It would just constantly blow at one speed and you couldn't even shut it off. It would keep running even when you switched it off. You had to unplug it from the wall. There wasn't hot water for a shower one night. Our keys stopped working for no apparent reason. The last day our toilet started draining very slow. All in all, I feel very remorseful that I spent $360 on such a low quality/gross room a night an additional $100 for my 6 pound Chihuahua. Do not recommend. Exceedingly expensive for not much quality or cleanliness.

We contacted Orbital Inn before our trip and simply asked to reschedule for another weekend, but were told no. We understand policies, but expected some basic compassion given the circumstances. What was most disappointing was the way we were treated by the General Manager. Rather than showing empathy or trying to find a reasonable solution, we were repeatedly blamed for not buying trip protection, asked to apologize for not doing so, and talked over when we tried to end the conversation. Unfortunately, based on the lack of flexibility and customer service, we will not return to Orbital Inn and would strongly encourage others to consider staying elsewhere in Leavenworth. UPDATE: the host's comment below is a total lie. Not once did Linda offer to reimburse or credit half of the stay. She was on speaker phone and multiple people heard our conversation so I have witnesses to prove it. The only thing she offered was $100 credit for a future stay, which she offered via email once my husband reached out.

Basically, if you bought a ticket through a specific link, it would give some of the proceeds to the Humane Society. Great event, and great community give back. This event was so fun! For a few extra dollars ($5-$10), you could bring your beloved doggy companion as well. This was a really nice gesture to allow guests to bring their pets. It created a really cute and fun atmosphere. Although not all of the doggies behaved well (problems with barking and whining due to stimuli overload), it was still a fun event that I highly recommend if you're a pet lover. The game itself was really exciting and well played. The guys try really hard to score wins for the team. The excitement and energy really makes me want to go back and watch another game even though I'm not really a hockey fan. As I just said, you don't have to be a hockey fan to enjoy the games. It's an easy to understand game with lots of immediate action. Going home with a win does feel very good. The food could really use some work at concessions. When I go to other sports games like baseball, I have very fond memories of the concessions. But, the food is kinda of meh here. As a kid, I wouldn't really feel a special connection with the food because it tastes kind of... not great. Although the food isn't the best thing you'll ever eat, the prices are not super high. It's fairly affordable if you feel the need to eat.

The hotel has the Bavarian Hotel theme along with everything in Leavenworth. There are 3 floors, but no elevator. You get an old fashioned room key instead of a hotel card reader. You'll find a water carafe with cups in front of the stairs incase you need water in the middle of the night. The receptionist is also the same person serving you breakfast. She will send you a confirmation text before your arrival. I really enjoyed their traditional German breakfast, which includes cold cuts of meat, pastries, muffins, bread, and hard (or soft boiled) eggs. The room itself was very spacious. I liked the heated floors in the bathroom. The room includes one of those flat screens that turns into a painting / background when you turn it off. If you didn't know it was a TV, you'd think it's just framed artwork on the wall. Great location, great service, great food. One of my favorite places to stay.

It had a small microwave and a good sized small fridge. There was also a nice oscillating fan which ended up being very important. The room has AC but the air conditioning unit can't really keep up. You can't set the thermostat lower than 70 and the thermometer in the room showed 74-76 most of the time on a day in the mid 80s. Combined with the fan, it was enough to sleep comfortably. I'm unsure what would happen if the temperature rises to the 90s or 100s though. You have to climb stairs to the second floor. The stairs are inside. I'll post a picture of them. There's no elevator and no first floor guest rooms so it's something to know about if this matters to you. The parking lot is right across the pedestrian only street. I might stay there again. My only issue is that I like the room colder than it was, but I think the good fan was a smart touch and I'm glad I didn't have to go ask for one. Other people might be happy with that temperature so I added it to my review. Oh ya, dog friendly!

Although the parking and entrance is in the alley and a little hard to find. I'd to call their office to find out the direction to the entrance. They were every helpful. The suite is very well equipped with quality stuff right from the utensils to the refrigerator; and everything was very clean. There was free wifi and internet TV with Netflix (subscription included) and a few other online services like Amazon, etc. (free/fee depended on what you wanted to watch). The staff was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay there again when we go to Leavenworth!

Building only has three Suites so it feels very private. Very modern with high ceilings and everything is new and super clean. Free parking, coffee and WiFi is always nice. Lona was so helpful with check-in, dinner and spa recommendations, trouble shooting and was very responsive by text, email and phone. I was a bit concerned that the Suite was directly above the very popular Icicle Brewery since my wife is a very light sleeper. The building was put together well. Noise was very minimal and non existent after they closed at the reasonable hour of 11 pm. Parking is a bit tight if 3 SUVs are there, but it's free and if you need more space there is a pay lot across the street. Also no elevators so packing bags up to the room is a bit of a workout, so pack light and hit the brewery after unpacking. I hesitate to write this review because I want to keep this gem for myself, but I had to share this wonderful place. We will be back very soon.
