most knowledgeable, caring, and informative. I went to Claire to have them removed and she said she couldn't do lashes on me till my own grew out. I liked that she was honest in that she said it was such a short time till my wedding and that strip lashes might be my only choice. I went with her suggestion to try a lash growth serum and low and behold IT WORKED! I used the serum for those 5 weeks and sent a picture to Claire and she said I had enough lashes to go back and get extensions! YESSSSS Now it is 3 weeks since I got them done by Claire. They lasted perfectly throughout my wedding weekend, a week in Bora Bora (swimming in the ocean all day every day), and Coachella - AND THEY ARE STILL THERE. I'm not kidding, they still look super fly!! I would keep them on longer but I love rubbing my eyes and I just need a break from them. I'm currently scheduled to have them removed by Claire but after a short break I will absolutely go back to her. Things I noticed different about Claire's work compared to the others: - PAINLESS: even with Russian volume lashes I couldn't tell I had any on. They were weightless. - They don't fall out like the other ones. It took maybe a week a half to notice 4 lashes fall out. INSANE. - There is no feeling of tugging. She uses so little glue and it is so much better for your lash health. Thank you again so much Claire, I now understand why you have so many 5 star reviews!
